We were very pleased with them. They showed up when they said they and they were very responsive when we called them. They showed us why they were doing the things that they were doing. It turned out to be more expensive than we thought but, they gave us the options of the different kinds of wood. They did not just do it and then hike the bill up. I would use them again.

Contacted them by phone after reading Angie's List reviews. Craig Blair promptly came out, met with me, and provided a range of options for replacing a window. Absolutely no pitch for me to buy more than I can afford. I was impressed by the amount of time he spent with me, considering it was a small(ish) job. They ordered my window, stayed in touch, and then promptly installed it when it came in. Installation was 100% neat, professional. Left no trace of having even been there. I'll use them again for sure.

Overall the project went very well.? I would highly recommend Blair without hesitation.? They were very timely and responsive when I had questions/concern.? The project manager (not sure what the job title is?in the construction world) was absolutely awesome!? Unfortunately, he is no longer with Blair but he was really great.? In the two years since we had all the work done, we have been very pleased and do not regret our decision to use Blair.? They actually have a storefront on Valleydale Road which made it nice to actually see in person what the products would look like that we were choosing.? Everyone there is very friendly and helpful.

It took a while, but the work was very good! The workers were great, they were careful about cleaning and very kind.

The process from obtaining a quote until the job was finished was handled professionally and the quality of work was very good. The sales rep thorough in explaining the different products the company offered and answered many questions that helped us decide which siding was best for our house. We had a problem with the window install but the company resolved it without any problem and we were pleased with the end result. I would use this company again.

Blair Remodeling came to our home and gave us an estimate for a new roof. They were very professional and gave us a good estimate, but we received a better estimate from another company. We would certainly call them again if we needed an estimate on remodeling etc.

From start to finish, Blair Remodeling earned an A+ for their handling of the steep and complicated roof on our historic home. The work was meticulously executed and completed within the estimated timeframe. The workmen were friendly and professional and left no debris whatsoever. After the final walk-through, and after we had paid the total bill of $15,000, we discovered that two of our copper gutters were slightly awry. Blair returned to correct that problem and made sure we were completely satisfied. Throughout the process, we had ongoing contact with Kyle Acker & Mickey Acker, who, respectively, managed and supervised the project. Our corner-lot home is highly visible, and we have had many compliments on the new roof, with its architectural shingles. (Two years earlier, Blair had installed a new roof on our garage, and that project was completed with the same excellent results.)

Sales person did not have that typical sales pitch. He seemed more like a neighbor showing what worked for him. He knew not only the product but the process involved. Very courteous. He gave us an estimate of when the work would be done and he was right on the money. Workers were quick but thorough. Very efficient and clean. Didn't mind working around my daughter's yip-yap dog. They politely asked before doing anything outside the norm. Left things nice and clean.

The salesperson was very knowledgeable and did not have that "sales" pitch which was refreshing. He showed up on time and answered all questions. He gave us an approximate installation date and told us what to expect so everything would run smoothly. The installers called giving us enough time to prepare. Installers were clean, courteous and professional. The 12 windows were finished in a day and a half - which was ahead of schedule. I was impressed with this since I knew (being a better than average diy'er) that a few of the metal windows would present a challenge. Although they finished a lot quicker than I anticipated, it was not a rushed job. They did a good job and did it right. They were also very friendly with the dogs. Windows are great both for energy and sound.

They did a great job no problem at all. They were efficent and gave me some suggestions on how to beautify the cabinets.

Very simply, there were no surprises. They started when he said they would, worked quickly and expertly, and cleaned up afterwards in the evening. It cost exactly what he told us it would and looks just like he designed it. What else could we ask for?

One part of the service was good; the electrical part was not good. They did not fix things to my satisfaction. I didn’t have any problem with the price. They are a remodeling company, but their specialty is roofing. I understand that their roofing part is really good, but I will never let them touch my electrical again.

It was superb, A+, great work. I'm going to have them look at doing another addition that I'm working on. It's for inclusion of a garage, they'll going to come and see me in April for them working on that. What stands out is their quality, the workmanship and professionalism. I was absolutely blown away by the cleanliness of the job site considering they took off an old existing roof and put a new one on. They got almost everyone of the nail out of they yard. The appearance of the workers are clean and overall is a great experience. They got in and out in about 2 days and it was for a 3 day job.

Craig Blair came out to give an estimate. He was very courteous and knowledgeable in helping us decide what to order based on our needs and price criteria. The install date was rather open ended due to installer backlog and ordering time for the windows. I was told it would probably be around three weeks until installation could be scheduled. After three weeks I thought that I would I hear back from them on the installation date but I had to call them to find out where the process stood. All in all, I am very satisfied with the the installed product. The installers arrived promptly as scheduled and were very professional and courteous. I did not compare prices with other companies so I don't know if Blair is higher or lower than others.

Mr. Blair was very courteous and informative when he came to do the estimate and the crew that did the work was also very professional and courteous. The work was done well and on time. I will use this company again for future home improvements

Requested quote from Blair Remodeling. Craig was a few minutes late to our home for the consulting/quote but he was very knowledgable. Didn't attempt to hard sell window product and answered all my questions. Actual quote for 20 windows took a couple days longer than expected but very reasonable price. Will most likely use them for our window replacements.

I called left message. My wife called left message. Over 2 weeks and no one has bothered to call us back.

I was very pleased with the quality of work. If I have a complaint, it would be that the finishing touches took a while to complete. Small things, but those are the things that were a little difficult to get a worker back out to complete. Blair was very knowledgeable and I would definitely call this company again to work on my home.

The windows arrived with only priming paint. WE contacted Blair who scheduled the painter to come out and paint the interior and exterior after installation. Apparently the miscommunications was when the windows were needed by the painter to be completely painted prior to installation. Installation was smooth, painting was smooth but becasue it was performed over multiple days and not to what we had been told - I was disappointed in the overall service.

The initial install and work was fine, but almost two years later, we began to have serious flooding problems in our sunroom. Blair was paid to rebuild the gutter system on the sunroom after a tree fell on it. When I contacted them about it, the representative refused to acknowledge that they did the work. I might have as well been talking to a brick wall. It was two weeks of total frustration. It ended in him coming out to my house to continue to no listen and tell me I was wrong. Total bluster and refusal to help. If you hire this company, they will have subcontractors do the work and will not back it up if something goes wrong. Do not use them. They could have done a simple $300-400 repair, and I would have been completely content. Instead, I am now a very unhappy customer and absolutely would not recommend them to anyone. This is very, very bad business. Not wise to anger a customer over $400 who can end up costing multiple thousands from bad recommendations.

From first calling Blair Remodeling, the firm was responsive and professional. The estimate for replacing my deck was reasonable and at the low end of the four estimates I received. The work was completed much quicker than I expected. The old deck was demolished and hauled off in one day. The new deck, made with pressure-treated wood, was replaced in two and a half days. The clean-up was very good. The deck looks great and looks much better than I expected. It is much stronger and beefier than the old one. The overall experiance dealing with Blair personnel was very good. All the contractors I had a chance to talk with were very polite, professional and informative. My contact at Blair kept me informed at each step along the way from the estimate to emailing me the final inspection document. I will definately use them again for other remodeling jobs.
