Description of Work: Provided AC tuneup and gave estimate for resolving issue with second floor cooling. Scott and Jason were very professional and provided a comprehensive assessment. Very fair estimate for repair needed.

Description of Work: Installed a new gas furnace and a/c coil. Installed both the next day after problems identified with an old a/c coil. I elected to go ahead with a new gas furnace since the a/c and now coil were both new. Work was performed in a professional manner, took less time than estimated.

Description of Work: I purchased the $59 service from Angie's list. They were quick to respond to my needs. The tech serviced my unit and explained what he was doing. Very nice and would used them in the future.

Description of Work: Nice people. Prompt and courteous. They make you think you are getting special "club" pricing of $40 for service call but then charge $160 for a $30 part. However this practice is almost universal in the HVAC industry in this area. Overall good service.

Description of Work: Dryer vent cleaning and air conditioner inspection. Tech went over and above his job, when he discovered how poor the attempt was at reattaching the hose during a recent remodeling job. He even went to local hardware store to get a connector to install hose properly! (It had just been crammed into hole in wall and taped to wall by a top rated company on Angies List! Lint was going inside wall!). If every technician at Freedom is this conscientious, then this is a company to do business with. |Also, another tech did the inspection of our air conditioner on which the compressor had stopped running after this appointment was scheduled. So he wasn't able to check everything, but did give a diagnosis and was very informative. We chose not to have it fixed at that time, as we will have further evaluation to determine if replacement might be better option. But this young man seemed very knowledgable and trustworthy. |Several days after the visit, I called to speak to a supervisor about our options for the air conditioner, and he returned my call within minutes. Gave lot of info and said he would come out without charge, and recheck everything and give his recommendation. |The B rating for punctuality is because the dryer vent tech arrived much later in the day than scheduled, due to complications with a large installation first thing that morning. I very likely could not have been able to wait that long, and would have had to reschedule which would have been a couple of weeks later before I would be available again. Gladly, it didn't inconvenience me too badly. |
