Authentic Restoration

I contacted Authentic Restoration to fix a leak in my roof that 3 other companies had not been able to fix. Ironically, I can't say enough about their service and their commitment to standing behind their work. On the first visit, they fixed a nail pop which they noticed almost immediately. because of its proximty to the leak they though that should resolve the issue. However, that did not turn out to be the cause and the leak persisted. I called to discuss and we were able to schedule a time to come back out. They did a much more thorough review and after the heavy rains yesterday - everything is dry and the leak is fixed. i wish I would have known about them 6 months ago. I actually was thinking the leak would never get fixed after the first visit wasn't successful. The previous company never returned my calls when the problem persisited and ultimately the water built up and there is now a hole in my ceiling. However, Scott wanted to get it fixed and was easy to schedule a time to come out and take a closer look. I will highly recommend them to any friedns that need a roof, repairs, etc.. and will definitely use them again for any roofing issues I have. thanks again for solving the problem!

It went great Authentic Restoration ( Chris Baldus) was very very nice and very professional. Went up on the roof to see what the problems may be we talked about all my optiions on fixing it, the work was done with no problems. We would use him again.

All communication with Chris Baldus and office staff was in a timely manner, with courtesy and attentiveness to all my inquires and changes. It couldn't have been any better.....exceeded expectations.

The whole process was excellent. For starters, they are the ONLY company that answered my call on the first try and returned any subsequent messages. That was refreshing. Donna, the office manager, immediately took my call and had Chris, the manager, call me and setup and appointment. Chris showed up exactly when he said and spent plenty of time with me inspecting the damage and explaining the best course of correction. Within 2 days, I had a written quote with details and pricing. Once I agreed to the quote, they came out within the scheduled time frame and completed the job. It was prompt, professional work, with no mess left behind. If you want an honest, on-time, and quality roofing or repair job, I would definitely recommend Authentic Restoration.

Mr. Chris Baldus called to make an appointment and found that he could come by at that time which he did. We talked, He told me what he would do on this visit. He would check for the leaks that i was concerned with, take pictures and make repairs if he could. he put boots around two pipes that may be the cause of the leak. He found a nail in another place that was over another area where a leak was present. He checked my insulation in the attic because i was concerned about damage from the leaks. He assured me that my insulation was find. He told me to keep my eyes open for any leaks when we had the next rain. Well I've been waiting for rain to see if there would be any more leaks. We have had lots of rain since the 15th of this month and i have not experienced any more leaks. I'm very pleased with the work and the way Mr. Baldus handled all my concerns about my home. Scott called ahead of the appointment to let us know he was running late due to some thunderstorms, which actually worked out just fine. He was friendly and knowledgeable and didn't push anything on us. He also told us that the roof was in a lot better shape that he would have thought based on its age (when he could've taken advantage and said we needed a new roof). Scott was also able to take care of the small issues we had quickly, and explained why they had been taken care of and how long the fix would last. He took his time and answered all of my questions.

Scott was punctual and thorough. Provided a thorough evaluation of my roofs condition and how to improve attic ventilation. Did not try to push products and services on me. I would highly recommend Authentic Restoration.

I am well pleased with Scott's professionalism, the work that has been completed, and with Donna's (office manager) checking to make sure I have been contacted and my questions answered. The only problem I experienced was having to call Scott several times before getting a response--my roofing needs corresponded with a spate of bad weather and they were slammed with business.

They were extremely nice people to deal with but, i got stood up 2 times on waiting on someone to show up to start on the work. They apologized both times and said they were extremely busy but, I was taking days off work to be there when the work was performed and that alone was costing me money so i cancelled the work and ask them for the $100.00 dollar refund and i didn't get it back. I hate it didn't work out but iwas getting concerned about the quality of work and the time frame of completion.

We had a leak around our chimney flashing that I have had repaired multiple times and it keeps leaking. Scott came out promptly and took a look at it, inside and out. He put sealant on multiple places where he saw problems. He told me this might hold it for quite a few years, to watch it through a few rains and see. He said the roofer had not done the flashing properly or the sealant would not be needed. A permanent fix would be to have the chimney flashing redone, but he was not pushy about doing that now. He gave me an idea about how much that would cost. Was very impressed with the time he took to explain what he saw/did. Later that afternoon, we had a pretty intense 30-minute downpour. I checked the chimney and it was dry. Very impressed with the honesty and integrity and will use these guys in the future.

