I was promised 7-10 days. I called on day 10 and was told there were "working on it right now". I got a call the next afternoon to pick it up. It started like a charm and my issue was corrected. I knew it was going to take awhile as this is the time of year where people are getting their machines ready for the grass cutting season. I can't help but feel my call to them actually got my mower on the work bench. But even with all of that, I would still take my gas engines there.
Description of Work: Had an issue I could not solve, Bob's did. While it was in I had them do a complete tune up and blade sharpening on my push mower.

After having my Z Master sit at Advanced Mower for 5 weeks without even being looked at (finally got them to confess that "commercial operators" get priority over residential customers, I went and picked up my mower and took it to Bob's. They repaired it that afternoon! They have my future business now. If you are a residential customer in need of service, do not take it to Advanced Mower, they will put you off and will not be up front with you about what they are doing concerning scheduling. Thanks Bob's for being an ethical repair and service shop.

I used the pressure waher the next day after picking up from Bob's. It did not run well. When I checked the oil the fluid did not look like oil as it was clear and seemed to be some type of other fluid. I returned to Bob's and representative had a surprised reaction when he checked the oil but made no comment other than we will check it out. When I picked it up the second time they started it to show me it was running. I used it the next day and it preformed well until it got hot. It would not crank when hot. Returned to Bob's again and picked it up the third time. It still will not run after getting hot and Bob's are not taking responsible.
Description of Work: Requested Bob's Power Equipmrnt to replace the cranked oil pan on my gas pressure washer.

They are knowledgeable and reliable. They do what they have quoted and they call if they have to do something else. Their prices are reasonably fair. They are certainly not inexpensive but it is a fair value.
Description of Work: I've used Bob's Power Equipment 2 or 3 times in the last couple of weeks. I've bought several pieces of stuff there and they have also done service.

Pleasant and efficient.
Description of Work: Had a part problem w/ a Husky generator. Guy at the counter took a look, and realized I had the wrong bushing for the fuel tank line. He brought the right one out from the back...problem solved. Took less than 5 minutes.

They are an authorized Honda dealer. Overall I was satisfied. It was still under warranty. It was a bad time of the year to have to have my lawn mower repaired. They took me in right away but it took them 3 weeks to get it fixed. I took it over and they took it out of my car. I have the top of the line push mower. I had problems pulling the lawn mower back when I pushed it to the wall and I asked Bob's to check it out and they ignored it. I emailed Honda and they told me to take it to Bob's and they would discuss it with them. I ended up getting another mower to do the trim work.
Description of Work: I used Bob's Power Equipment to fix the power belt for my self-propelling lawn mower.

Since it's the dead of summer I called to find out how much it would cost and how long it would take to service my push lawn mower. I was told $69 plus parts and labor and 7 to 10 days. Two days later I arrive with my mower in the trunk of my 4-door sedan. The handle was folded up so it the trunk would close. The bolts and wing nuts that secure the handle to the base were removed to fold the handles. They were handed to the store's employee. I was told the cost would be about $100 plus any additional parts and would take 10 days to 2 weeks. I questioned the cost and was told that it included the standard service parts. The additional number of days bothered me also but let that go. Ten days go by and I hear nothing so I call. They have looked at my mower and need to order a belt. The part has to be ordered and it will be a couple of days. The next Saturday (about 3 days later, almost 2 weeks total since I'd taken my mower in) I call to check the status. The part is not in but should be in early in the week. No one can tell me if the service had been completed (except for the belt being put on) because the mechanics don't work on Saturday. Apparently they are the only ones that know what's going on with the work orders. Another week 10 days go by until I receive a computerized call advising that my mower is ready. It took 3 weeks for my lawn mower to be serviced. I arrive to pick up my mower and only one of the two sets of wing nuts and bolts that secure the handle to the mower are given back to me. The store employee has no idea where the other could be and doesn't make an effort to look. He is argumentative and accusatory in his responses to my concerns about having the parts returned to me that were brought in with my mower. And as I was waiting to speak with him for the second time about the missing parts, another customer is leaving with the old filter and parts that were replaced tied to her lawn mower. She questions what they are and the same employee explains that many customers want their old parts returned. The old parts replaced on my mower were not returned. The employee did offer to order the wing nut and bolt but at that point I was DONE with Bob's Power Equipment.

It was a great experience. I am new to the area and did not have an personal recommendations. I used Angies List and am most happy with my discovery of Bob's Power Equipment.
Description of Work: I had my lawn mower serviced. They had to replace the blades and attach a new cord for starting the machine. I felt the money spend was well worth it. I beleive I have quite a few more years left on my Snapper.

It was a very positive experience. They did a good job with the repairs. It took about two weeks to do the work, but the reason was because it was in the middle of the summer and that was about the length of time they said it would take to get to my lawn mower.

Took edger in for repair on Monday, was told that it would be a week which was fine. The following Monday I had to call because I had not heard from them. They had not looked at edger yet would look at that day. Got call the following day of repairs needed, I approved. Picked up that afternoon.
Description of Work: My edger would not start. They cleaned carburetor and replaced spark plug on McLane edger.
