It went very well. The salesperson was very helpful and professional but not overbearing. The cost was as advertised but I did have to buy new hook up parts that were lass than $50 but was given a refund because one of them they didnot have to use. They called the day before to remind me of the appointment and to let me know that the delivery person would call me about 30 minutes before delivery. Gave very clear and concise instructions on the delivery process and their responsibilities and my responsibilities as the customer (such as I must have the proper hook up already in place for the dryer, pull it away from the wall, unplug it, must have enough voltage, etc.) They arrived when they said they would. Hooked everything up properly. My mother was there because I had to work but they gave her instructions on how to use it and tested it to make sure it was working before they left. They cleaned up any mess they made and removed the old dryer with no damage to my walls or doors. I was very pleased with the service and will use them again. Very pleasant experience.

I had a great experience the manager came and found a crowning in my floor and he explained that it would not be the best idea to use that type of flooring. And the way my home is made it has begun to shift so Home Depot refunded my money without any problems. I would recommend them because they have super good deals with a large selection on special product deals. They also fixed the crowning that was in my floor.

roof dont leak but the walls continue to sweat. I am retired so I will save money to have Lowes fix it.

We shop there all the time. Their prices are reasonable. The store seems very disorganized compared to their competitor; that is the only thing we don't like. My husband shows here and at another home improvement store.

They quote process was fine. Their services were priced on the higher side; hence, I opted to shop around and hired someone else. I may take a quote again, in future.

All work was completed in one day as promised. Installation crew was courteous, hard working and neat.Job went well overall and we are very satisfied with the outcome.

After installation of carpet there were stains and seams were showing everywhere. I spoke with HD and had repair people as well as the store come out about 8-10 times over a 12 month period. They never got it right and they finally wore me out. I have taken off work enough to equate to $500 of lost time. After awhile it became cost prohibitive.

Bottom Line Up Front: We felt we had to beg this Home Depot store to take our money. There seemed to be no interest among the sales staff in actually doing this job. The salesperson was affable though he seemed reluctant to deal with a custom door job, to the point where if I had just given up and walked away, I doubt he would have minded losing the sale. I ended the issue by pointing out that I couldn't change my 1920s house, I needed a storm door, and I understood I would have to pay and wait for the door. Once past that point, the rest of the process went well, his estimate would prove to be very close to the actual price, and we paid $30 for someone to come out and verify my measurements (a procedure that they conduct regardless of circumstance, as part of the installation process). It then took 2 weeks, and a number of phone calls, to get the actual measurements conducted. The sub-contractor who actually did the measurements was very prompt and made an unsolicited follow-up phone call to me to verify he had turned the figures into Home Depot. Another 2 weeks went by with no progress, that consisted of three phases; (1) what order? (2) we lost the measurements; (3) okay we've ordered the door. I led the conversation through all 3 phases. The door was ordered on 6 November and eventually installed on 29 December. The final wait made sense, as the door had to be custom fabricated. The sub-contractor who actually did the installation work was punctual, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. The actual door, itself, was of high quality and met our expectations as to fit and finish. The sub-contractor offered a number of recommendations as to other Birmingham and Trussville Home Depots to work with in the future. In the end, this was almost a 90 day process driven in its entirety by my desire to give Home Depot money. On a final note, the District Services Manager for Home Depot did come by personally to check the work and, therefore, got on-the-ground insight into the effectiveness of the Crestwood Home Depot store.

Shopping experience was comfortable, efficient, and professional. Found the salesperson knowledgeable and helpful. Paid for delivery, installation, and removal of old stove/oven. While the delivery window was large (a full day), the delivery did occur on the date promised. Removal of the old stove/oven was accomplished; however, no one in the delivery crew was capable of installation since it was a gas versus electric appliance. No other individual was scheduled to arrive independently and install the gas stove/oven. My wife ended up installing it herself and having a plumber come in to check/certify her work. My wife and I were willing to write it off at the time as a disconnect between the sales floor and delivery crew. Whether that disconnect is one of knowledge (sales floor offers a capability that the company cannot deliver) or process (the company can install gas appliances as advertised but failed to conduct the proper coordination to exercise that function) we do not know. It was annoying to try and help my wife install a gas appliance over the telephone.

They were competent, but the foreman was irritable, if I asked questions or didn't just go along with everything he wanted to do. a He tried to get me to replace 3 roof vents (2 new) with a ridge vent and seemed irritated, when I did not. The workers shoved debris down the gutter spouts and clogged them all completely. I discovered and had to fix. Work seems ok. Difficult to deal with appts and getting some corrections, not the cheapest but better quality materials makes it better value.

Home Depot was very respectful. They did a great job. They decided to pull the old carpet up and also cleaned the wood that was down before they put the new carpet down. That s the first time someone had ever cared about what was under the carpet. They had to make two trips. They were just great.

Home Depot sold us very good quality kitchen components and did an excellent installation. There was a slight glitch, so it took three weeks while other work was also going on at the same time in our kitchen.

The whole overall job went as well as I expected and I was more than pleased with the look. They took great care if the inside of my home while they worked. They showed professionalism at all times. This was my entire house being done and they got it done in what I considered amazing time. It couldn't have been done any better in any way shape or form.

I didn't know initially, but after talking to family and friends I found it ridiculous that they charged for an estimate. The new windows looked good after they were done and that's about the best thing that happened. They weren't very proficient on any aspect and I considered this an average experience at best for me.

They sent a contractor to do the job and he did a good job. He obviously knew what he was doing and the door was nice and level, unlike the door we replaced. He cleaned up well and was very nice. He hauled away the old door for us. I wasn t sure what it cost for the new door.

I was pleased overall with the carpeting and how it all was done. A few minor things like the doorway strips might have been done a little better but all in all I had no complaints. They were very helpful throughout and did anything that I asked of them.

I was so glad that I stopped putting off the purchasing of a new garage door. I had so many companies to choose from and I was glad I chose Home Depot. They were on time and very respectful. They showed great skill in their work and they were very tidy. I was happy with my new garage door.

I wasn't home while they put the carpeting in and that was a mistake. The carpet I bought was a very plush carpeting. When I got home I found out that my closet doors in the rooms wouldn't open at all. I called them and they said I would have to get with the subs they hired to do the work to fix my problem. I paid Home Depot not their subs and they should have been the ones who took care of it.

We were impressed with the kitchen floor very much, when it was completed. It didn t have any rough edges or nicks in it. The crew that did the work represented them well and didn t hassle us at all. The floor only took a day to install and it was exactly what we wanted as far as the look. It was good quality flooring, what they used and we were very happy.