Scott was fantastic. I'd had another company out 4 times. They had put silicone sealant on spots all around the area where water had been coming in and finally advised replacing 3 courses of shingles at a cost of $1,400+. Scott spotted the hole right away. If you need roof work, this is the company to call!

It was okay. I didn't have any issues with it. I asked for an estimate on how much life I had in my existing roof. Half of it has been replaced and the other half has not, so he gave me about a year or two which sounded about right. They were punctual. The gentleman I dealt with was very professional and seemed like an honest guy. He really wanted me to go and do a new roof, but I didn't pay anything extra. They came out within a couple of weeks. They were good.

The inspection was thorough. I was show, from the ground and from photographs the real problems that existed and the needed repairs were explained to me. When I am ready to get the repairs I will call Authentic Restoration again. I feel confident that a short wait will not cause further damage and that the problems can be remediated.

Scott was great! He inspected my roof and sealed a couple of areas. Provided details on the condition of my roof. Scott was very attentive to my questions - never pressured me to buy a new roof. Thanks to Scott's feedback, I know the condition of my roof and what to expect in the near future.

It went very well, actually better than expected. I have had the opportunity to deal with roofing companies in the past and every time their focus was on selling me products and services I did not need. That was not the case here! Scott performed the inspection, made some repairs and replaced a few boots. He advised me that although our roof was a bit aged, it did not require replacement at this time. I like it when a company places ethics and professionalism above profit! Thank you! Highly recommend.

Scott Bullard came out for the company. He was punctual and professional. He took the time to explain what will need to be done in the future and gave me peace of mind on how long I can expect our present roof to last. Mr Bullard gave me more information about roofing than I ever knew. I was very pleased with my purchase and I definitely will call his company back for future jobs, including a new roof.

After talking with a number of roofing companies, I chose Authentic Restoration because of their outstanding ratings/reviews with Angie's List and with the BBB. One of the best decisions I ever made. They are a company of integrity and they truly care about providing the best service for the customer. My roof had storm damage, so it was necessary to work with my insurance company, which turned out to be a real eye-opener for me. Authentic Restoration's Scott Ballard was great: so knowledgeable, patient, POSITIVE and diligent in dealings with me and my insurance company. Once the details were worked out, the roofing work was underway and completed quickly. They installed a quality roof and it was well done - looks great. Clean-up was exceptionally good, and any remaining 'punch-list' details were handled promptly. Good job and a wonderful deal overall. I asked them to give me a quote for the interior repairs and they are coming out today to do it. Also, the guy didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need. I appreciated that.

My experience with Authentic Restoration was outstanding. I was greatly impressed with their honesty, thoroughness, and communication. My relatively new roof (4-5 years) developed a leak. After receiving a very expensive quote from another company, I purchased the $100 roof inspection from Authentic Restoration. The service advisor found a nail that was sticking up out of a shingle to be the problem. He fixed this and was very kind to text me photos of the roof and called me to discuss the problem. The cost of $100 was a small fraction of the quote I received from another company for an extensive repair. I would give this company my highest recommendation.

Scott and Chris(owners) visited our house on two separate occasions to identify the scope and cost of the project. They gave us a couple of options and we settled on a repair rather than a complete roof replacement. They did a very good job of matching our roof shingles and completely the job in a timely manner. We have had significant wind and rain since they did the repair and I see no sign of further leaks. Scott has made follow up calls to see if we had questions or were satisfied. I won't hesitate to call them for any future needs.

Hands down the best roofer we have ever had. We live on a heavily treed lot. Lots of big limbs coming through all the time and we are constantly having to pay a roofer to patch things up. I would say that we have had at least 5 or 6 different roofers to patch things up over the course of 7 years. The last roofer charged us $300 to check out the roof and patch things up. After every one roofer, leaks still popped up from the same spot (some of the spots, not all). That is until Scott Bullard with Authentic Restoration came. I paid for the $49 deal. That included an inspection and a few minor things, nothing major. I paid another $100 for him to fix the leaks and do a little more. He was there on time, he stayed for over an hour, he explained absolutely everything that he found, and we have NOT had one leak since then. We had two leaks that all of the previous roofers never found where they were coming from. Scott did and he fixed them. Not a leak, not one. I will NEVER uses anyone else. After I bought the deal, the lady in the office called me first thing the next morning and she was very professional and very sweet. Thank you Scott, thank you Authentic Restoration. Pat Rice
