It took about a 1-2 weeks to get on their schedule - not unusual. Once they came and assessed the situation, they sent a proposal. After we accepted the proposal it was about a week or so before the work started. After they were finished, about 10 days, I invited them to come back and review the work. They were pleased. A bill was emailed and was less than the estimate, as they were able to use the existing tile holders. They also took out all the old lighting and replaced it recessed indoor flood lights. All this was complicated by the fact that the ceiling is a dropped ceiling - since this was a cement basement all the wiring and duct work had to be worked around. They did a magnificent job. My wife and I could not be happier.

Fantastic service. We will likely use this contractor to fix our eaves and gutters in the future.

I was very pleased with the results. Workers showed up on time. Quality caulk job, which was h****** the brick. Cleaned up work area each day. Even after being paid, Blair quickly responded to a couple of minor issues with the windows and made it right. No follow-up required.

New roof required replacement of boards, picked up as well as can be expected afterwards. Siding went very well and pleased. Windows are working well and pleased. Gutters are leaf guard and are working well except for on spot that leaks over an entry stair. Removed a door and replaced with window, replaced a window with door per our request, worked out well but they did not finish off the interior insulation, wallboard and trim. Noticable savings on heating and air conditioning.

We had some windows that were original to the house we had built. The original windows were just poor quality and they haven't been working right and some of them on the front of the house were rotting away. So we had several companies come out and give us quotes, we decided to go with Blair. The put in the new low?E glass on our windows. On the windows that were in particularly bad shape, we replaced the entire window. And, on some other windows that were not as bad we just replaced the sashes. They did all the installation, they did all the painting. On the inside and out, they had to repaint an entire wall around the window to get it to match. In other words when you take off all the trim on the inside and you put it back on and the paint is just not quite right. So they went ahead and painted the wall around the window to match the colors. They handled all that and they painted the outside. They had a painting crew that come out they were particularly good at what they did with the painting. They were very good and very careful. The windows, after they installed them, some of them were still leaking air, they were very good about coming out and adjusting them and doing what we asked them to do until we were satisfied with it. They didn't just put them in and disappear and you never see them again. They were very good about making sure we were happy with the way they were and that everything was fixed the way it was supposed to be and done right. Putting in new window sashes is an imperfect operation because you are working with the existing frame of the window and it might be warped and such. They did a very good job. We have more windows to replace and we will probably use them again.

From the horrendous task of removing the 1990's acoustic-tile ceilings that had been added in my kitchen, den, and adjacent bathroom. . . down to providing the perfect grid for my new, deep stainless steel sink, Blair's designer and contractor handled every move with perfection. I could set my watch by the planned arrival time of all of the workmen--drywall team, electricians, plumbers, painters, millwork team, tile workers, etc. And with the arrival of each new work team, the Blair contractor/manager came to introduce them and go over details. Plus, he came daily just to be sure all was going as planned. Whenever a problem cropped up with this latest remodel, Blair immediately rectified it. I would not dream of remodeling any home without Blair doing it. On a previous job (my new roof) when a problem occurred due to the home's "creative" add-on from probably the 1920's, Blair was immediately responsive and rushed to fix it + honored the warranty without my even mentioning it.

We contracted Blair Remodeling to dismantle and rebuild our deck. We got 5 quotes and although Blair was not the least expensive they were not the highest either. Dan was excellent to work with and very knowledgeable. He showed up on time and even returned a phone call while he was on vacation. They actually worked with us to meet an accelerated time line and delivered the project on time and as quoted. The crew that showed up to do the work was on time and the quality of work was excellent. We had one small misunderstanding about the design of the stairs and, when it was discovered, everyone bent over backwards to make sure it was exactly how we wanted it. We were extremely impressed with Dan's professionalism and his desire to make sure everything was perfect; just the way we wanted it. It was a great experience and we will definitely use Blair again.

We got about 4 different quotes. They were very professional and my wife liked them but their time schedule did not fall in line with ours.

Came out when they said and did the work when they said they would. I have no complaints. I don't recall the exact cost, I just know they did everything right, including clean-up and it looks great 2 years later.

Arrived when they said they would, fit and finish was great. I was really impressed with the completed job.

Dan was an excellent rep for Blair remodeling We spoke the first day and discussed all repairs needed. Within 2 days he had an estimate of cost and a time frame for doing all the work. Job was completed in the time frame set. Dan met with me at the completion of the job and walked through all the repairs and made sure they were all done to my satisfaction

They did an excellent job and was way less expcensive than the others that quoted this job.

I contacted Blair for a roofing repair job and scheduled an appointment with their receptionist. The day of the appointment, I was contacted by the repairman 6 hours prior to the scheduled time asking if he could "come on and look at the job". I was unable to leave work and we agreed to meet at the original time scheduled. He never showed and did not return my phone calls. I called Blair 2 additional times with no resolution or call back.

Their workmanship was good and efficient. We had some issues with punctuality of getting the prjects started when they said they would but once started they it went quickly.

They quoted about $25000 for remodeling the bathroom. We are getting it done for around $10000 and it is going beautifully. We got three estimates. They didn’t do anything wrong but they were too expensive. That was the only reason that we didn’t go with them. Their responsiveness and professionalism were good. They were informative and they sent me an email.

Awesome!! Billy's guys were absolutely great. Very punctual and professional and really just nice guys.. The work they did was awesome. Not only are my new windows much more efficient than the old ones they look incredible! I had no idea new windows could make such a huge difference. A testament to this is my AC went out about a month ago and it was mid 90's and humid (central Alabama) and my home did not get above 79 degrees that day. I was blown away. I would recommend Blair Remodeling to anyone, anytime. If you want quality work and a quality product, look no further.

They did a great job! They're very professional and quick with their work. It only took a few days to do the job. They didn't leave any mess behind either.

They sent two people and it took a day. After they put them in a couple of the windows wouldn't open right because they were kind of tight. The windows have numbers on them, they reordered them and replaced them the next week without any extra charge. I'd tell my friends that they would get total professionalism.

They were fine. Their timeliness stood out. They used quality products. They were always there when the weather permitted them. I just don’t have any complaints about them.

My first experience with a major project and it was terrible. Took way longer that promised especially for a project for my 86 yo Mom, who we brought in to live with us. They were uninformed on local building codes that caused added delays and cost. I would not use for roofing (which I later found out was their primary business) or anything related to my home ever again. Lesson learned

Installation went great! They showed up on time and were very friendly. Got the job done in I think 3 days. Cleaned up the place better than it was before they got there.
