Description of Work: I thought the service would take about an hour - but the tech arrived late, and it took about two. I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding, but it was unfortunate that he tried very hard to sell me on a service plan for our A/C and heating :( The dryer vent appears to have been well-cleaned, though - and the technician was very nice.

Then Freedom's service call resulted in an additional charge for repair. Have contacted the company to see if we can be refunded for one service call of $59.00. Have used Freedom for years.

Description of Work: Freedom Heating and Air had a deal I purchased to clean my dryer vent and check out my heat and air system. The vent was badly clogged up and ran all the way to the roof. They took all the time needed to completely clean the entire vent. I couldn't be happier. Clothes now dry in half the time. They also added one pound of refrigerant my a/c needed and it is working perfectly. They were on time and completely professional. I will use them again and refer them to all my family and friends.

Description of Work: I hired them to clean my dryer vent. The technician they sent out kept saying he didn't know a lot about how to clean it, that he was a heat and sir man and that they were offering a heat and air inspection w the dryer vent cleaning because that was their primary business. He kept asking me how to clean the vent out and what tools they used in the past. He completely tore up my custom copper vent cover on the outside of the house, tore it off the brick and bent it all up. The day after he left I turned the dryer on, heard a pop and felt hot air coming around the dryer from the back. I pulled it out and he hadn't put the vent duct back on the wall or dryer properly so it had come off of both and I spent an hour reconnecting them myself. The duct was all bent and wouldn't go back on until I cut a new end and re shaped it. A waste of money and probably a bait and switch to try to get heat and cooling business.

Description of Work: Furnace Vent cleaning. Freedom did a thorough, courteous job of cleaning my furnace vents; however, they didn't pull much dirt out of the vents. I still have dust issues in one room. The most annoying snag was that they scheduled the service for one day, and they arrived a day early--at a time that we could not accommodate their service. We rescheduled for another day, and all was well.
