All went well. Melvin and his assistant did an excellent job. Professional and friendly.

The work was done quickly, and the technicians were highly trained and professional. Every scrap of tape, tubing, packing, and many cartons both outside and inside our house were cleaned up at the end of each day and at the conclusion of the job. While this was an expensive undertaking, it was worth every penny. Mr. Todd Butts and his crew performed exemplary work.

Because the Guin service tech was smart, he realized the flame sensor failed because it was improperly installed at the factory, too close to the flame, making it prone to fail since it was first installed. If he had just installed another sensor, it would have failed soon. He repositioned the mounting plate, made sure ALL of the sensors were properly positioned and that was that.

They were very prompt, very professional, seemed to know what he was doing, and I was very satisfied.

I've used them for probably 40 years. They're the only one I have. I actually think they're very competitive. The last time I replaced the heating and air conditioner I checked with someone else and they were actually a good bit less on the same unit number. I thought it was a good price. I have not had any problems with them in 40 years. I have been satisfied with all their work. If I had any problems or questions, they took care of it. The workers were fine.

The guys from Guin were very professional. Assessed the situation and made the repairs very quickly. They knew exactly what we needed for the outdoor gas line valve. Feel much safer knowing this is done.

He was prompt and repaired the heater quickly.

Had an HVAC breakdown in the middle of a sweltering summer day Guin was the first to respond and did in fact find the problem , a bad contact, ,and had the AC working before the end of the day. However, upon this inspection, the AC FILTERS WERE NOT CHECKED causing the system to fail 4 days later. Upon request for a refund due to a promise to warrant the labor, Guin politely refused taking the position that it worked when they left So I paid about 150 for an inspection that I didn't get, and had to pay about the same amount for a second inspection from a different company An AC filter change is about the most basis repair or item of inspection I can imagine So all and all Poor service, very limited warranty and , including the two separate inspections required, the most expensive in the county

Very professional and prompt. Quickly identified our issue and replaced the part during the same visit. We now have working AC!

The Guin mechanic, Barry Nelms, performed an air conditioner diagnostic on our air conditioner the day after I called. He arrived at the appointed time, was very courteous, and provided helpful suggestions on how to maintain the efficiency of the unit. The diagnostic was free because we had contacted Guin through Angie's List.

They were trying to scam me. After the initial visit I called the supervisor. They sent out a different serviceman who fixed my issues, but that is what the fist guy should have done.

The man who came to perform this service was very polite and professional. He called before his arrival. I don't think that there was a lot to be done because the system is only about 7 months old. We decided to have the preventative maintenance service done in order to keep our warranty valid. We will schedule the next service for the fall.

I called Guin and the service tech came out this afternoon. Brian was the service tech. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I highly recommend Guin for HVAc issues.

It has been working fine since the repair. They did what they were suppose to.

Discovered we had no hot water about 8;00 pm on Friday. Called Guin, was told to expect a call from DeWayne in approximately 10 minutes. DeWayne called, said he was in Blount County, but could be at our home in about 30 minutes. I told him it could wait until the following day; but, came anyway. He arrived as predicted; found the problem was two expensive fuses and reset the heater. He told me that because the heater strip was not working, if it froze over night it could cause many hundreds of dollars damage. He finished about 9:00 (said he had been working since 6:30 am). Problem fixed.

It wasn’t working properly. We had a hot summer and didn’t have any problems with the work they did for us. We’re going to have the out soon for the service on our furnace.

Several days' work, expensive but had to be done.

They are great. I always use them. We had a problem with our toilet leaking. We called two different places and were told it would involve taking out part of the ceiling to investigate. We called Guin for a third opinion. They were able to fix the leak without opening the ceiling. They saved us a lot of money and worry. They are the only ones I will use.

This is my third review for Richard and his son Blake at Guin Service. They are professional, punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and just all around great. I have been referring folks to them for four years and will continue to do so. They go above and beyond, explain the issues, pros and cons, and never try to sell you a service or product you don't need.
