Outstanding job all the way through from initial contact, quote, scheduling, job oversight, responsiveness, professionalism,courtesy.

All the work was done in one day and in a very professional manner. They started in the morning and were finished in the afternoon. The old roof was removed and properly removed from the property with no nails or old roofing material left behind. The old chimney and power ventilators were removed, new decking put in those areas, all the decking was inspected for leaks then the ridge vent opening was cut and the rafter problem addressed as well. They new roof was then installed. Everything looks great and our house is much quieter without the hum of power attic ventilators running and the ridge vents seem to do a very good job of removing the heat from the attic.

All the work has been done in a professional manner. Scott and Juan did a great job installing the new deck floor and building the wall and roof systems. By going with a gable roof we are able to use a ridge vent to remove heat from the attic of the screened porch. the ceiling was insulated and a vinyl ceiling installed as was the electrical outlets for outdoor use. The exterior vinyl siding was installed on the gable and soffits and eves. Everything looks great and the vinyl siding helps matched the screened porch with the house. In other words it doesn't look like a add on. It looks like it was originally designed to be a part of the house. Everyone did a great job on this screened in porch and the roof system attached to the existing roof very well and the new roof for both the porch and house tied it all together. Blair did a great job.

They originally came out?around October 2012. They were on time, friendly, and courteous. They went up on the roof to get a good look at what I needed.? Ben Watson gave me a ballpark estimate and told me he would write it up and email to me later.? I received estimates from about four companies and this company was at the higher end of my estimates, but not the highest. I decided I wanted them to do the work and felt confident that they could do a good job.?A couple of weeks later I told Ben that I would be going out of town for the holidays and I was going to wait until January to do the work.? The company was running ads on television for $500 off **OR** 12-month no interest financing in January. I called the office several times?to inquire about getting the $500 off.? I finally talked with Ben when he called me back several days later and he told he that I could only have the 12-month no interest because he had already given me a discount.??I checked the paperwork that he sent and there was no indication on it that I had received any discount and I didn't recall him mentioning a discount during our face-to-face meeting.? I sent him an email stating that I did not want to apply for a loan and would rather have the $500 off.? A few weeks ago (April) he sent an email stating that they would really like to do the job.? I reiterated that I wanted the $500 discount that they are STILL OFFERING TODAY!? He didn't reply to that email.?The company broadcasts a discount on tv but stated I could only have the loan. Not very responsive or professional.

They did excellent work. We were satisfied with the whole house. They were always there to answer your questions. They would bring samples. After they fixed it, two days later we had a storm that blew a hole in it and for a minimal cost someone came out and fixed it. We were happy. Very good quality. Always there on time.

This was one of the smoothest home improvements we have done. Craig Blair did the estimate, arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and polite. We were able to schedule the work to be done at a convenient date and time for us. They did get started a little date on the first day, but still completed the project on time. The two men working on our windows were very polite and careful with our house. There was one tiny glitch - we had ordered the full size screens and they arrived with the half screens. However, this was corrected promptly and would not affect our willingness to use Blair again. We love the new windows! I have already noticed that the AC doesn't need to run as long as it used to, and they look terrific.

It went great! We originally had asked for estimates on some windows, too, but had to defer that. However, we did go ahead with the leaking skylights. They showed up on time, did a very professional job of installation, and completely cleaned up after themselves. The same was true of the chimney cap repaired. The guy noticed that we had a squirrel's nest in there and promised that after we had the chimney cleaned, they would also install some sort of animal guard to help prevent that in the future. There were no additional costs and absolutely no problems. They did an excellent job. I am pleased to also say that after several rains, there have been no leaks with the skylights. Several roofers turned us down for an estimate when I mentioned leaking skylights, but this is apparently one of Blair's specialties.

Labor crew was a total of three, but they finished the roof in one day. Minor damage to gutter guards which was promptly replaced by Blair. I elected to use Blair after they had done such a good job replacing my deck only a few weeks ago.

The entire process went really smoothly, from the bid to the actual work. They had a large crew on-site with a foreman who really knew the roofing process and made sure the work was done professionally. They had the roof done in approximately two days, working long hours each day. The roof looks beautiful, and the work was completed for the price agreed on in the estimate.

From start to finish, all individuals, both on the telephone and in person, were exceptional in professionalism and courtesy. It is getting more difficult to find companies/contractors and craftsman who actually do the work that are customer oriented. Without exception, all the representatives of Blair were top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. While the overall price I was quoted appeared to be a bit high, considering the quality of work and interaction with everyone, I can readily say that the higher price was offset by competency and professionalism, that is, I would rather pay more for quality than to just get a low-ball price. Inferior workmanship and materials is why I had to have my deck replaced after only 8 and a half years. I perceive that the deck built by Blair and their advice about maintaining it will result in a deck that will last many years more than the previous one.

