Mr. Ron Kilgo was one of the best real estate agents that we had ever met. We talked to many agents since we had been looking for a home to buy and Ron was very helpful in finding us a temporary home until we could find a permanent one. We liked the way he always remained calm and neutral when he was asking questions for us about the rental homes we were looking at for our family. We learned many things about real estate agents since we have been looking and one thing became clear to us: most realtors are good at "talking the talk" but Ron was good at "walking the walk"! And he was only working with us to find a rental house which was not a big profit at all for him. Most realtors wouldn't have spent that much time with us, but he drove us around the Birmingham area and even took us out to lunch at a healthy local restaurant! None of the other realtors that we met in the area took us out to eat. He went over and beyond the call of duty. Now that is what we call southern hospitality! We ended up making a poor decision on the rental house as it had many problems and was not maintained well but that was the fault of the landlord not the realtor.
