We had priced carpet at the home improvement places, & decided to get a quote from Dalton for comparison. They were much more reasonably priced, and included removal & haul away of the old carpet & pad, something that can be extra at other places. The installation team was on time and did a terrific job. We were especially impressed with how they were able to correct the subfloor squeaks, which were becoming a nuisance. The estimator was careful to note that they could not guarantee that they could correct all floor squeaks, but we were impressed with the results. The carpet made the house look new again. Overall, an outstanding experience, and we will call on them again should the need arise.

I visited several Flooring showrooms with a rough estimate of how much carpet we would need to get an idea of cost. This was the lowest estimate by far. Everyone I dealt with from the Showroom, to the Representative that came out to measure, to the Installer were friendly, Courteous, and the results are great! I love the new carpet and would definitely recommend Dalton Carpet Mill Outlet.

Dalton had a representative from Shaw come out to our house. We were told our carpet would wear better if we didn't walk on it. When I asked about Shaw's selling carpet you could not walk on, I was told he meant not to walk on the carpet bare-footed or with shoes - just with socks. He also said the more we get the carpet cleaned, the more the stain protection would be gone. This is a catch-22 because we have to get our carpets cleaned every 2-3 months to remove dark spots all over the house. We are two older women with an indoor cat. You might expect to have problems like this with a housefull of kids and dogs running in and out. I hate my carpet more every day. I do not think Shaw or Dalton treated us well and would never buy Shaw carpet or deal with Dalton again.

They have one of the best carpet installers I've ever seen in my life. Part of getting a good buy on carpet is getting a good installation. The gentleman has done work for me before and you talk about just great installation. A good deal on carpet isn't great if the installation isn't good. If you don't want a lot of seams in your carpet this guy knows how to do it. He knows how to place them so there isn't any physical wear to cause them to start fraying or anything. It's the most excellent service I've seen by anyone. If people want a professional job with work that is done right with the best on intentions they should go to them. You may pay a little more with this place, but it will look like a million dollars when it's installed.

The installers did a good job on our installation. It is very heavy vinyl not the cheap stuff. It lies perfectly flat. The cut is exact, it fits just right. We paid between $300-400 for the installation and the vinyl and all materials.

The biggest plus was how good the price was and the excellent results that came with that. None of the carpeting was loose or coming up. They got the doorways done right also. They didn t make a mess of our home in the process, and they actually were a very hard working crew. We loved the results and felt the service they provided was excellent.
