Description of Work: I called and talked with secretary several time but no one showed up to view the job site.

Description of Work: We hired Blair Remodeling for three main projects, but they were also kind enough to do several smaller jobs that we had on our "to do" list, which made it very convenient for us. The three larger projects were to demolish and rebuild a deck (half open, half screened), re-tile a shower and floor in the master bath, and demolish and rebuild the front steps (brick), which had sunk several inches from the original height. Smaller projects included installing some new light fixtures, repairing an electrical outlet, replacing a concrete sidewalk with a stone walkway, replacing fencing and gutters damaged from a falling tree, installing crown molding in bedroom, installing a new storm door and grading the back yard. All of the work requested was completed in a timely manner, and the coordination of materials and labor was excellent. The project manager (Dan) did a fabulous job of keeping us informed of any schedule changes, and of verifying that the work met our specifications. We didn't realize that there were so many decisions to be made (tile design, plumbing fixtures, shower doors, deck layout, outdoor lighting, etc.), but Dan guided us through them all and provided so much helpful information. The team that rebuilt the deck and re-tiled the bath were so knowledgeable and talented; their years of experience were definitely reflected in the finished product. And the team that completed the brickwork on the front did a superb job...their work has made a dramatic improvement in the overall appearance of the front of our home. We couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of the work that Blair Remodeling did for us, and we will definitely contact them for any future home improvement projects.

Description of Work: I needed roof and Chimney repairs. They came out, reviewed the work and said they would email an estimate with some options. I called back three times requesting their estimate and have heard nothing in more than a month. If they are not interested in repairs they should remove this service from their listing.

Description of Work: The Blair salesman came to do the estimate for the job. The appointment was for Tuesday morning. He was on time and courteous. He told me he could have the estimate by Friday but I told him I had several others to see so Friday-week would be fine, Never heard from him again.

Description of Work: I contacted this company to get a quote on repair work. After speaking with them, they never followed through in giving me the quote. Disappointing and unreliable.

Description of Work: Blair replaced our roof. Their pricing was in line with all other quotes. The roof was replaced in one day.

Description of Work: From start to finish, everything this company did was A+. --Two people (a company manager & a construction supervisor) came to inspect the problems with our garage roof and provided detailed information about the cause of the leakage and other problems. --The followed up with a reasonable estimate, plan of action, and timetable. --All went according to plan with no surprises and no delays. --The two workers who actually did the work were supervised almost the entire day of work by the original construction supervisor, and all were very competent. --We added a side project of repainting the garage ceiling and walls, and the company followed through on that a few days later with A+ delivery and workmanship. --As this company does a lot more than unexciting garage-roof repair, I will be calling on them for larger projects in my home, such as my future kitchen remodel.

Description of Work: Blair Remodeling repaired my chimney a few months ago so I decided to hire them to replace a few of my windows, do some drywall repairs, painting and put more insulation in my attic. Once again, they were a great group of folks to work with. Ben, the salesman and crew were always on time, polite, respectable and professional.

Description of Work: They were polite, responded quickly to my inquiry, were professional, and I think they would have done a very good job, but, their bid was 32% higher than the contractor I chose. I was very satisfied by the result I got from the company I chose.

Description of Work: We have had our new roof installed: they called, said they would be here at 7 am to begin and by 705 were actively working on our roof!! They had cleaned up and insured no nails left- by 1pm! We were really impressed! So far, they have also blown insulation throughout whole house, replaced 3 ceilings with sheet rock and cleaned up amazingly well after themselves! They are scheduled to complete the Sheetrock work, paint and put all the furniture back- which they moved! We did not have to do Any of the moving! We are so pleased with BLAIR Roofing and Remodeling!

Description of Work: Service so far was an estimate. Due to other unforeseen events, we have been unable to proceed with the project. When the time is right, we will call them and engage them in the project. The project (which could not be found in your listing) was replacing a dropped down ceiling and replacing the ceiling lighting.

Description of Work: Roof damaged by hail in May 2009. Tore off old shingles and reroofed with high quality grade shingles. Workers were prompt and courteous-clean up done daily and final clean up was amazingly thorough. Highly recommend this company.
