Jeremy and his workers were professional and a pleasure to work with. They did a great job! They removed our old patio and poured a new patio, that was larger than our previous patio and a walkway. We chose stamped concrete. Jeremy provide two samples once we narrowed down texture and color so that we would know what the finished product would look like. Once the project started, they worked quickly and provided a quality job that my wife and I are very pleased with. Our friends and neighbors have been very impressed as well. The owner, Jeremy is very professional. He answered the phone when I called to get info about a driveway installed and set an appointment then and there. He came out within a few days and then up a general date for the installation (weather was the main factor) He was great about communication and very involved in the actual installation of the driveway. His crew was very efficient and did a great job of cleaning up. MY DRIVEWAY and WALKWAY to house LOOKS AWESOME!!!! SO HAPPY I USED THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I had a section of driveway removed and poured. Jeremy and his crew did a great job - it turned out so good. They were very careful around the garage door and retaining wall. Very satisfied and would Ihighly recommend them for any concrete job.

Jeremy and his crew did an excellent job replacing our 20 year-old concrete driveway. They were very professional, arrived when promised and worked in a coordinated manner which highlighted their expertise. On the first day (of a two day project) they removed big chunks of the old driveway using a Caterpillar and took their time around the house front door/detail areas with jackhammers and chisels. The forms and wire mesh were set by the afternoon and they left the job site very clean, taking all old concrete and scrap with them in several dump trucks. The second day they poured the driveway and finished the concrete with a very nice brush finish, just like I requested. They left caution tape around the driveway to ensure neighbors wouldn't walk on the surface and told me when we could drive our car back into the garage. JK Construction delivered exactly what they promised - to make our driveway look great again while taking the extra steps to ensure the driveway will last for years to come. I would highly recommend them!

I hired JK Construction to extend my patio which was not a huge job. Jeremy and his employees did a fantastic job, taking only several hours to complete the work. I will definitely call Jeremy again for my future projects!

This is a first class contractor. I feel qualified to make that evaluation since I was in industrial construction for 40 years. First and foremost Jeremy knows what he's doing and his crew knows what their doing. He has trained his crew to execute work without him having to be right there on top of them. After he laid out the work and gave them their instructions they performed expertly and efficiently without his direct supervision. Jeremy did make frequent visits during the work to check on progress and how things were going. Quality of the work was outstanding. Jeremy was very prompt to return my initial call, make appointment to make a proposal, establish a date to do the work and to complete the work. He had several really good ideas to make the project even more attractive than I had envisioned. That was during the initial call so was included in the quoted price, Not the typical contractor "add-on" or "extra". I highly recommend JK Construction and will use him for any future concrete work I might have.

As I am in the construction business, over the years I have used several concrete contractors, always with mixed results. When it cam to my home, I wanted a true professional as the pour was several yards. I used JK Construction after reading the reviews - and was not disappointed. Jeremy met me at my home, we reviewed my plan (which he modified, thank goodness) and quoted the project before he left. My only disappointment was they could not start right away - his schedule was booked, another sign of a quality contractor. When the crew came, they came prepared and knocked this project out in two days without sacrificing quality. In fact, the project well exceeded my expectations. If you need concrete work, I strongly suggest you give Jeremy a call.

We had a retaining wall and driveway with serious, complicated water drainage problems. Jeremy had plans for eliminating the water issue and stated he would get it corrected and that he did! Jeremy King of JK Construction just completed the job at the agreed on price and on schedule. He worked along side his employees assuring the work met his personal high standards of professionalism and integrity. The wall and driveway are not dry yet and I am already pleased. We are making plans for our next home improvement with JK Construction in mind.

Mr. King is the consummate gentleman. His knowledge of concrete driveways, and related issues, is complete. He performed everything I wanted him to do, and several related projects that I didn't know that he could perform. When he finished my job, I was completely satisfied. If I need anymore driveways in the future, I will just call him first, and forget the bid process. Having been in the Healthcare construction field for the last 25 years, I just thought I knew all about driveways. Now I do. I didn't know, what I didn't know.

JK is one of the very few players in the stamped concrete business in Birmingham that is reliable. We all know that contractors can be difficult to work with. This is particularly true of stamped concrete outfits around here. Most are completely unreliable. Don't mess around with those others. JK can be trusted, shows up when he says he will, and does a great job at a reasonable price.

Very good experience. Good work and great price. Much lower than the other 2 estimates I had. Jeremy was very patient with me after I missed 2 appointments! We had a driveway redone as well as a sidewalk and parking pad. Would definitely recommend JK Construction for concrete work.
