Description of Work: I cannot recall the date when I last called Bag Pipe Plumbing, but I have called Mike Bagby several times for a variety of plumbing problems in my house. He has repaired faucets when other plumbers told me they could not be repaired, but needed to be replaced.

Description of Work: I had a small leak in my gas line supplying my hot water heater. I called Mike and he told me that he would be a week or more before he could get to me. Given that it was a gas leak, I knew I could not wait that long. Mike (and here is where it was such a refreshing experience) knew my need to expedite this and gave me the name of several other people that could help me out that he knew and would "vouch" for. When I called Mike, he was incrediby polite and more than helpful. If I ever have a larger project, or a project that can wait, I will definitely call Mike again. It was a refreshing experience in this day of "me" in which we seem to live.

Description of Work: I've used Mike on three different occasions. He ran a gas line for a new stove, put in a hot water heater, and replaced a pressure reduction valve. Very prompt. Very reasonable. Very professional. I will use him again.

Description of Work: Mike advised re sink drain problem and we are awaiting parts from Price Pfister. He also helped with toilet flushing problems. He is very prompt, courteous and capable. I would highly recommend.

Description of Work: mike assessed our gas range, which had an odd smell. this was determined to be a gas leak, which he fixed promptly. We have not had any more isses with it. He also gave us helpful advice regarding some remodeling we are considering, including referrals. He's done great work for many friends and for my parents. We wouldn't go to anyone else!

+ -1 moreWe have used them for years. I don't remember the cost of the service. There were no problems or issues. We have been using them for years because they are reliable and smart. The guy thinks about the problem well. He is pretty good about cleaning up after himself and explaining the issue to us. In the past we have had some very complicated problems that he has solved well for us. The quality of work and service is superb. Their punctuality is very good.
Description of Work: Bag Pipe Plumbing came out and repaired some leaking faucets.

Description of Work: Unclogged drain and repaired faucet. I've used Bagpipe plumbing on 3 separate occasions, and the work was always done promptly and right the first time. I have recommended this company to friends and all agree he's excellent! He also recommends good people to do other work, i.e., electrical, and painting, and without exception they have been excellent! There's not a better plumber in Birmingham.

+ -1 moreI have used Mike Bagby for my plumbing problems for years and can't imagine calling anyone else. He responds immediately, takes care of the problem promptly (and, sometimes, magically), and refers me to specialists if the problem is one that he is not equipped to do. Over the years I think he has fixed every toilet, unclogged every drain, found and repaired a leak in my yard, and talked me through minor problems over the phone.
