My ducts were cleaned and they did a great job. All the debris was gone from all the vents. I would use them again.

I purchased a "deal" through Angie's List, and I thought the provider was supposed to contact me about scheduling service. I didn't hear from them for a couple days, and finally called myself. After a little confusion, I was promptly provided with the service, and everything went fine from there. Nice guy did the work, and he spent some time with me talking about HVAC systems. I would use this company again.

It was Labor Day weekend. Our AC went out and we expected to be without AC for the weekend never dreaming anyone would come out to our home. The Freedom Heating and Cooling employee arrived in just a couple hours to get it up and running, ordered a part and returned a couple days later to complete the service. We were amazed in their dedication to us their customer to provide us with exceptional service. The telephone service was also exceptional.

They just arranged the time and then they came. We were very satisfied with them. He seemed very professional, he was very nice, neat, personable and we were very happy with him. My husband thought the pricing was good or he wouldn't have asked for the service.

Hired Freedom Heating and Cooling to perform an inspection, tune up and cleaning of our 4 AC units. Charles arrived on time early that morning and spent basically the entire day working on our units. It seems that the previous company that was supposed to be maintaining our units had not really been doing the job properly, so he had a lot of work to do. He was very knowledgeable and had all the units working properly by the end of the day. He found one part that needed to be replaced and did that as well. Very happy with Freedom and have a contract with them for routine cleaning and maintenance now. The only negative is that they were supposed to contact me the following week to discuss possibly replacing one of our units (it is >25 yrs old and very inefficient) but they never did.

He did an amazing job. He gave us all of the ratings and told us everything about it. He said that everything was fine. We had paid for Freon but we did not need it. He checked the motor. I was extremely happy with him. He stayed very late to go through everything with my husband and I. He took us outside, showed us the unit, and explained to us that the base had settled. He told us that the mud needed to be removed, because it could cause damage to the unit. We took his advice and had it cleaned. He was very professional and we enjoyed having him in our house. I was pleased with everything. We would use them again.

It went OK. They had another special that fit what we needed and they applied this to it so we ended up spending about $98. The system basically needed to be replaced but they just got it running for us for the mean time until we could get it replaced. The motor was bad and it was old. We replaced it the next week because it wasn't going to work for a long length of time.

The cleaning of the ducts seemed to be successful. No allergy problems in the home so far.

The service person vacuumed out all the above outlets.

Freedom Heating and Cooling was very prompt; very courteous; and professional. The technician advised me how often to change my filter and what kind of filter to buy.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out very well. He was very nice. He did exactly what he was going to do and we went above and beyond for everything and he stayed until it was right. I was very impressed with him. He was just very meticulous about it. He asked me if he could unscrew something that might take a little of the pain off around before he ever did anything and he was very careful. He really did a great job. I called them and within 2 or 3 days, he had come. I paid just the $139 Big Deal price. I did not have to go above and beyond anything. I gave him $10 just because he was so kind. He couldn't have been nicer and he couldn't have been more careful. He cleaned his shoes before he came in. He was just really nice and very careful about everything. I have never looked for a price but it seemed reasonable. In fact they cleaned them all than reasonable and so I just had him keep the change. I thought it was going to be much higher than that. If it had been, I wouldn't have jumped at it but he was the right price. He just did everything. He came when he said he was going to be here. He gave me a time and he was here. I will absolutely use him again in the future.

Freedom Heating & Cooling service professional, Jeremy Hogg, was great. He was professional and knowledgeable. I was so impressed with the service I signed up for their annual service agreement for both AC units.

I purchased a tune up from Angie's List deals. The provider quickly set up an appointment time. The tech showed up on time and did his job. He even replaced the air filter at no extra charge. Electric bill is down substantially this month even thought it was the warmest it has been all summer. Don't know if they are correlated but I will continue to keep an eye out on the bill. Overall I was happy with the experience.

I went with another company that provided a lower quote and found a short in the system that they did not find.

The sales process went well. We got 3 quotes, and Freedom was the middle quote. Once we had selected them as a providor, it took us a few weeks to get the equity line in place for our work. Once started, the job was done in about a week and a half, but there were some communication issues with days the installers did not show up. And, the installers didn't do a very good job of cleaning up after themselves. We had to go behind them once the job was completed to clean up the trash in the attic. Another component to our job was to install two ceiling fans and a bathroom vent fan fixture. Freedom never returned to do this work at all. After repeated promises to take care of it in a day or two, we finally had the work done by someone else. Freedom was also supposed to send their plumber to quote some additional work we requested for a new water spicket and gas line in the back yard. Again, after repeated promises, I quit asking and they never showed. I think Freedom is a good company, but they are too busy to take good care of their customers.205

The service was good. We scheduled and the man who came out was on time and polite. He did not charge us anything extra. They did not get in touched with me immediately and when we did get in touched, we rescheduled a couple of times but then they came out.

Great. He was a little late due to traffic but not a problem. Work was completed as promised and I was advised that my other unit was a tad low on freon but there was no pressure to buy right now. All in all it was a great experience. Adam was very polite and professional.

It took about a week before they could get me on their schedule, but I honestly don't blame them that I wasn't a priority because they must lose money on the $99 coupon I bought. The technicians arrived as scheduled and were professional and courteous. They started by doing a "duct cleaning", but it turns out they have two levels of duct cleaning. With the coupon deal all they do is remove the registers, stick a compressed air house about 15 feet into the duct, and as they pull it back and blow air they hold a regular shop vac at the opening to suck up whatever is blown loose. I was expecting an actual duct cleaning, which is much more detailed. When I asked the tech about it, he said that is the "deluxe cleaning" which costs more. All in all the cleaning they did helped somewhat. My only disappointment was that nothing was mentioned on the coupon or when I scheduled the service that it does not actually include a real duct cleaning. See above for more....

Jeremey was a very pleasant and professional service technician. He made sure everything was in good order before he left. I will call his office and give him an excellent report!

First, the positive news is that Adam Sandlin, the technician who performed the inspection, did a good job. He was professional, courteous, and helpful. The complaint I have about the company is that this was the second time in as many weeks that the company failed to notify me that it was not going to be on time for the appointment. The first time, no one ever came and no one ever called to say they were not coming. I only found out that they were not going to make it after I had waited the full two-hour period , and then called to find out about the delay. The second time, despite being told that my house was the first on the list for the following day, I waited from 8:00 to 10:45 for a technician to show. When I called at 9:00 to fin out what the problem was, the company rep said one of their technicians had not come to work and they were trying to get someone else to substitute for him. Adam was the person they finally sent (he was called in on his day off). Even worse, the scheduler had instructed Adam to inspect only part of the system, rather than the whole thing which is what I had paid for and requested. Fortunately, Adam was willing to spend the time to do the complete job that day so I wouldn't have to take another two hours off work in the future. It's great that the company has decent, competent technicians like Adam. However, it needs to learn basic customer service which includes notifying the customer promptly if there is a change in plans, regardless of the reason.