The guy is very professional. He did not push things on me that I didn't need just to make money for himself. He considered our needs.

All rotten wood was replaced and new gutters were installed. All people involved were very professional and the results are great. Over the next year or two, I will need to have additional work done and I will call Blair over anyone else. Thanks especially to Ben Watson.

He was on time, and very polite. The only negative, if considered a negative, was that it took a week longer than expected to get the estimate.

When my husband and I decided to have a new metal roof, windows and siding put on our house, we obtained two estimates. Both estimates were extremely different – the way the work was to be performed – the quality of the materials to be used, the price, etc. After talking to both contractors, my husband was most impressed by Bo Brewster with Blair Building and Remodeling. The way he explained how the work would be performed, and the materials they would use. I took the estimates to work and asked our Facilities Manager to take a look at them. (He manages everything from getting bids on new construction to repairs of all types of older buildings on more than 30 branches in Alabama, Florida & Georgia.) We were already leaning toward Blair and he said that he’d go with them based on their Angie’s List A Rating, the online reputation of Wincore windows and the way they were going to do the work, i.e. on the siding they would cut away the old rotten parts of wood and Masonite siding, put plywood where it had been, then cover that with P/4 insulation and install the siding over that. The other contractor was going to wrap the house and install the siding over the wrap. The contractors that came to our house were nice and professional. The window and siding contractor even came out to the house on Sunday before Christmas to pick up around the house. They did things I did not expect. They covered up the wooden part of our front door which is metal with two metal sidelights but had two 4” x 4” boards in the front and one of them had been chewed up quite a bit by our dogs. They also covered the garage door facings. The price on the estimate/contract is the price we paid for the work. There were no unexpected surprises. The work did take a little longer than expected with all the rain and the Holidays. We were OK with the length of time it took. I think they did an excellent job. Our house looks great and we’ve received many compliments on it. We would definitely use them again.

Overall, Great experience. This company is thorough and professional. Definatley not your typical roofing/repair company. Their representative was polite, well spoken and extremely thorough. Took him about an hour to assess and repair window leak.

They have always been competitive in price, prompt in their service, and gone far beyond what they had to do. They give professional advice on whatever you ask and know their products. If they say they will be there on a certain day and time, they are there unless rain or other weather interferes. They use only the highest quality of materials and explain to you why. After the roofers left, there was NO cleanup that I had to do. They moved what had to be moved and replaced it where it had been. My roof is a moderate to large size with steep gables and the job was completed in 2 days! The crew they sent out was large (7) and they worked 10 hours one day and 8 hours the next day. The expertise of the painter they sent me was second to none. He was professional, worked quietly, but efficiently and completed the work beyond my critical expectations. He even removed a chandelier from a 20 foot ceiling he was painting and replaced it with my new one without charging me extra!! He cleaned up completely behind himself and I did not have to move anything for him to do his work since he moved it all and then put it all back. This might be the most professional company I have ever dealt with and I would unquestionably use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting excellent work for a competitive price.

The experience was very good. They came when they were scheduled and finished within the estimated time frame we had set up.

We contacted Blair roofing the second week in May and made an appointment for someone to come to our house on May 11th. ?I told them we had a very tall house and to bring a tall ladder. ?A man named Dan came late ?without any equipment that I could see and looked at the area under the roof where the leak was and as much of the roof as he could see from the ground.He said he would call us Monday and arrange to come back with a 40 foot ladder. ?He discussed the possibility that we may need a?new roof. ?We never heard from him.On May 25th my husband called Blair again and was told that they had no record of the earlier call or visit but that they would look for he file and call us. ?We still have not heard from them.?On May 25th my husband called Blair again and was told that they had no record of the earlier call or visit but that they would look for he file and call us. ?We still have not heard from them. They put a dent in the wall. They had to fix that. They were really sweet. They were here on time. They were here all day. My mom will never use them again. She's kind of picky.

I think it went very well. I originally called Blair in October but I was not ready to get the work done and was still getting estimates from other companies. Blair was not the cheapest estimate, I received, but it was in the mid-range and offered flexibility of payments. They showed up on time and did the work in one day including the clean up. I had a few questions afterwards about the placement of downspouts and they were very responsive to all of my concerns. Overall I am very pleased.
