This is the worst company there bad from the top to the bottom owner Jeff Franklin this man is a liar a d a crook this company did a install at my and damaged more than they fixed charged for parts not provided and work not and Mr Franklin said he stands behind their work but he will not this will steal form and when something goes wrong with there subpar work you are on your own

My home warranty company sent AA out to check our AC unit, which was not blowing cool air. When Chase, the tech, came out he looked at the unit & came back in to tell me it needed to be replaced. He told me that if I go through my warranty company it would take 2-4 months & who knows what type of unit they'll send. He then told me that if I go through them that he could get the unit installed right away & we could make easy payments of less than $100/month. He did nothing else to the unit. Chase wrote up the problem to the warranty company in such a way as to make them refuse the repair/replacement. He then sent me a quote of over $13k for the replacement of the heater/AC (heat pump combo). Since we'd just bought this house 2 months earlier I reached out to our realtor to get the inspection report done by the seller. He sent that & brought out a guy he worked with before who owns his own HVAC company. Dave, the owner/operator, checked the system out & told me, yes, the compressor is going out but it's also out of coolant. He then filled it up & added a stop leak which has been kind of working so far. Chase never even checked the coolant. Dave also quoted me $7500 for replacement (with my military discount), almost half AA quoted. If I could give negative stars I would. Avoid Autumn Air at all costs, because it will cost!!

Brian and his crew did a pretty good job of installing a garage fan in our garage upper wall. It works properly, but it took a long time to get the entire job finished and many phone calls and reminders.

I made appointment TWICE and waited for a serviceman but they never showed or called to cancel either time. They seemed to be pleasant enough on the phone.

It was good. They came here, they were very diligent, and did an exceptional job.

Went very well. Happy with the work.

We were very pleased with skip. Highly recommend.

On Friday July 6 I called Autumn Air to see if they could repair my AC. I spoke to Casey at 10:16 AM. He was very nice and said they could get to my house between 2 PM-3PM (today!!). He said that the technician would call me if he would be early. Sure enough Charles called me to tell me he would be early. He arrived at 2:45 PM, diagnosed, repaired and was on his way at 4:13 PM. Charles was very efficient, friendly and repaired my AC perfectly!

On time, quality work done in a friendly manner

Charles came out and did a thorough inspection of my unit. After his inspection came in and sat down with me and went over his findings. My unit was in need of good cleaning and a contactor. I told Charles to go ahead and do what needed to be done. In no time Charles had my house cooling again. He was very professional and kind. I will most definitely use Autumn Air again.

It went horrendous. Right from the start it was a total sales pitch about a $119 Maintenance Plan, talking immediatly about how old my unit is, who keeps my unit clean, the possibilities of total replacement with anew unit. The Tech could not ascertain what my actual issue was...one minute it needs freon for over $300...next it "may" need to "Replace coil in existing air handler" for $1700...and then the grand finale..."it needs a compressor at a cost of $2600!" Yet, there was no diagnosis of what caused my compressor to supposedly be non-functional! I passed on all this foolishness and deception and paid them what I should not and that was $59 for pathetic and unprofessional service call! I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAP! Enter Tim Cottles owner of Cottles Heating & Air of Athens, AL. Mind his business is 121 miles away from my house! He is referred to by my 83 yr old Father. I tell him about the circus I just went through and he laughs and says, "what did they say caused the compressor to be non-functional?" My response, "they didn't say!" He said I will leave at 4:30 am and be down here as fast as possible. Tim pulls up at 7:15am...jumps out in less than 5 minutes shows me two blown capacitors. Goes to parts house and is back within 20 minutes with new parts. In less than 35 total minutes my unit is purring like a kitten. NO COMPRESSOR ISSUES & NO COIL ISSUES....PERIOD! Tim puts in 1 lb of freon...TOTAL COST including a 242 round trip?? $300 CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am out on Autumn Air & I am DONE with Angie's List! BUT...I do want my money back not because I am destitute...but because it was not earned and for the horrendous experience! $59 for the lousy service call & $215 for Haier Portable A/C that I had to buy to carry us until we got a competent and I do have my receipts and the ridiculous quotes as well!

Tech was very professional. He was very thorough. Sat down with me and told me outcome of inspection. He answered all my questions and offered suggestions to care for my system.

