First, my credit card was charged twice for the initial deposit and no one informed me of it. I just happened to check my account and noticed the discrepancy. I called and spoke with David and he explained that he, as well as Sarah in the office, had run my card inadvertently. He apologized and stated that the additional charge had since been reversed and each thought the other had contacted me about it. I told him that was fine...just wanted to make sure it was taken care of. Next, on the day of installation, all but three of my windows were completed although my husband had paid the bill in full. I called and spoke with the owner, Steve Thackerson, to inquire as to why the three windows were not completed and was told that the tall ladder was needed and they didn't have it because it was at the home of an employee who was off for the day and they would be back sometime the following week to complete the job. I told him that was not my problem and an unacceptable reason to postpone/delay completion of my windows as promised especially considering the fact that payment was made in full. I expected him to make every effort to secure the ladder and complete the job. But instead, he proceeded to go into a tirade with me and told me that no one could even see through those top windows and they were and quot;just blindsand quot; that would only take about fifteen minutes to put in whenever he was able to come back and do it. He asked me did I want him to come back with the regular ladder and kill himself attempting to put up blinds in windows that no one could even see through. At that point, I did not realize he was the owner and I told him that I didn't appreciate his attitude and wanted to speak with his manager. He proceeded to tell me that he was the owner and had been in business for 30 years. I told him that made it even worse that he had such little regard for a customer that he would speak to me that way. I hung up on him. He called back and asked if someone would be at our home that day to complete the job and I told him yes. He came and completed the job, but never apologized for his behavior.

Prompt free estimate for plantation shutters. Gave me suggestions for colors, style, etc. It usually takes 6 weeks to get the shutters back, but it took longer since we were in the middle of the Christmas holidays. The installation went very well. Transformed our den and we really like the new look the shutters give the room.

It went absolutely very well and my husband was happy to have them do the installation. They made sure everything worked and left the area clean. The Installers were courteous and exibited excellent craftmanship.

I wasn't sure if the look was going to be what I wanted after, but when they put the finishing touches on and everything was done, I was elated with the look. This company really knew shutters and they did a great job of helping me select what fit my needs. I haven't and didn't expect to have any problems with the shutters. They are all very solidly hung. I was impressed by all they did. I was not sure what the price was for all.
