Description of Work: I guess I really didn't expect this kind of ploy out of an Angie recommended contractor- even after using Freedom H&C before for AC cleaning and was hopeful that we'd establish a relationship since my previous AC man died in the Aug.27 tornado. Looking for someone to trust. This pertains to order number 77827. I paid $100 for Full House Air Duct Cleaning and then when I called tot set up appt they said that since I had two AC that they wanted another $100. It does not stipulate that anywhere in the Big Deal!

Description of Work: Check my air conditioner and furnance, freon level plus the electrical connections, cleaned my air conditioner unit, throughly checked out the furnance. Had a good offer for regular maintenence 2 times a year. I bought that - $59 for two visits. The technician was pleasant and knowledgeable. Arrived on time. Very pleased

Description of Work: When I called to schedule service, I spoke with Chris and he was very courteous and professional. He told me that the coupons I purchased were for diagnostics if I was having problems with my A/C and not for routine maintenance service. He was VERY kind and offered to honor the $29 to tune-up my first unit and offered to charge $39 to tune-up the second. I did schedule an appointment to have them come out, but after thinking on it, I did not feel it to be fair to them to charge less than they normally would because I incorrectly read the coupon, so I cancelled the appointment and asked for a refund of the coupons instead. Thank you so much to you at Angie's List for refunding the coupon costs - I will read things much more closely in the future and will e-mail or call with questions if I am unclear on coupon terms. Freedom is not at fault at all in this. Thank you again.

Description of Work: This is my 3rd experience with Freedom HVAC and I am very pleased. During the holidays my newly installed Amana heat pump developed a defective defrost cycle board and the unit froze up in very cold weather for Alabama. This was all warranty work but they showed up the same day I called even during the holidays and diagnosed the problem. They came out the next day with the part that they had in the warehouse across town in Bessemer and installed it the next day. Problem solved at zero cost to me for the visit or parts and labor under their extended factory warranty.

Description of Work: On April 12th had air conditioning tune-up deal and prepaid the November 5th heating tune-up. Service response was quick. Technition was punctual, professional and did the job well.