It took several trips, they tried several things, one at a time, to narrow it down. Instead of changing a bunch of things or applying "band-aids", they worked hard to pinpoint the true issue. It ended up being a piece of metal (limit) that was popping and shutting it off prematurely (before the heat limit actually occurred). So a tiny faulty limit had to be found, and they found it. It took a lot of patience and tedious work at times. They just had the attitude of "I'll find the root cause no matter what it takes, and I won't stop until I find and fix it." I truly believe others would have given up or chalked it up to an issue with my new thermostat. I really appreciate the time and effort that was put into troubleshooting, not giving up, and finding the real issue, and fixing it the right way!

All I can say is Autumn Air was professional, trustworthy, economical and exceeded all my expectations. There is nothing more aggravating than to have your air conditioning unit quit. Although it is mid-October we needed our air conditioning fixed ASAP. Our unit was 17 years old and I knew we needed to replace it if not immediately, within the very near future. I emailed a few companies Saturday night asking for estimates and to please contact me Monday morning. Only Autumn Air and one other company returned my call today. Autumn Air was very pleasant and offered to have someone come out to price the unit immediately. Since I knew I did not want to start throwing money away repairing such an old unit I asked for a quote for a new unit (with and without the furnace). Skip came out and priced the unit with three options and it was clear if I wanted more options he would give them to me. He did not acted putout or frustrated with my request. He did not pressure me to make a decision nor did he push me to buy the most expensive product. Without me asking, he let me know the specials that were being offered. I asked how soon they could install the unit and he said either this afternoon or in the morning. I called my husband and sent him the estimates. My husband was impressed and even showed his fellow employees who were also impressed with the prices. After weighing the pros and cons we decided to replace the entire unit (with furnace). I called Skip back about 2:30 saying we did want to go ahead and replace the unit, he said he would call me right back, that it would be either this afternoon or in the morning. I was floored when he called me back shortly afterwards and asked if it was okay with me if they could install it today. Skip and two other gentlemen came and installed the unit working hard until close to 9:00pm. We were all extremely grateful to the diligence of these men. In addition, Autumn Air included a 2-year service plan where they will come out to service/clean the unit twice a year. They have earned my trust. I am very thankful to Autumn Air.

The service representative took me step by step with the issues I was having with my present unit. I appreciated the time he took. I felt he was interested in helping me understand why I was going to need a new system. He also gave me several options of how to resolve the problem. The installers were there the same day installing my new system. Everything was done within a few hours. Amazing work ethic. Very efficient and professional people.

So thankful for Jeff and his team. So professional, helpful, informative, and efficient. We called the night our air conditioner went out, Jeff came that night to offer options and quotes, then they arrived and installed the very next morning. They had the air on by lunch and completed modifications by dinner. Jeff considered our concerns and needs, then offered multiple options to meet both. Leaps and bounds above the competition. They made sure everything was properly set up and running as efficiently as possible before leaving. They even cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend, especially if you have an out of date unit and and want to reduce your power bill. Fresh, Clean, Crisp Air all thanks to Jeff and his team.

It went great I called autumn air and with in an hour they had someone at my house. He found the issues we were having and fix them. I wouldn't trust anyone else in my home seriously called these people

I am very pleased with the professionalism and punctuality of Baker Orange and the install crew, the job was done the same day that I was given the quote and the cost was extremely low compared to the other quotes that I received from other companies. The quality of work was superb and mess free. Highly recommended.

I selected this business based on Angie's List reviews and their same day availability. My drain pan in the attic was overflowing causing damage to my ceiling. After a relatively brief examination, Autumn's technician informed me that the drain pipe was not clogged and the leak was the result of a "bad" evaporator coil that would cost $2,500 to replace. He said charging the system with freon may stop the leak temporarily. I opted for that course of action because I had reservations about making a $2,500 decision on the spot. After spending $399 for freon, the problem quickly returned and I decided to have a different company diagnose it. That technician attributed the leak to a clogged drain pipe and a faulty float switch (~$120). The problem has not reoccurred since that repair. It's concerning that a simple issue was diagnosed by Autumn's technician as a major HVAC repair. I paid $399 for a service call that resulted in an apparent inaccurate diagnosis and for freon I'm not sure I needed.

Just had autumn air to my home, had several other company's out and autumn air was able to fix it at a great price!! I purchased the 119 service agreement and a few weeks later my upstairs unit went out and it was free of charge to have them visit since I'm a member! Great company!
