+ -1 morethey cut down 3 dead trees in our yard. Said they were coming back the next day to cut them up and move debris. Its been over a week - they never showed up. We now have 3 dead trees still laying in our yard! They will not answer the phone or respond to messages. Very unprofessional!

+ 0 moreI reached out to Tim because he had helped me in the past. I have a very large tree that died and I wanted to give him another try. I have been told five different dates since his first visit. I would not recommend him EVER.

+ -1 more100% agree with every other bad review on here. Got his number from a neighbor. Same issues, hard to get to the job site, did not remove tree after cutting it down, said he would be back Friday to do it because his “guys were tired” and never showed up and will not respond to text or calls. Left damage to fences that we now have to repair because of improper removal or lack of experience. Would not hire ever again.

+ -1 moreShane Lowery was doing work in an acquaintance's neighborhood and I was given his number. The first red flag was trying to get him to the job in the first place. It was roughly 10 days from when he was scheduled to work till when he actually came.......he has an "excuse" for everything. When they finally showed up, their work was adequate but they forgot to take down one of the several limbs we discussed/agreed upon. It was late in the afternoon and Shane said they would return in the morning to take down the last limb. He asked for payment as his crew is paid daily. Against my better judgement, I paid him the full balance for the job. Needless to say, Shane took the money and ran. Lesson Learned. For the first couple of weeks after reaching out to him he said he would be over the next day to take care of it but has now quit taking my calls or responding to texts. Had I read these reviews on Angie's List I would have never paid him without the job being completed. DO NOT HIRE LOWERY'S TREE SERVICE. I never will again.

+ -1 moreThe work was ok but Mr. Lowery said he didn't have enough room on his truck to carry away all the debris as promised. Said he would return to pick it up. Never came back. My mistake for paying him and trusting he would do what he said. Talked with him several times. Each time he lied and said he was on his way. Still never came back. I would never hire him again.

+ -1 moreThey completed all the work except the large tree in the back. Mr Lowery advised he didn't have adequate personnel to safely cut the tree. He stated he would return the next day to finish and requested I pay for the work that had been completed which I did. He never returned to cut the large tree in the back. Thinking about it; my guess is it was more difficult than he originally thought and decided 'to walk away'.
Description of Work: Mr Lowery was in the neighborhood working and was going door to door trying to drum up additional business due the very slow period after the holidays. He removed several limbs over the house, a small dead tree in the front near the street and a small live tree on the side front. I also request a large dead tree be cut down, sectioned and left in the back which is a natural area.

Description of Work: They were scheduled to cut back limbs, a tall shrub line, 4 holly trees and privet in the easement. They showed up on time and work started fine. Late in the afternoon another worker showed up to do chainsaw work. I saw the owner and the employee arguing about something so I went outside to see what was wrong. The owner started after the employee with a large limb and was screaming at the employee. I yelled from my deck 'what's going on' and they owner suddenly changed his aggressive demeanor and lied to me stating nothing was going on. Turns out the worker was drunk and demanding his money. With a threat of police coming the worker left and grabbed a blower as "payment". He later came back and the arguing started all over again. He would not leave the property. He kept on and on about not getting paid. I told him several times to leave or I would call the police. The worker left, and the police came. Arrangements were made for them to finish the next day. They never returned. After calling the office number several times we were told that the owner, Shane, was thrown in jail the night before after a traffic accident that apparently was not his fault, but his temper escalated to the point that the police took him in. The work is still unfinished. I will never recommend them to anyone!!!!!

+ -1 moreI wasn't at the home at the time, but a neighbor called me to alert me to the damage he was doing. I got home and found him working to pull the tree that fell into my yard back into my neighbor's yard. I filed a police report to record the damage. He cut another tree from the top, so I saw that he has the skillset to do the job the right way, but he decided to the job the fast and cheap way. He shredded both my yard and the neighbor's yard. One of my trees was destroyed and may cost as much as $1,500 to replace. Update: He has refused to pay for the damage he has done and it looks like I will have to take him to small claims court. I have been very patient with this company but they are taking advantage of my patience by stalling and not answering or responding to my attempts to reach them.

+ -1 moreDid everything they promised, great job of cleaning up. They may have been trying to fit too much into a day, and toward the end, a couple of them were less effective and got a little sloppy. (This is the reason for the B on professionalism.)

+ -1 moreWent very well. However, getting trees trimmed is a lot like getting a haircut. You never know how much to remove and you are never sure that the cost matches the results. I have used Lowery 2 times now and I feel they are reputable and very reasonable with their pricing. Their crew is outstanding! Every limb is tied off and lowered down to the yard. They are amazing.
Description of Work: We had a tree (2 feet in diameter) removed that had split during a storm. We also had some high limb removal of several large oaks that were obstructing sun reaching some of our newly planted sod. We had a total of one tree removed, and trimming done on 3 trees.

+ -1 moreHe did cut down the trees but left most of the tree debris, did not clean out the gutters and did not replace heavy patio furniture that had to be moved for the work to be down which blocked the door to the garage. We contacted him on the following Monday and he said he would be over to take care of this. It turns out he was working right next door that day and never bothered to finish what he had contracted to do. A man's word is his bond. We would not use this man again.
Description of Work: Shane agreed to cut down several trees, remove most of the tree debris and to clean out the gutters of the house.

+ -1 moreI was in the market for a good tree trimmer. ?Shane Lowery knocked on my door at the same time I was asking another company to give a quote. ?Their quote was considerably less and the work that was done was very professional. ?These were great guys and were very appreciate of getting the work. ?The level of service was outstanding.
Description of Work: Removed 2 trees, cut dead branches out of another, and trimmed all branches away from the house to discourage squirrels. Worked about 6 hours cutting, trimming, grinding and disposing of limbs, and blowing/raking the yard.

+ -1 moreWe have used them for several years. He didn't do half of what we asked him to do. He was supposed to bring two people and show up at 9:00. He called at 10:00 and said he had overslept, and then he showed up by himself.
