Beth is a wonderful designer/decorator, and was helpful, supportive, friendly, warm, enthusiastic.... It was great to work with her! Over the space of nearly two years she has made several visits to our home, and each time has been fantastic to work with. I believe our home is much more livable and welcoming than it was before she arrived. We are so grateful for her work! Beth loves people and she loves what she does. She has a palette of colors and a phone list of support workers in every field: landscaping, painting, carpentry. We have enjoyed working with her, and would hire her again!

Beth is extremely easy to work with. She provided great guidance on how to not only design our living room and dining room but helped us contact the right people for the job. She was always right there ensuring that the work was done properly and in a timely manner. She also responded to all of my million emails and phone calls very promptly and was always very helpful. We have many more projects in the works and she will be the first one we call.

Beth is a delight to work with. She returned my initial call in a timely manner and spent a good amount of time getting to know me and the style that I like. We hired her to help us with the selection of furniture and rugs for our new house. She told me about a furniture store that I was unaware of and I found all the pieces there for my family room and dining room. She helped me pick out material for 2 chairs in my family room (because honestly, I had no clue what would look good) and suggested a custom rug that would clean well seeing as I have a dog that is not all the time a 'good' dog:). She was there to look out for my best interest when a delivery didn't go as expected. She was very easy to get in contact with whenever I had a question or concern. I will be in touch with her again soon to complete the look in my house with selection of wall art and accessories. So far, I have had many compliments on what I have now in my house and it isn't a finished project yet! I look forward to working with her again soon.

I worked with her for several months. I thought her pricing was excellent. She is very professional, and was extremely helpful, and she took me down to the furniture store on New years' Eve. We were there picking our furniture until 10 o clock. I would use her again. I couldn't be more pleased.

Beth's keen eye for color, texture and spacial elements brought a high level of comfort and satisfaction to our finished home. Beth's enthusiasm for her work and her understanding approach to clients' preferences eased us comfortably through the selection process. She is a delight to know and work with. We recommend her with no reservations.

Beth did a fantastic job on our new home! We decided to consult with a decorator because we learned from past experience that it costs more to guess on colors, selections, matching, etc. and then later pay a lot to redo things. She met with us at some of the various subcontractor shops to assist us in making sure that everything matched and went well with our craftsman style home. She was wonderful at determining which products and colors would work best in our more earthy and casual style house that we desired. When it came to picking out the interior trim colors, she suggested a chocolate color door with off white trim which did not initially sound right to me, but after we went online to look at some samples, we really liked the idea and went with it and love it! The only thing that went wrong was that the shutter company that she suggested ended up quoting us over double the price and time to make and install the shutters of three other companies on Angie's List. We ended up going with one of the other companies because of the huge cost and time difference. She charged us $75 per hour for her services which is a reasonable rate, and I liked the free first hour Angie's List coupon. Beth Richardson is not just excellent in her trade of work, but she is gifted in interior and exterior decorating.

Beth has been fantastic. Very professional and personable. She is making my redecoration project so much fun due to her enthusiasm for what she does. She quickly seemed to learn my tastes in decorating, and has directed me to items that were exactly what I'd had in mind. Due to her knowledge of design as well as options available at several local furniture and carpet stores, this process is going very quickly. In the past, it has taken me a year to find an item I want! Beth has also put me in contact with professions that can help with moving/painting/etc. Because of agreements she has with some of the companies I've made purchases from, I have yet to owe her a penny. I know that once my current project is complete, I will use her for future decorating needs. I've already told friends about her! I'd highly recommend Beth to anyone looking for an interior decorator.

Beth was amazing! I was new to the area and beth came the same day we talked on the phone. She is an incredibly talented decorator. She takes to time to understand your needs and knows exactly where to go to make purchases. Beth has an incredible memory and is extremely detail oriented. She has a great presence & energy to get the job done. I will continue to use her and have already recommended her.

Beth is great about keeping in touch via text, email and phone. She is very dependable, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is nice to have someone provide great advice and also help keep costs down with her suggestions. I am not through having Beth help me and know I will enjoy having her help me make other improvements. She is the kind of decorator I have been hoping for!

My initial call to Beth was a distress call! I was unhappy with a wall color I had chosen, and was feeling unsure of what color to try next. I called Beth, left a message, and got a call back quickly. She was able to come by my home for a quick consult that day since she was already in the vicinity, and help me select a color for my walls. After I got the wall painted, I scheduled with her to come back for an extended consulting session. Beth is wonderful, and so much fun, easy to work with, has a great eye, and understands quickly how to work with your personal style and budget. She was great to help us work with what we have and make the best of it. She also advised me on lighting fixture changes. We are very happy with everything we have done that she recommended, and I get compliments on the colors all the time. I would love to work with Beth again. She is great!

It was a great experience. She made the process easy and fun. She really got to know me and my family and gave us a wonderful new look to our home we are enjoying every day.

Beth came promptly after our phone call and gave us great advice and supplied us with everyone to do the repairs and refurbishing. This was invaluable help since we moved here from another state. Beth is definitely a one-stop shop if you need it. We felt her advice was perfect for us. She is absolutely delightful to work with and she works very quickly. We couldn't have asked for more. We look forward to working with her again when our repair phase is completed.

She comes with a network of people. She also had people hanging up the art work in my house. She has someone that can do floral arrangements. She is a one stop shop.

We were extremely pleased with Beth's recommendations; she's very knowledgable with a good eye for detail. When the painting is done, I'm going to have her back out to talk about accessories. I highly recommend Beth!

She was punctual, sweet, and very professional. We both had conflicts but still wanted to do this on a Saturday. She called me couple of times to work it out. She arrived right on time. She had her color books with her and she made suggestions based on her experience and our desires. She was very knowledgable. She even suggested alternative colors for master bedroom and bathroom. We bought sample colors for all the colors and made our decision based on how those colors look on different walls at different times of the day. We ended up using one of the bedroom colors as our exterior color but we are very happy with the overall results. Thanks Beth! We will definitely would like to work with her in the future.

Beth spent an hour looking at the house, and did give us several suggestions. We were glad to get a professional opinion on the amount of money we should expect to spend. She also recommended we not do a couple projects we were considering, as it would not be necessary compared to other equivalent houses in the Birmingham area. I think we should have let her go through the house herself, though, instead of walking with her and discussing what we already had planned; she probably would have given more suggestions had we not been bombarding her with our ideas!! Overall, we definitely were happy that Beth came in to help us, and I intend to have her to stage our house when we get ready to sell.

I am divorced and my ex-wife and I divided up all the furniture and accessories in the home. I kept the house, but obviously it was only halfway furnished. Plus it had been more than 10 years since many of the rooms and trim work had been painted. I needed an interior decorator to help me refresh it. I found out about Ms Richardson on Angie's List and contacted her for an appointment. She arrived on time, and coincidentally at the same time my house painter was here estimating the job. She was able to work with the painter to discuss the changes. Ms. Richardson was very knowledgeable about color schemes, styles, furniture groupings, carpeting, and accessories. She also helped me understand and determine what my favorite interior style was. I had no idea what the difference was between the Traditional, Modern or Contemporary styles, :-). I was also very impressed that she was so responsive and returned my calls and email in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Beth for any home decorating needs.

She has been responsive. When she was available I wasn't, and when I was available she wasn't. I travel a lot, and it is usually my issue. She e-mailed me two weeks ago and told me she was going to be out of town. That was good because I would be too. I need some help with colors. Some people are good at that, and I'm not. She told me she would give me the up-front evaluation for free. She's been great! We just haven't been able to get together yet. I am going to use her unless she comes in and gives me some huge price that I can't afford.
