Bryant bid and supervised the job. He was open to my comments along the way that led swapping out the mortar color for the brick walls. Because he was open to listen and hear me out, we ended up with walls that match our house instead of walls with a different mortar color. The job finished well and we are pleased.

Bryant was super. Very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Gave a good bid (the middle of three) and we went with this one primarily based on what he proposed to do. David and his crew (Chris on day one) got here early and started right into the two separate projects. They had to work in pretty confined space and thus had to do a lot of hand work vice using machinery. They were super and worked hard the first day. They finished the next day and the finished product was I believe better than Bryant had projected with the estimate. We are completely happy and the price was right on. I would go with these gents. They continually kept us in the information loop and were very patient with us when we did have questions. I know my job was probably on the low end of what this company does complexity wise, but we are quite satisfied. My neighbor is considering them for a bigger job as I write. Super experience. This job went extremely well. Bryant Naile priced and supervised the job. The cost was on par with the 2 other quotes I got. (They were all within $100 of each other.) Bryant was prompt. He and his crew came when they said they would. They listened to me when I specified how I wanted it to look. They executed the job professionally and cleaned up afterwards. It turned out better than I expected. What more could you ask for?

Not well! The back yard was not properly graded, Bryant told(insisted) remodel contractor they would do it. They then removed majority of topsoil from property! Sod of poor quality laid on clay, with poor drainage. We questioned Bryant repeatedly about this, he insisted all was well there would not be drainage problem. Sprinkler system installed with too many sprinkler heads most within 10-12 feet of each other. Grass on half of yard died. Half of back yard held water with each rain, never drained , it became a mud hole. Called Bryant he said would fix but expected us to pay for it! He added shallow french drain which never worked. Called one of owners who came out, insisted nothing wrong with soil , and attempted to fix dip in yard and french drain which did not work. Today half of back yard an absolute mud hole, no grass. Obviously no one in this company has skill set to grade and level yard for new landscaping. They know nothing about identifying and fixing potential drainage problems. I question their ability to lay sod properly. We now know yard was not properly graded, and site not properly prepared for sod. Drainage issues directly related to poor site preparation and management. Window boxes ok. Could not recommend them for any landscape service .

Service was great. They leave notes on what they did which is nice. They are very professional on how they go about with things.

It was excellent and I use them monthly. They are very professional and dependable. There is nothing I dislike about them.

Overrall, it went very well. There were a few weather delays, and some items needing resolved once complete, but overall we are happy with the result. This year when the grass comes back will tell the tale.

Landscape to the present day. Then in 2013 Father Nature returned to landscape our backyard which included enclosing pool equipment, adding decking to coordinate with existing deck, adding deck railing, landscape lighting, installing new irrigation system, creating a rock walkway, building a short boulder retaining wall, laying a brick paver walkway, laying a round brick paver seating area which includes a firepit, many large tree and shrubbery plantings, and a large variety of smaller plantings. They continue to maintain this landscape to the present day. These men are very pleasant and easy to work with. They developed a beautiful landscape design. I didn't want some of the plants that were suggested. They listened and found really nice alternatives. I am loving these plants! The teams arrived early each day during installation and worked very hard. So, both installations went quickly. I never had any concerns about my security around these men. Likewise, in the years that they have maintained our yard I've never been concerned for the safety of myself or my dogs. They have always been professional and kind. I must admit that we went through a time period when I couldn't get the maintenance team to follow-up on some issues we were having with struggling plants. This lasted for about two months. That was frustrating, and we lost some plants. However, they guarantee their plants, so the plants have been replaced, and we are back to the excellent service that we had known previously. We regularly receive compliments on our yard from personal friends to strangers driving down our street. We greatly enjoy working with this company.

After the one-on-one assessment visit, I forwarded a survey of the property by email the next day … then had to ask for an acknowledgment several days later … then didn't hear from them again for several weeks. I emailed after about six weeks to ask for the plan and they responded "next week OK?" … I said yes, then never heard from them again. Spring growing window is closing here …. so we withdrew our request by email and are moving on to another landscape adviser.

I contacted Father Nature for an estimate on landscaping work via Angie's List on Friday 4/11, based on positive reviews and some secondhand knowledge of their reputation from other sources. My initial experience was positive, as Daniel contacted me later that day. He told me that they were busy due to the recent bad weather, but would contact me at the beginning of the next week to set up an appointment. A week passed and I had no contact from them. I called Daniel's cell phone and left a message, but no reply. Another week passed and I finally received an email from Daniel stating that he thought someone from Father Nature had gotten back in touch with me and apologizing for the "mix up". He said that he would "do his best" to set up an appointment ASAP to look at the work I needed done if I could give him some times that would work for me. I emailed him back with several times, but that was more than a week ago and I have received no reply. This is some of the worst communication and customer service I have ever experienced. They are either incapable of returning calls or emails in a timely manner or they have no respect for potential customers or their time. If they are too busy or not interested in my business, all I expect is the courtesy of a prompt reply stating that fact, so that I can cross them off my list and move on with another service provider. I have contacted several other providers via angie's list, and others that have been too busy at the time to get to the work in a timely manner have promptly returned my inquiries with that information. I am not sure if it is incompetence or a lack of common courtesy, but either way I would not recommend Father Nature to anyone based on my experience with them.

Andrew came out on time and took a look at the hill side that was in need of attention. He came up with a plan to stop the dirt from washing away and planted the area with foliage that look amazing. My hill looks great and is now a point of pride not embarrassment when people drive by. They were clean cut, professional and respectful from the top manager to the guys doing the work. Use Father Nature, they will not let you down!!

We are looking to level our backyard, extend our patio and add a few more details. These guys by far were the most professional. They offered us more for our money. They provided a detail diagram of what to expect. I can not say enough about their professionalism and desire to meet our needs. We have not moved forward with the update, but when we do, they will be doing it for us.

Father Nature Landscapes did an excellent job. Their amount was fair. It was, overall, a good experience.

Exceptionally pleasant to deal with. I did not do comparison shopping because I had seen other work by the company in the neighborhood. Their commitment to quality is apparent.

Loved the design that was presented and the finished product is even better. It was fun to work with these guys! They found ways to work in our budget but not lose the overall design. Glad we went with them and we admire their work.
