METRON FLOORING

Metron first told me it would take three days to do my floors. When he arrived, he said he could do them in one day. When I questioned this, he told me that he had a better way to do the floors, and they could be finished in a day and we could walk on them the next afternoon. I was skeptical, but he came highly recommended by a friend, so I let him proceed to do the floors. When he finished that afternoon, I paid him. Within the next few days, I noticed several things about the floors that I didn't like. The sanding of the floors was not done evenly, so my floors have dips in them. Also, the stain was not applied evenly. In some spots it is darker than others, and he missed several spots against the wall. Luckily, they are not that noticeable to visitors. Also, the polyurethane does not seem to be holding up very well. I also had a piece of the floor break off. I called him to find out what stain he used so I could repair it, and he never called me back. I finally reached him, and he told me where to buy the stain so I could repair the spot. My floors were refinished 6 months ago and I do not think he did a very good job. I think he was in a rush to get the work done and did a very poor job. I would not use him again.
