Description of Work: David Wilkerson came to our home and did an air leakage survey and then came back later in the week and went over the report with us. We were very impressed with his report and presentation. David was able with the use of his thermal camera to show us where our home is leaking cold air into it and where our heat ducts are leaking.Our home was very drafty and uncomfortable, such that we had them to come and do the job of sealing our home and duct work and increasing our attic insulation to R-38 as it should be. When we get our next power bill we will know how much we save on it. We can already tell a great improvement in the comfort of our home and we are telling our neighbors !Thanks for a great job !

Description of Work: Elizabeth was very thorough and professional. She did a great evaluation and we appreciated all the advise she provided. The report and pictures she provided were great, which made it very easy to see where we are losing energy. She gave us several options so that we would not have to do all the upgrades at once, or so that my husband could do some of the easier upgrades himself. We did not expect the estimate to be so high- we have a large house with a lot of areas that need added insulation. We are holding off on upgrades for now due to financial reasons.

Description of Work: Jonathan was very helpful and professional. He and his crew did a great job accessing the problems with my home and did a great job fixing those problems. I should see a 2 year payback from the repairs that were done. They could not have been any more professional or pleasant to work with.

Description of Work: They first came and made a home inspection using a big fan to basically suck all the cold air they could through any leaks in my house and then used a heat sensor to look for cold air leaks. Then they made a plan based on what they found and felt that I needed. They found me multiple energy efficiency rebates and I feel that the price was very reasonable. My house now is much more efficient and my energy bills, both heating and cooling, have been lower. My house also feels less drafty and there aren't "cold" or "hot" spots in rooms, or even rooms altogether. I'm very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone looking for energy efficiency services.

Description of Work: Jonathan at Eco-Three was very professional and responsive to both my calls and emails. He came and ran the blower test on my log home to determine which areas were in need of sealant and walked me through each room so I could see for myself. He emailed a report stating in detail what areas would be sealed along with the cost. Considering the size of our house along with the amount of work to be performed, I was very pleased with the quoted amount. Jason, Donnie and Mark came on three different occasions to perform the necessary work. They were always punctual, very polite and professional. They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them without hesitation.

Description of Work: They came and inspected my entire heating and cooling system and did a blower door test to find all the leaks in my house. Made repairs to heating and cooling system and sealed all leaks. They also sealed all leaks around my windows and duct system. After all work was completed they again did a blower door test to confirm that all leaks were repaired. Their men worked under my house in tight quarters and under wet conditions since we had a lot of rain prior to them doing this work. Their crew was very knowledgeable about how to make repairs that would stand up with time. They also conformed to state laws in all their work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help with their heating and cooling bills. I am sure they have saved me money going forward with my Alabama Power bills.

Description of Work: It took about 4 hours. He went thru the house inspecting every outlet, window, etc. Used the thermal gun to check for heat loss. Then he did a pressure test to really find the leaks in the house. Came back a week later with a detailed report and recommendations on fixing what he found wrong. Probably will not use this company again or any like it. We found out the information we wanted to know and no need to test again.

 + -1 moreWe elected to upgrade the energy efficiency of our home, which are summarized below. 1. Air sealing package that included watherstriping to the front door, air sealing around fireplaces, moldings, foaming/caulking cabinets and around windows and door trims and the studio floors. 2. In the attic, chaseways were air sealed, insulation was blown under the decking and access was insulated. 3. All duct work connections were sealed as were registers to the first floor. 4. Four to five inches of open cell spary foam was used to completely seal the basement ceiling. 5. Compressor lines were rewrapped and sealed. This work took several days and involved orchestrating several different work teams. The work was carefully done and the crews cleaned up after their work. Sam Hill explained each process and I watched their activities. Eco-Three has a government contract which absorbed the cost of the efficiency analysis before and after the work was completed and provided a $750 rebate. In addition, they will follow up our electrical and gas expenses for a year after completion to calculate the savings provided by the upgrades in comparison the previous several years of expenses. I cannot say enought about the professionalism and thoroughness of the work done by Eco-Three. We had no comlaints about their service. Given the amount of work performed, we thought that the price was very reasonable. I give them my highest recommendation and wish that all service providers reach their level of expertise and commitment.
Description of Work: Eco-Three LLC was recommend to us by our air conditioning contractor. We contacted them to perform an energy efficiency analysis on our one hundred year old home. The consultant, Sam Hill, was very knowledgeable about the processes to be used and thoroughly explained the results obtained. Their recommendations were supported by the results from various methods of measuring heat loss, which were provided in a final report complete with pictures to document the issues. Their recommendations took into account the length of time we planned to live in this home and whether the costs could be recoped in this time frame. We elected to have Eco-Three provide the upgrades of our choice. We were particularly impressed that the analytical tests were also performed after the work was completed to verify the predicted effects or to identify areas that needed additional attention.
