Could not have been better. Not a single complaint about anything. Today our yard is still the most attractive thig about our home.

Jim started with a couple of visits to gather our thoughts and plans and ask us some questions. He provided a color sketch of the entire layout of the front of the house and landscape, showing how he would proposed to meet our objectives along with his initial quote (the color drawing was not requested). He also provided pictures of some of his other work (that was similar to ours) and he provided pictures of material options for us to consider for our sidewalk/patio. He gave us a competitive price quote with options where we requested it. He was very easy to work with and I felt like he was always looking out for our best interest. The job took a little longer than we expected, but we did run into a couple of unforeseen items that he dealt with very effectively and efficiently, and we lost a little time to bad weather throughout the project. He was always willing to go the extra mile and attended to the small things that end up making a real difference in a good project and a great project. My wife and I are extremely happy with the result and have had many compliments since the job's completion. I would definitely use Jim Loper and Company again in the future.

called J Loper as part of getting several estimates for pouring a concrete patio to replace an old wooden deck in my back yard. The guy who came out to give the estimate turned out to be the owner Jim Loper himself, who, as it turns out, is always the one to do estimates for his company's work. Jim's estimate for the work was in the same price range as the other two companies I checked with, but I chose him because he took the boring square design I envisioned and drew out a rounded design that framed my house and yard very nicely, even though this was a small and basic concrete slab patio. He also drew out two price options: 1) the patio alone, and 2) the patio plus a landscape design for the area around the patio. I chose the patio only option, but Jim wound up giving me all the landscape design drawing he made and telling me exactly where I could go to get the best plants, what time to plant them, best plants for certain areas based on sun requirements etc.. Jim's crew did great work within the time frame agreed upon, and Jim was there daily to supervise his crew's work and to give me updates. He also noticed an isse with the grading of a part of the yard near the patio and simply had his earth-moving crew level it out for me, even though it was not part of the quote price, and he did that for free. The patio is simple but works perfectly for our house because of its design. The patio is simple slab concrete, but it has an etched design and a semi-circle form...not the square slab the other companies were planning to do. I am happy with the work and with Jim Loper in general. In the future, when I need any kind of landscaping, brick work etc., I will be using J Loper again because they can create a whole package for you: the brickwork, the patio, the landscaping etc. all into one coherent package instead of you needing to hire 3-4 different contractors to do the whole program.
