We hired Alabama Garment Restoration after a fire at our home. They were very prompt and punctual, arriving when they said they would. We provided a sample of clothing and linens for them to attempt smoke removal. They committed to return the sample to us within two days, and the results were outstanding. Because the result was so good, we hired them to do smoke removal on all our garments and linens. In all, we provided approximately 1000 garments and 300 linens. Of that total, fewer than 150 had permanent damage requiring disposal. Ray Smith delivered when he said he would and accommodated two special requests for specific types of clothing when we asked for them (for example, a sudden cool spell necessitated sweaters and jackets). In only a few cases did it appear that an item required disposal because of the defumigation service, and more often it was the result of water damage from the fire.
