I am a long time customer spending tens of thousands of dollars at Lowes in the past but getting no help with my present situation. We purchased 2300 sqft of LVP flooring in 2021 and within 12 months it was splintering. Nov 2022 I went back to the local Lowes (Fultondale, AL) and was told they do not help with warranty claims. So I contacted the manufacturer (Shaw), sending pictures, dates of purchase, etc. I called at least 5 times and spoke to different people each time who promised to do something (get an adjuster out, make it priority, etc) but after the phone call was over they ghosted me. Finally, a couple months ago, Shaw said they needed a form from the local Lowes store. They emailed the manager over the local flooring department, asking for the necessary form and copied me in the email. He never replied, I have emailed him 3 more times, been back in the store to talk to 2 employees, made several phone calls when I was told that manager was in the store, left messages for him, but he has never come to the phone, or come to the service desk to meet me, or ever returned my calls. *** Our flooring is a trip hazard as it is splintering so badly. But Shaw wants to send an adjuster to view it but I need to take it up now before someone gets hurt!
Description of Work: Sales only. But now I need Lowes to send a form to the manufacturer, yet I cannot even get the manager to speak to me.

Our experience was bad from start to finish. We began what was supposed to be an 8-week process in early June 2012, and the last part arrived in January 2013. Weeks of delays, incorrectly ordered parts, bad design - e.g., the fridge door couldn't be opened completely without pulling the fridge out 6" from the wall - and many, many phone calls to Lowes. Almost two months ago, when the work finally was finished, we contacted the corporate office to complain (we'd delayed calling the head office because we were advised by one of the workers to wait until the job was finished, although we talked to store management many times). The corporate office sent us right back to the store manager. The manager asked what he could do to make it up to us and we asked if they could fix a problem with the floor that was caused by incorrect measurements by Lowes. The manager said he'd look into it and that's the last we've heard from anyone. We provided detailed, written documentation of the problems and still no action.The floor looks bad, but at this point we can't stand the thought of dealing with Lowes again.

We went over to the Lowe's during the Thanksgiving weekend to check and see if there were any deals on custom blinds. As usual the displays lead us to believe that there was 20% discount on the blinds that we purchased (turned out that the discount was only for custom blinds that are order, not the ones that are available at the store). Either way, so as not to waste any time, I decided to purchase the blind. Since I was not good at it, I asked for a measurement ($35) and installation ($99) of the blinds (just two of them). The price is the same whether it is two blinds or nine (go figure!). After the measurement was done, I went back to the store next evening to pay for the installation where the store took of the $35 for measurement from the price of installation. I got a voicemail the next day in which they were trying to schedule an installation. I called back and left a message with a blinds representative. The biggest issue was finding the right person to talk with once the installation is paid, cause we need to then talk to installation department which seems to be disconnected with the sales. After two weeks of pillar and post, I walked into the store demanded that I get the blinds I paid for, which was promptly done by the really courteous lady who felt my pain. Anyways, I took the blind home (you have to, else you have to pay another $35 for a contractor to bring it in)., and called in to schedule an installation. After a week of back-and-forth, a contractor came in to fix the blind and found that the measurements of the blinds were wrong!!! He took the blinds back with him promising to call back the next day. There was no response for the next three days. So after several calls to various departments and the store manager, I walked back into the store asking for the blinds again. After waiting for 35 minutes in the store, I spoke to an installations person who said he had called to schedule the installation with the "correct" blinds. He did this after I visited the store and mentioned to a representative at desk. Either way, I was told that someone would come fix the blind within two business days. The two business days were gone with no response. This morning a contractor called in stating that he was sick and the he can come in if we don't mind, but that he would certainly not want us getting sick. He said that he can come back in after the Christmas. While we agree that this is the season and everyone deserves time of with their families, we had wanted our blinds done before our own family came visiting us. So as of now, we are still waiting for our blinds to be done!!!
Description of Work: I wanted two custom blinds to done for the new house we moved into.

He did an excellent job and cleaned everything up really nice. He was professional, showed up on time, and did the job pretty quickly. He was polite and friendly, and I would recommend Lowes workers.
Description of Work: The plumber came to my house and installed a new fifty-gallon, hot water heater, and removed the old one. He hooked up the existing pipes and lines, and hauled the old one away.

The job was done quickly and the workers did great. We were very pleased with the way things turned out, and they cleaned up so well. There were a couple of glitches, but it was worked out. They were on time and got the kitchen done when they said they would. Lowes is very reliable and usually sends out good workers. The flooring and backsplash were custom ordered, but we are still waiting on the threshold.
Description of Work: The work crew installed a new kitchen granite countertop, a brick backsplash and a natural stone kitchen floor. They installed the floor over the old one, and the old counter top was already removed.

We were very satisfied with the blinds they installed for us. They were good quality blinds, and they look great. The installers put them in properly, as they are nice and straight. They also did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves when they were done. I wouldn't hesitate using them again. I am really not sure of the price they charged us.

I was very happy when I spoke with someone at lowe's and they said they would be able to have someone at my house the same day to install the carpeting in my basement. I had called a few other places and none were able to get out that fast.

The Lowe's employees that came out to look at our new refrigerator were very courteous, clean and prompt. Since the refrigerator was still under warranty we didn't have to pay anything. They came right away and looked everything over and nothing was wrong with it. We just wanted to make sure it was ok.
Description of Work: Lowe's came out to check out our new refrigerator we bought, because it was making noises.

They ran into a lot of problems with this model of washing machine, and when ours went bad, they were all over it for us. It was the next day, and our washer was back to new. They were familiar with the problem, so they didn t waste any time at all. The repairman couldn t have been nicer, and this was a fairly good experience for us. I had an extended warranty on my washing machine.

A service man came out and evaluated what needed to be done. The contractors were back out about a day later. They didn't have any problems with the installation and they did an excellent job. They hauled the old windows away for us when they were done.
Description of Work: They installed 3 double pane energy saving insulated windows for me. They were average size windows.

Lowe s came here on time as scheduled. The worker was very kind and professional. He was able to fix the ice maker in about an hour. It is now working properly. The service was covered by the warranty. I am always happy with their service. I would highly recommend them to others.

I was very pleased with the finished product but was very unpleased with the service. It was very hard working with Lowes. I would not recommend this company to anyone, I did however like the subcontractors they hired to fix the plumbing issues I had after the countertops were installed.
Description of Work: I had a new backsplash and countertops replaced in my kitchen. They also put in place my new refrigerator and stove in the kitchen. The removal of old appliances and countertops was included in cost.
