 + 0 moreKen Fordham did an excellent job erecting a fence on our very uneven backyard. His crew worked long hours and completed the job a day early. The fence is very sturdy with reinforced gates. He also designed and constructed bookcases and an extra long desk for our office. There was some misunderstanding about the placement of a hole for a socket, but he was willing to correct that. As it is, we decided to go with his ideas as the made more sense. There was some miscommunication about the delivery date for the furniture, but it was resolved.
Description of Work: Fencing and custom furniture.

 + 1 moreVery smoothly. Ken even called our home owners folks as the were dallying on giving us the go-ahead.
Description of Work: Ken has done several projects for us, most recently installing a fence with 2 gates. He was very responsive to our needs and his crew worked long hour to get the rather large project completed in 2 days. He reinforced the gates with metal gate kits.

 + -1 moreExcellent overall. The project was finished promptly, and at just $200 over the original estimate. The cost over run was because of problems with the irrigation system, which this contractor did not install but had to reroute and repair. The one little nit: Contractor did not paint some trim work, and wanted $300 additional to do that; I should have made sure it was included in the contract but did not.
Description of Work: Remove a small concrete pad and install a larger paver patio with lattice screening beneath porch. Paver area was approximately 15x35 with a 3x18 walk to back gate and stepping stone pathways to front yard and rear drive. Also included relandscaping area and rerouting irrigation system.
