Very well. They were on time, professional and did a great job.

During the sale of our home, the purchaser had their own HVAC contractor evaluate our furnace, who stated that it was in terrible condition and needed to be completely replaced with a 95% efficient unit at a cost of $9,000. I contacted Freedom to service and inspect the unit and provide a recommendation on whether or not it needed to be replaced. They stated that while it was showing signs of age, it was completely functional and safe and did not need to be replaced, even though they would love the business. They also stated that the proposal originally received is not something that they would ever recommend for a home in the South, as you would never see the return on investment. They provided a number that was 20% of the cost for a full replacement of my furnace, including bringing all venting up to code. Freedom provided excellent timeliness on my service request (Within 24 hours) and their punctionality was exceptional. Due to my request for validation of the purchaser's inspection, they sent a technician and a supervisor in order to ensure accuracy and provide a quote, if necessary. They were both extremely confident in their statements and provided their contact information to speak to their reports in person, if necessary. I would definitely utilize Freedom in the future.

PROS: Service performed - Technician inspected my furnace. Then moved onto the duct cleaning. After the second vent he paused to tell me that the allergy issues(the reason we wanted our vents cleaned) were most likely not related to out ductwork, because the ducts appeared to be quite clean already. Even still, he completed the job. Very punctual Friendly technician CONS: Communication - This turned out to be a moderately messy job. He had to work in every room of the house, and left a little bit of dust under each vent(not much, but enough to need to vacuum). The dust and mess itself is not the problem. It's that I ended up having to scramble ahead of the technician to cover up and/or move furniture and bedding before he made it to each area. Now that I know how it's done, I can understand the level of mess to expect, but I didn't know that ahead of time and it was a surprise which is why I was scrambling to cover things and not get in his way. I think some proactive communication could have given me the chance to prepare ahead of time and make the visit go much more smoothly. Availability - No weekends - had to re-arrange my work schedule to accommodate Level of professionalism - For the most part the technician was professional, but a few items were slightly off-putting. First the air and vacuum lines were slightly short and required the him to move his car into my carport so that they could reach everywhere in the house. Seems odd that the equipment brought was not sufficient to perform the job without extraneous configuration. Lastly, a couple of times, the technician placed some of his dirty equipment on the furniture and the bed. I would expect the dirty equipment to stay on the floor, and preferably on a drop cloth. To be fair, the tech was slightly flustered, having previously explained that normally the vent cleaning is a 2 person job, but that he could handle it himself just fine. I think this raised the stress level and probably led to a small level of professionalism. Overall, it was a decent experience and worth the $$, but could have been a little less stressful and a little more professional. I already have a contract with another service provider for regular HVAC maintenance(I purchased this big deal for the vent cleaning), so I likely won't be using Freedom again, but I'm glad I had this service performed and the issues experienced would not prevent me from doing the same in the future.

They did a good job. I was not sure when they were going to complete the job but other than that; I was pleased with the results. .

Showed up and spent over an hour checking the furnace and all other units. Made some recommendations for maintenance I could do myself. Pleased with service.

Duct cleaning was okay. Tech did not service the heat pump

I ended up needing more in-depth work than I anticipated. They allowed me to substitute the air duct cleaning for additional refrigerant. They were great.

Very easy to get service man to my home to do work. Service man did more than require. Coupon called for one pound of Freon. Unit needed just a little more than a pound and was not charged for another pound.

I had signed up for a free tune up at the Home and Garden show. I was called and informed I had won a free tune up for my central air. They never showed up!!

On Dec. 10 and Jan 22nd, I had an appointment for them to come do the work and they didn't show up. They are not reliable.

They were prompt, and they did a good job, and they did it pretty quick.

The original price was almost $900. I shopped around amd found much lower prices. I call3ed Freedom and advised them what I found and they lowered the price to $475. This is great Customer Service.

Great. No problems and they were very prompt. Arrived when they said they would and completed work the same day. Made some recommendations to address noise issues, but confirmed that our unit was working properly prior to the sale of our home.

Well I called in for a furnace inspection because the unit wasn't blowing warm air and it was below freezing here. I made sure to pick a company with stellar review . I used the free Angie's List Promotion for a free diagnostic service call. The technician arrived promptly and was professional . He stated that the unit was shot and said we needed a new one which would cost upwards of $6000. Well this was devastating news because it was below freezing weather and this was a huge ordeal financially. He sent us photos of the unit and the damage and we negotiated the price down and I was prepared to sign a contract for work to be performed when I decided to get a second opinion. I called another company to get a price for a new unit and the first thing he asked was who told you you needed a new unit- I told him. He came out , switched out a part, cleaned the unit and installed a new thermostat and voila we were up and running. When I tell you I was overjoyed .I say this to say- ALWAYS get a second opinion. These units are big business and it saddens me that we almost purchased a new unit when ours was repairable.

I think overall everything went well, I think the price was excellent and the the technicians were very polite and professional. I would most definitely work with them again.

Pretty good, but they were too much into a hard sell to get me to buy 2 expensive new systems. The rest of their visit was fine.

The service was excellent! I was going to purchase a coupon via Angie's list but also wanted additional services performed. I called them and they honored the price from Angie's List. The technician arrived exactly on time, was pleasant and very professional. He had no issue with me asking questions and seeing what he was doing (I'm a tech head and DIYer so I like to know what all was going on). His supervisor came out while he was onsite and was very helpful in explaining all about the systems in the house and provided me with some good information on how long they should last and about the change over from freon to the new DOW chemical next year. The service was quick and went flawlessly. They even patched up some holes in the duct line to help prevent air leakage! I would highly recommend them again and plan on using them again in the future for any needs!

We were very satisfied. They did indicate to us that because we had two air conditioners that initially the Big Deal would only cover half the house but they did make it right. Scheduling was fine with them. The language of their Big Deals needs to be made clearer.

The service went very well. They were accommodating with scheduling the appointment and needing to reschedule the appointment. The tech worked hard all day. The price was well worth it.
