Quinton came out and didn’t charge for service call because mold area was so small. He told me how to get rid of it myself. Very unexpected. Would recommend them to anyone. Very honest & ethical compny

Lee Ramey came out and inspected the area near the leak. He developed a plan to remove drywall areas in question and proceed with mold remediation for several areas where he found mold growth. I had been very stressed and overwhelmed by the issue, and Lee was extremely professional and helpful and knowledgeable. As soon as he arrived and began talking with me, I felt better about the whole situation. He provided a detailed report of the proposed solution and an estimate. We agreed to have the company do the drywall removal and mold remediation process. He was very responsive and was able to schedule the work for a couple of days later. The crew leader, Marcus, was very friendly and professional. The entire crew did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything upon completion. Marcus had no problem showing me the work that had been done, what they found, and how they had removed contaminated material and treated the areas. They also did a test a few days after completion to confirm the mold issue had been successfully addressed and provided me with a report, photos, and certificate. I hope we do not have any other water and mold issues, but if we do I know to call Mold and Mildew Solutions! Thank you for doing such great work in a timely manner!

Absolutely loved working with this company. Wayne was so professional and knowledgeable. I was treated more than fair and plan to use them in the future for any other issues. We live in an old house with a crawl space and he gave me tips for the future to prevent moisture issues.

He removed all, sealed the exposed areas, replaced all damaged areas. He contained the damaged areas and all materials with plastic to contain ferther contamination. Ran before and after air quality tests, insuring that apartment'a air quality was clean and EPA acceptable.

There staff is very responsive and efficient. They get the problem handled without delays.

I had a limited job scope which was to test for mold behind one wall. I had a small patch 5 years ago when I took down wallpaper. He did a moisture reading & detected no moisture. Have a vent pipe from an old roof which must have had a leak at one point. It was determined that I do not have any current problems. He said that it was not necessary to replace the wall & when I did, he would come out for free & advise the workmen. Very pleased with him & he gave me peace of mind. Only charged me the minimum rate.

The house was built in 1960, so it has had a lot time to build problems. Since adding rain gutters and downspouts water had accumulated next to the foundation of the house. This apparently led to the moisture infiltration and mold build up. The mold is now gone and the crew gave me guidance on avoiding this in the future. Water from the downspouts has been redirected away from the base of the house and Mold and Mildew Solutions is set to provide an annual inspection to be sure that it does not return. This alone makes me feel better. The encapsulation makes going into the crawl space much easier and a chore that I no longer have to avoid. The crew that did the work were very professional and answered all questions as they came up. Now that the job is done, I am happy to have it behind me, but I am also very happy with the work that was done.

Lee was extremely professional, arrived exactly at 9:00 as we had scheduled and completed his work in a timely manner. Lee described everything in detail so that we can take steps to remove the mold. Mr. Taney made a special effort to meet the homeowner on her schedule when an opening arose. He arrived promptly when promised and gave an extensive inspection and oral report. Further he informed the owner of out dated techniques and the pros and cons of currently used techniques. I was informed that he was every bit as professional and honorable as that reported on other Angieslist reviews. Though we did not end up using their remediation services, M&M solutions was very professional. They gave us a very clear idea of what the issue was (humidity) and they actually recommended that we seek out assistance with that rather than cleaning up the mold, which would not have solved the problem on its own. They were knowledgeable and trustworthy.

We were very pleased with the level of expertise and good manners of all the guys that came to our house. I contacted this company to inquire about a mostly general, overview type mold inspection of a home, specifically related to attic / crawlspace. Service was courteous and respectful from start to finish. Mr. Ramey arrived very punctual at appointed time. After gathering some information, Mr. Ramey immediatley got to work inspecting and explaining the entire time. Mr. Ramey's service that day went WAY above and beyond what I expected. Mr. Ramey is also very knowledgable and experienced in his field and does a great job of explaining a subject which can seem overhwhelming and daunting at first. His thorough and reasonable explanations can do a lot to put your mind at ease. Mr. Ramey does not act like a salesman, only a professional that gives you the facts. I never felt pressured one way or the other, but he will take the time to listen to you and explain all available options to you and what may be best for your specific situation. Like I said before, I truly felt Mr. Ramey's inspection and advice went above and beyond what would be considered the norm. I felt as though he did not skimp on anything nor did he fail to mention anything else he noticed out of the ordinary during the inspection eventhough a few were beyond the scope of what what he was really getting paid to inspect. I feel as though that is a very ethical and customer-focused way of doing business, as he could have just as well walked by and only mentioned exactly what he was called to do or charge more for extra service. I even used a coupon off of Angie's List for this service and he was happy to accept it. There were no hidden costs or extra charges above what was expected prior to the inspection, only above-average service and advice. Mr. Ramey's service was a great value for the money. Mr. Ramey does not try to sell you on anything but works hard to earn your business if the need arises. I would definitely use this company again and recommend to others.

I thought the price was reasonable. It was a reasonable quote for the job. They were higher than another company, because it was such a big job. They were prompt and they were very professional. I had three companies came out and gave me a quote. Two of the companies were very professional. They spent a long time during the entire process. One company was just as good as another company as far as I could tell, on how much care they gave to the process. And they were very knowledgeable. We talked about some other problems I was having in the house. They were great. I would recommend them. I would have them do the work, but the whole process during the estimate, they were very professional and it really just came down to money where I pick between the two. They were there on time when they said they would be.

I contacted this company on Thursday 1/12/12 in the morning to inquire about having a home inspection and possible mold removal. The rep that answered the phone said that he could possibly have someone come out that afternoon but he would have to verify and call me back. By 3pm I had not heard back from him so I called to see what was going on. He said that he was very busy and they could not come out that afternoon but he would call me in the morning the next day Friday 1/13/12. I did not receive a call on Friday or Monday (Monday was MLK day to be fair but I am working on that day). Tuesday by 9am I still had not received a call. I called in and was told that they were very busy and that it would be 2 weeks before I could possibly receive an inspection. I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told the supervisor was the one who had not been returning my calls. I advised them that I was not happy and wanted to let the supervisor know before I posted this review. I was told thanks for my concern and have a great day.

They were very prompt and professional and they took a look at the area and looked around the whole house and even in the attic. They were very thorough. I would recommend and use them again.
