The person who did the repairs was very professional and did his job quickly. I actually bought one of their packages and it included a replacement blade. However the person said that the blade on my unit was in excellent condition so instead of replacing it just to make the extra money, he discounted the package accordingly. While no AC repair is going to be cheap, it was good that they offered a coupon (through Angie's List) to come out and do an estimate for free which is what initially what made me choose this company. I would definitely consider using them in the future.

I called them to get a second opinion on a price quote to replace one of four AC units in my home. I also asked them to clean all ducts in my newly purchased home. I was so happy with their professionalism (the inspector showed me much more than the first company) that I decided to use their services even though they were more expensive. I even showed them the price quote from the first company and they actually lowered their price to get closer to my first quoted price. They were able to immediately schedule a crew that arrived the next day (30 minutes early!) and completed the work within 4 hours. They also did a great job on cleaning my ducts/HVAC system since it covered 3 floors and 33 vents! I will definitely use them again!

Freedom Heating and Cooling was very good. He was a really good guy. He came out almost immediately on a Friday evening so I really appreciate it. He gave me a discount and everything was great. He just did an excellent job. It was actually the motor that had broken down and it was making a huge racket so all my neighbors were complaining. He had the motor too which was amazing. He was on time. He was going to elp us with more service, gave me some advice then he left.

I purchased a big deal. It was not so good. About 37 minutes after the last time they were supposed to show up I called and they didn't even have me down, listed as having an appointment. They didn't have me down at all. I was called later by someone wanting to come by four, he said he could get there by four, but you know this takes like three or four hours and I had to pick my dog up at the day kennel, I had all the cats upstairs, he would have had to spend the night and I just couldn't And by then you know, I was just a little wary anyway to have them come and work and clean my air ducts. Then he started talking about maintenance for my unit. From what I kind of got I'm thinking they were trying to sell me a maintenance plan. I think that's probably what would have happened. He just said, I said that's going to be long, he said we can just clean the air ducts today and do maintenance on your units later. And I'm thinking maintenance. No, I just didn't want to have to deal with having to have to go through, I just want the air duct cleaning. I have an air conditioning company that I really trust, but they don't do air duct cleaning. And I had some remodeling done in the house and thought well okay, I'll just get the main unit done downstairs and then we have some more work to do upstairs after that, if I like these guys I'll have them come back out and do the whole thing all over again plus the upstairs. So that was going to be my, that was my spiel so that I wouldn't be you know forced into anything. At that point, and it had been several hours and you know.

Mr. Swann, the Freedom representative was on time - was courteous and pleasant to do business with. Was very knowledgeable about air-conditioners and answered all my questions. He spent a lot of time accomplishing all the maintenance on the a/c and went far beyond my expectations in performing these tasks. I will definitely use Freedom when it's time to replace this 15-year old a/c. Mr. Swann is a definite asset to Freedom and is great in dealing with customers.

They were supposed to call me on Tuesday. They never reached out.

It worked out well. They were prompt, they worked out the solution, and they were courteous. No issues at all. They had the service done, but then it didn't work so they came back and offered an alternative and quoted it beforehand and I researched it was fair and it okay-ed it and then they had it done within about four days and it just went smooth. There was no problem at all. It was a smooth experience. I would use them again.

I had a coupon for them also. They were very punctual. They came here at 9 or 10:00 clock in the morning and stayed until six that evening. I had some major work done. He was very professional and good. They were really top notch.

They did a good job! The agent who came out initially said he wanted to get his manager involved. His supervisor came out and inspected the unit with me as all. I appreciated that and the service was good.

Technician showed up on within half-hour of scheduled appointment time and did notify me that he was enroute running a little late. He had similar appointment with customer prior to my 1 pm appointment. Upon arriving, I gave him a tour of my home to assist him in locating attic access to ducts and AC. He then started to unload his equipment (?generator & hoses) and asked if I had an extension cord he could borrow. I opened my garage and gave him access to cord and he placed generator on garage floor connecting it to my extension cord and running his hoses through the main entrance of my home. Of course, this exposed my garage as the door remained open. I returned to my in-home office as I was working at the computer. Upon finishing the maintenance, he had me sign work order and provide coupon I purchased on Angie's List. I closed garage door and techniciian exited my driveway. Approximately, 2 hours after technician leaving, I went to garage to set trash receptacle out for next day pick-up and at that time realized my $700 lawn mower and gas weed trimmer was missing. I was astounded to say the least as I had just used mower that am prior to technician arriving. I immediately called the company and spoke with a receptionist and reported this occurrence. I then called local police and initiated a report of stolen items with serial numbers. Approximately, 2 hous after the police viit, my spouse and I realized the AC wasn't working and called technician and he suggested that I check main breaker box in garage as he may have forgotten to turn breaker on to AC unit as it was required to power down for him to do his maintenance on it. Of course, when I checked the main breaker box in garage, that was indeed the problem. I flipped the breaker and the AC immediately started up (thank godness, as the temperature had risen to 82 degrees inside the home). I have resided in this neighborhood for aproximately 8 years and never had anything thing occur like this, as it is very rare that items are reported stolen or homes burglarized. I am not accusing technician, as it is possible that someone just drove by and walked up in garage in mid afternoon and stole the lawn equipment. However, I will add that the owner of the company has never followed up with me after the incident. Very disturbing, as I thought I might at least receive a follow-up call for details : - (

I called and the 1st time they hung up on me. I called back and explained that I needed the coil replaced on my Maytag air conditioner that was still under warranty. He told me that they do not work on Maytag...Really??

I will definitely use Freedom again. Justin was my technician and he was terrific. He was polite, punctual, and communicative. He spent two days at my house. The first day he diagnosed the issue and ordered a part. Once the part came in, he came back with a supervisor who I think routinely gives everything a second look before work is performed. After some discussion and more investigation, I decided to purchase a new, larger unit. Freedom helped me get financing through the gas company which was very easy and quick. Within hours I had a new unit set up and my house was finally cooling! Justin spent hours in a small, cramped, hot attic on a day that was 85 degrees with 100% humidity. They wore covers over their shoes to keep the carpet/floors clean. They have a published price list so there is no mystery about what you're paying for or any worries that you're not getting a good, standard price for something. There was no service call fee because there was a repair done.

He was nice, walked me through what he was doing. Answered any and all of my questions. Cleaned up after his-self. Over all a very good experience. Well worth the price. Will do more "deals" from ANGIE'S LIST. The "B" for punctuality was cause he was late, but I20-East was closed which made traffic a nightmare.

They were great, friendly and polite. Carried themselves in a professional manner and offered a great reasonable price.

I had the original installers replace the warranty items. I will be calling Freedom back to set up a maintenance service.
