We worked with Mo at Issis and Sons. Mo took the time to get to know us and the kind of home we lived in to determine our best type of carpet. He also managed the removal of our old surface and install of our carpet and checked up on the progress and notified us of the timeline of the whole process. The carpet took 3-4 days to arrive from California--which he told us to expect. Our carpet was installed by David and David was very courteous and professional. All in all we had a great experience with Issis and Sons and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for carpet or flooring. 
We will definitely keep them in mind when we inevitably have to look for a rug or new flooring options for out house.

This process took 5 days and was much better than I could have imagined.  The sanding system used included a vacuum  so that the dust left in my house was very minimal.  Very professional people- from the first phone call through the entire process.  I will use them again because  of that.

On time and very quickly. Quality was excellent.

They did a good job. They were on time and kept in contact. They were professional and polite. I was pleased with the results. I've had them do some other work before, so I trusted them to do a good job.

Work was done well and as scheduled.  A couple of pieces of furniture were damaged when moved, but they were repaired to an excellent standard.  "B" grades are because this repair took several months to get completed.

The manager Joe was very good and accommodating.  He kept us up to date and informed on the progress.

We were attended by two representatives at this location.  They helped with type and color of product.  Explained differences in products.  They were patient.  They allowed us to take the rugs for trial.  Price was satisfactory and not much more than ordering online, and you get what you want the first time.  You are not always sure when ordering online.  We have used Issis at their other location on three occasions for much larger purchases and have always been satisfied.  Used the location at Greystone because we were in the area.

We had several discussions on tile color and design. Tim provided informed ideas that worked with our current home d?cor, The tile and plumber were timely and professional.

There was a miscommunication between the salesman and the installers that ended up with a job I was not satisfied with.  The salesman walked me through the decision about whether to keep the shoe moulding around the baseboards or to grout the edges.  I chose to grout the edges.  When they finished originally, they had just put down the original moulding they pulled up, nailed it in and left it like that.  No caulking, no painting - the moulding was cracked and broken in some places - poor job.  I had them come back and take up the moulding and grout the edges like I had originally wanted.  Unfortunately since they thought the edges were going to be covered up with the moulding, the grout lines around all the baseboards were terribly uneven and ugly - I could have probably done a better job!  The only thing I could do except have them pull up all the tile around the edges was to put new shoe moulding in - which I didn't want in the first place.  I still have to paint the shoe moulding because otherwise I would have had to take more time off work for them to have their painter come back on a different day.
Also, since they had to take the toilets up to put down the tile, one of them had a leak for a few days which ended up leaking from upstairs to downstairs leaving a watermark on the kitchen ceiling.
I chose Issis because they installed hardwood throughout my downstairs several years ago.  The entire process was easy I haven't had any trouble with the hardwood floor.  They are higher priced than other places, but I wanted the worry-free experience I had previously.  Obviously the tile experience was not the same and I will not be using them again. Basically I've paid full price for a floor that was not installed how I wanted it to be.  I've learned my lesson to make sure I give my own instructions to make sure everything has been communicated appropriately.

The amount of money they wanted was twice the amount of other bids. Their marble was exactly twice the price that it could be bought for elsewhere and their labor was three times more expensive than the final price we paid. If money is no object than you've found your place. Just don't forget your checkbook.

They did a good job. I bought tiles from them, and I am also buying hardwood. They are putting hardwood flooring down now.

I was extremely pleased with the whole process of working with Issis and Sons. For the area rug selection, they brought out 3 I'd considered and let me try them out to make a selection (that I love). They were on time and the owner followed up with me promptly. They also listened to my specific needs concerning the carpeting for the bedrooms and made appropriate suggestions. I received a very competitive price.
The delivery was very timely and on schedule. I was especially impressed with the gentlemen who came to lay the carpet: Steve McCorkle and Isaac. They arrived on time, worked hard and fast, were extremely pleasant, and did an excellent. They left no mess behind; everything was put back right where it belonged.
The whole experience working with this company was a pleasure and, besides using them for any future needs, I highly recommend them !!

Everyone was on time and performed the work as specified.  Steve Issis has a great operation and great support staff to make sure the customer is satisfied which in this field I can imagine can be hard to do.

My wife and i went to Issis and Son's in Pelham to get an estimate for hardwood flooring. Thier prices and products were in line with everwhere else but thier service was lacking. in the store the salesman was great but would not call us back later. we would have used them had they returned our repeated calls and voice messages.

Every time we have used Issis, they have been punctual and have done the job as expected - whether that was to deliver a new oriental rug, install carpet or deliver and set up new furniture. I expect the bamboo flooring installation will be done with the same level of skill as all of our other dealings with Issis. As I mentioned above, I will update this report after the flooring is installed at our lake home.
