This guy is different. He truly understands heating/cooling systems as opposed to others who know just enough to get by and want to install a new unit. I had two others companies look at my heat pump, and both of them told me I needed a new system to the tune of about $4500. Early told me he thought he could repair it. He replaced a valve that was leaking freon, but the pressure was not right. He told me there had to be a blockage in the line. He went right to it and found a piece of metal that was about the size of a poppy seed. He explained that he thought it would be there because that is were the line narrows. Before he worked on it, the compressor seemed to be struggling to push the freon through the system, but now it is humming like a sewing machine. He did get a little busy with other jobs, so it took several days to finish the job, but saving $3700 was worth it. Before you install a new unit, you may want to give this guy a call and see what he thinks. I sure am glad I did.
