The provider was prompt and courteous. I was happy with the results and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I felt terrible calling on Iron Bowl Saturday but it as really cold at night. A repairman showed up within two hours. He was very courteous and professional. The problem was identified and repaired quickly. There was no pressure but he did say that we were probably looking at a replacement before long as the furnace is 18 yrs old. I would definitely call them again.

Super prompt, got there within hours of calling. Courteous. A little on the pricey side, but have no way of comparing.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. The price of the service wasn't unreasonable and the price of the unit was on par. The service was excellent. Both the technician and the sales guy were very nice, professional and easy to work with. I've had other A/C guys come out before and the guy from Freedom was by far the most knowledgeable and professional.

They were worked hard to get the job done correctly.

Freedom HVAC always provides quality service. I've used them to service, and sometimes repair, my system for three years now. I've had three different technicians, but each one of them has been punctual, professional, and competent. They explain what they are doing (if you ask, as I always do) and explain why in terms I can understand. Their prices are not the lowest, but I feel confident I am getting knowledgeable and thorough service. The price I paid included "membership" in a preferred customer group, which includes two more check-ups, at six-month intervals, during the next year, 20% discount on parts and any labor required, and priority service in case of a system outage.

It was wonderful. They were there for about three to four hours which was awesome. I couldn't believe they came out because I'm probably about 45, 50 miles from Birmingham that they came there, so I was just really pleased with everything. I received excellent service and I would recommend them highly.

The Freedom representative performed duct cleaning of the a/c and heating ducts. [He then replaced the filter in the furnace and retaped pipework from the furnace to the ducts in instances where deterioration had occurred.He then proceeded to inspect the A/C compressors and perform some cleaning before pronouncing they were in good shape] All of his work took about 6 hours. He was courteous throughout. answered my questions competently and made no charge for the unscheduled work described in brackets above. John Coleman

Contracted with them initally through Groupon. I purchased a 1 yr contract & service for my mother. Init. the service was excellent. I was pleased with the tech who came out - 1 1/2 hrs. Same one visited my Mom's home 'was great. The contract that I purchased included 19.95$ for serv. calls and 20% discount on parts & labor. I called them in May for an issue. Did not pay attention to the receipt $218 -before they left & had been charged $39.95 for service call , no discount listed. I called the office and told them of the error. I was told they had to go up on the service call. I did remind them that I had a contract with them and requested a refund.was told they would send . It is now the end of Oct and still have no refund. This seems like an example of bait and switch. My mother had also contracted for the 1yr service. On the 2nd service the tech was there for less than 10 min and informed her that there was spiders in the bottom of the unit & did not clean bottom of unit out.

In the end we realized that our AC unit needed to be replaced even though we took their services. Their AC prices are too high so we'll buy our unit with someone else. We wouldn't recommend them for replacing a unit.

Our home had 2 AC units that were 20 years old. Needless to say, they were not functioning well anymore and our electric bills were through the roof. We got 3 different estimates on replacing the units. Not only was Freedom the most competitive price wise, they came out to our house the same day we called and did not try to upsell us on anything. Once we made a decision, the work was done in a professional and timely manner. As a bonus, Freedom is affiliated with Costco so we ended up with a gift card to Costco worth $1000.

Very Professional, excellent workmanship.

It worked out well. They came out probably within a week of the purchase. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The things that stood out about them were the super friendly staff, that they were on time and that they did an excellent job.

Jeremy F. from Freedom arrived on time and when my Mother-in law visiting from NV. could not answer his questions, Jeremy F. promptly called me at work to discuss all of the concerns about my unit. This individual makes Freedom Heating and AC what it is today! Awesome customer service!

One worker came to clean the HVAC air ducts, and arrived on time. He worked quickly and orderly, going room-by-room upstairs and then downstairs. He removed the vent plates in each room, vacuumed and cleaned the ducts, and replaced the plates. He used a drop cloth in areas where dust and lint would have been difficult to vacuum (around computers and other electronic equipment). The job took about 2 hours overall. There wasn't as much dust and lint in the ducts as we expected (for a 11-year-old house with no pets), but we're glad we had it done because of my husband's allergies. Although he vacuumed each air duct, there were minor amounts of material in some areas that escaped his vacuum. So after he left, I needed to dust and vacuum each room. We were satisfied with the results.

The young man they sent over was polite and worked hard. He did an admirable job with the equipment he had available. Very impressed with his work ethic. Asked for a price on deodorizing my ducts, the young man called his supervisor and said they would call me with a price, which they never did.

The service was okay. I paid for whatever the bargain was. They did not do anything. They just theoretically looked at everything. Their price was okay. They came when they said that they were going to come. I think that they were on time. They just sent me a thing and I did not respond to it.

They person they sent out was very thorough, timely and nice. He took his time to check the HVAC and took time to answer questions I had.

Service was ok. The technician seemed to be distracted. Since we had 2 units and he cleaned our ducts it took all day (about 8 hours). They are supposed to suck up all the bad stuff from the duct system, but I noticed dust/lent all over my guest bathroom after he left that took some time to clean. Overall I think the service was ok, I just wouldn't give them an excellent.
