Authentic Restoration

Very well. Received helpful info about our roof and flashing. I will use this firm if/when future work is needed.

I like these people and they have done work here but I call them three weeks ago about an estimate on repairing my gutter. No one has showed up to give a estimate. The bad thing about them not showing up is that they installed the gutters four years ago. If you want an estimate or work done I would call some one other than Authentic Restoration.

How did it go - perfectly! I had gone in one of my spare bedrooms upstairs to get something (I rarely have reason to go into the room very often) and noticed some popcorn ceiling matter on the carpet. Looking up I saw a water mark on the ceiling the size of a basketball. I called Authentic Restoration and Scott Bullard came out the following day. He went in the attic to look around and then got on on the roof and noticed the seal to an attic vent pipe had been dislodged. The vent pipe is right next to my A/C unit in the attic (and right above the water mark on my ceiling) and Scott concluded that someone working for the company that does my annual A/C maintenance must have pushed on the vent pipe to cause it to move and unseat the seal on the roof. Scott pushed the seal back in place and resealed it with silicone. He also did a complete roof inspection with pictures and showed me the many problems up there and suggested a new roof (roof is approximately 22 years old so the new roof recommendation was not surprising at all) . He's working up an estimate for my review. The house call, inspection and reseal work was done at no charge. Scott was very friendly, professional and courteous. I offered to pay for his time and travel but he refused. To say I was impressed is an understatement. Thank you so much.

Thinking of $375 Value for $49, I was expecting 1 to 2 hour work on the roof. Instead, he went up on the roof, walked over it and came down within a few (6- 10) minutes. I asked him about Gutters. He said it will be extra money. I believe, I wasted my $49. They should refund money if no work is needed. I could have asked others for inspecting my roof and giving me a free estimate

Chris and Scott did an outstanding job! They met the insurance adjuster and walked the roof with him to make sure the claim was accurate. They reviewed the insurance company's estimate and found a number of items relating to the damage and local code that were missed, leading to an supplement in the amount paid by insurance. The crew worked very hard and removed and replaced the roof in two days, as scheduled. They also coordinated repair of some internal water damage areas. I feel confident that I now have a roof that will last for decades, and it looks great. I highly recommend Authentic Restoration for your roofing needs.

I contacted Chris Baldus who was EXCELLENT at communication and service. I described the type of roof that I wanted and he patiently worked with me to find a new premium roofing material. Expectations for the quality of this roof vastly exceeded my expectations. The workers arrived on time, worked hard, and were polite. Porch damage from an old leak was also repaired perfectly. I give my my very highest recommendations to this company. One of the most positive experiences I've had with home repair.

Chris, Jose, and crew worked quickly and professionally. The main part of the work was completed in two days. They sent a crew member back to finish the cleanup work. All went well and looks very good.

My wife and I could not have been more pleased. From our first visit with Scott and subsequent conversations with Scott and Chris, the determination of our needs and the work to meet those needs showed only the greatest professionalism. They listened to what we wanted and did it. Their friendliness and punctuality were outstanding during the length of the project. Also, the inside painting job was excellent. Excellent purchase. I called before I purchased to make sure what I wanted was covered. They called and scheduled promptly. Arrived right on time. We discussed different options for the roof and I felt comfortable about what I needed to have done. 3 pipe boots sealed and 5 shingles replaced. I would call them when I need a new roof.

Scott called shortly after I purchased the package and came to my house even though it was raining and he knew he would have to come back to make a full inspection of my roof and make any repairs. He also looked at other water problems I was having and suggested fixes. We scheduled the time when he would come and inspect my roof. On the scheduled day, the weather forecast was for heavy rain in the late afternoon, so Scott called and moved up our appointment so that he could inspect my roof and fix the leak before the storm. He also explained potential problems due to Signature Homes incorrect installation of my roof during construction. Scott is extremely knowledgeable about roofs since growing up working with his family and learning the business at an early age. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received and will definitely call Scott if I have any further problems and to reinspect my roof on a consistent basis. Superior. Representative promply call to set up an appointment. Showed up at the appointed time. He took my wife and I outside to show us the problems with vent pipe boots. He repaired the problems by replacing with the proper boots. Everything was completed and I couldn't be happier. I wish all companies were as straight forward with their work.

Roof inspection was done. They said they sealed a couple of nail heads. I asked for a repair estimate for a leak on my screened in porch, but never received a detailed estimate.

Very professional. Had to reschedule once but came out on a Saturday. Received all services in the package and advice on some things that weren't included.

Roof had developed a leak and upon inspection, Chris Baldus at Authentic Restoration discovered that there was hail damage. Chris coordinated with our insurance company in filing the claim, meeting with the claims adjuster and once approved his crew did a great job in tough cold conditions. They arrived on time and worked into the dark for two days to re-shingle the roof. They were professional cleaned up after themselves each evening and were very nice as well. Hardworking!

Duncan Gutters did the work as a subcontractor for Authentic Restoration. They were prompt, polite, and very hardworking. My contacts with Authentic Restoration was a pleasant experience, also.

This is a rental house I own. They were prompt and friendly. I had a small leak in a bedroom. They checked and found everything to be in good condition except for two exhaust fans. They informed me that I needed to have the fans replaced because they were frozen and when it rains the rain can come in through the fan because the blades are not moving.They offered to put me in contact with someone who could replace them but I already have a contractor who can fix it. They caulked every nail hole and around everything on the roof, I am very satisfied.

Scott was very professional and pleasant to talk to. He was able to fix the problem without any additional costs beyond the Angie's list big deal package.

Fantastically well. They did a very professional job. I still have not found one roofing nail in my yard. Very responsive, very easy to deal with. They even helped get all the claim work filed with my homeowners insurance company. Highly recommended.

We have used Authentic Restoration 2 times now. After a bad experience with Cardinal Roofing which we paid $1000 to do work that was improperly done and which they would not honor their work... we hired Authentic Restoration to fix what they damaged. It was a pleasure working with Scott and Chris and working with a company that is reputable and guarantees their work if there is a problem. I would definitely recommend them and will most definitely hire them again in the future if needed. Thank you for being an honorable company, there should be more companies like them.
