Although theirs was not the lowest price I received, I selected Clem Electric to install new lighting and a dimmer switch in my basement because of the estimate's completeness and obvious knowledge of the work required. Joe arrived on time and his work was done in a neat and professional manner. He was always courteous and considerate while working.

Mr. Clem was prompt, he came out within hours of our first call, and diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the issue! I'd recommend him to anyone, anytime!

His name is Joe Clem. He gave me an estimate. He was very punctual, polite and knowledgeable. I got sick and haven't been able to have him do the work but I still plan to use him for the work if he is available. I paid $50 for the service call.

Joe Clem is awesome. He comes back whenever I need him for anything. My house got hit by the storm on the 27th of April. A tree fell on it at 5 o'clock in the morning and it tore the whole front porch down and everything. All the light fixtures and everything were torn off. I thought it would catch fire. So, I called Joe and told him what had happened. He immediately came over and cut the power to the front of the house. He got out early in the morning to check the house. So, he checked everything to make sure it was safe so that it wouldn't catch fire. Then he stayed there for a while with me. He has come back out anytime I have called him for anything. He didn't charge me for the last service. I would use his services in the future too. In fact, I am going to need his services to repair my house.

The job was fine. He came on a Sunday after my call to him earlier that day. I expected to get a voicemail but he took my call, came right on out to look at what my problem was, no fee. He set up an appointment for the next day - Monday. He did call Monday morning and stated that he had forgotten about a job he had on Monday and Tuesday so he had to come out on Wednesday. I hadn't had lights in my bathroom for a week so, I could go a couple more days. His work was good and lower than he estimated on Sunday. I would recommend him. I would use him again.

Clem came out on Thursday, looked at our electrical service (house was built in the 30s), and told us that he would need to purchase a license from the city, and pull a permit to do the job. The electrical service was disconnected Friday morning, he replaced the meter box, added an outside cutoff, and ran a new conduit to the inside electrical panel. The bedroom circuits were replaced with GFI circuit breakers. The work was done and inspected by Friday afternoon, and the power was turned back on Saturday afternoon. Overall we were pleased with the work performed. Clem tried to keep our costs low with the materials used while still complying with the electrical code.

This is a 1935 year old 2 story home and when I bought it burglars had broken in to the basement stripping copper and pipes and we thought just cutting the electrical lines. They had also stole the air units from outside. After looking around I knew the house had not been re-wired even though I was told it had been. Mr. Clem came in and did a inspection, then he took me around to show me everything. They had not just cut the wires in the basement they had pulled them out of the walls from upstairs. After that he was going to do an estimate and we also needed to get the city inspector out to go ahead and look at things that Mr. Clem had found and get his take on things and also see if there was anything else code required that Mr. Clem had missed and this was going to have to be a total re-wire job of the entire house. As promised we met with the city inspector who spoke highly of Mr. Clem and did a tour again. The inspector added a few things he felt would be good to do and after that we went over his rough estimate and yes it was a lot of money but it was a very good price compared to other amounts quoted me and it also had extra in the estimate such as wiring one room for computers and several ceiling fans. We agreed on the estimate and he let me pay in installments which help tremendously. Mr. Clem and his team were awesome and I have zero complaints. During this time he had the keys to my house and knew my alarm code. In fact I have seen him recently for some more work in 2011. And to me in this day and time the fact that I can trust him with my keys to my home is saying a lot about his character. Also how many companies do you find today that do work for you and when you need them to come back out and redo something that they do it in a timely manner or do it at all, Anytime I've needed him to come back out he doesn't hesitate to do so as quick as he can. It's hard to find the kind of service Mr. Clem can provide for you.

Mr. Clem came out very promptly, as we were experiencing power outage due to a broken fuse. He gave us an estimate, set a time to fix it, came exactly when he was supposed to and charged exactly what he estimated. Great experience all around. It was costly, but less that many of the other estimates I saw for the same work.

Joe is very professional. He came to our business and went right to work. Fixed the problem and charged us very reasonably. I highly recommend his work.

He was excellent and up front with his price. He took his time to make sure he did everything right. He found the problem.

Our house is nearly 100 years old. I called Mr. Clem last Friday and he came to look at the problem this Tuesday. He arrived about 10 minutes early. He examined the light swtich, outlets, and fuse box and quickly identified and repaired the problem. He also looked at another outlet we've had problems with and repaired that. It took about an hour to fix both. Joe was courteous and very pleasant to deal with. I recommend him highly.

He asked great questions on the phone and was able to tell me about how much it would be. We scheduled the time and he came as planned after calling me while on the way to say so. He was able to sort out a few issues quickly, was helpful in explaining what he'd be doing. The final charge was what we'd discussed on the phone, he was always courteous and up front in manner.

What a pleasant transaction! I called Mr. Clem a day before the work was done. For my first contact, I left a voice mail, and he responded within minutes. I was expecting several days or more of a wait between scheduling the work and actually seeing him as good reliable professionals are in demand. He offered to do the work the same day I called, yet was totally flexible and agreed to come the following day as that worked better for me. He arrived promptly for the actual services, and he worked efficiently. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely use Mr. Clem in the future as additional needs arise.

They were wonderful. They were prompt and they were professional. They even took care of getting an inspector for the work they had done. They took care of all the scheduling with the inspector. When the power company turned off the power late, they still got the job done on time.

We were very pleased with the service. Joe Clem and his assistant were very professional at all times, they were reliable, punctual, and considerate. We found them very easy to work with. We will be having the whole house rewired later this summer and will probably ask them to do this.

When I called them for service, they told me I only had to wait 2 days. After performing the work, I was very satisfied. The man who did the service was very professional and he was quick to do the job. He was in and out after about an hour. I would also recommend them to all of my friends and family.

They did a great job and I was impressed with the work. The price was reasonable with the amount of little tings that had to be done. It didn t take that much time, but it took a lot of concentration and hard work. I was pleased.

Joe Clem is the nicest man I employ. He has been my exclusive electrician for a decade and a half and has never failed to do an excellent job in all that time. This job took him a complete day to finish and every thing he did has work perfectly. He is also good a cleaning up after him some thing very few electricians is concerned with.
