I took advantage of a free AC tune-up offer by Aire Service Over The Mountain and scheduled an appointment. Scheduling the appointment was easy and the two-hour time frame is a very good feature for someone who has to take off from work. The heads-up call telling me that the technician was on his way is a great service. Technician Matthew C. arrived well within the scheduling window and showed great professionalism and displayed great knowledge. He methodically assessed the entire AC system (furnace and heat pump indoors and outdoors). At the time, I had not started the cooling and hence was not aware that the outdoor compressor for the heat pump did not work. Matthew quickly found that the capacitor was not working and replaced it with an extra part he had in his tool box. I was very impressed with the display of cleanliness ( technician brought his own floor mat and booties to avoid carrying dirt into the house when switiching between indoor and outdoor units). I was also impressed with the technician's professionalism and overall courtesy. Most impressive was that the technician did not try to pitch any other services or contracts. He just went about performing the tune-up and explained the overall condition of the units involved. Upon parting for the day, I then asked him whether the company provided service contracts for regular tune-ups and I signed up for such a service contract as a result of the overall excellent experience with this particular technician and tune-up.

Came during weekend and fixed air conditioning on moments notice without charging an arm and a leg. Professional, prompt and did not try to up sell me on extras that I did not actually need. Great company, great service.

Matthew was very professional; he fixed our air conditioner in one day and did not try to sell us anything that we did not need. I would definitely recommend them (we have used other providers in the past and were not as satisfied).

Both technicians were extremely professional and did exactly what we paid for. No "up selling". Also, wanted to mention that the customer service prior to the service was excellent- they were very prompt and courteous.

I had a problem with my upstairs air conditioner not cooling properly. The technician identified a bad capacitor, went to his truck and had the replacement on board. He replaced it, checked all pressures, and verified it worked perfectly. He was very knowledgable, kind, and personable. Very pleasant to deal with. I am very pleased with the professionalism, and expertise that he displayed. I have no hesitation recommending AireServ to anyone I know, to do service on their heating/air conditioning system. They were great. The contacted me quickly after I purchased the deal. We picked a day. They were awesome. They were quick. They let me know about my units and didn't try to sell me on anything else. My units were working fine. They were great.

At first we thought it went well. The guy came out and told us that the drain pump had failed and that he would order the part and let us know the cost and order and come and fix it. But we never heard from them again. Basically we paid $79 for somebody to ell us our dehumidifier didn't work.

After many years of minor repairing and patching a 30 year old heat pump we finally had to bite the bullet and replace it. I contacted Aire Serv Over The Mountain based on their reviews here. Heather in the main office lined up Matthew to come out and work up an estimate. After inspecting what we needed he discussed everything with me and provided a "basic", "mid-level" and "super-duper/all the bells and whistles" system options pricing to me on the spot. Because we had had such long term good service with a Trane heat pump I was very pleased to find out that's what Aire Serv would install. Having done my prior research I found their pricing to be excellent and immediately authorized the installation. Much to my surprise Matthew lined up a crew to come immediately to do the installation. I hadn't expected that that could take place for a couple of days. The crew arrived within an hour or so and went right to work. As I write this it's almost 8:30 PM and Todd & Justin are working hard to get the new system up and running. The heat pump has been installed and all the trash, etc. removed. They are charging the system now in anticipation of start up. They will have to come back tomorrow to install the REME air pollutant removal system I also purchased but they wouldn't leave us tonight without the AC working. That degree of dedication to customer satisfaction is greatly appreciated and is something I would love to see other service companies strive for in their customer service philosophy. I'm so impressed with Aire Serv that I'm submitting this review before I receive the request from Angie's List to do so. I highly recommend Aire Serv Over The Mountain and am very glad I chose to work with them. I won't hesitate to contact them again for any work I might need in the future.

I don’t recall any problems with scheduling. They were punctual and completed the work in about twenty-five minutes. They did all that I had asked. They did a great job.

They were wonderful. I bought the maintenance package and they take care of everything.

My service technician was prompt and very professional. Seemed very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why. Couldn't have been nicer. I think knowing that Angie's list exists and that this was an Angie's list deal makes service businesses like this get on their A game. They know they will be reviewed and the power of Angie's list on future business is undeniable. I love it. This is a very good company based on this one experience with this technician.

These folks were sent out by my home warranty company to fix a package ac/heating unit. Not only did they not do a thorough inspection to uncover all of the problems that needed to be fixed, but their office lady Kim was non-communicative and confrontational when I could actually get her to return my call. I filed a formal complaint with my warranty company and would not recommend them for any services, whatsoever.

The technician was very courteous to the tenant and answered all of the questions provided by the tenant. The technician also called me after the service call and walked me through what services were performed, as well as the conversations between the tenant and himself. It was a very thorough call.

They called to let me know when they were arriving and then arrived at the specified time. They introduced themselves (the trucks were covered in Aire Serve logos so there was no doubt) and said they were there to replace my old unit and asked if I would please open the garage door so they could work without damaging anything (the main truck was tall). They tore out the old unit and replaced it. When I inspected the area, I was pleased to note that they had removed all of their debris and left both areas clean and neat. The only incident was the fire alarm went off in the house while they were brazing in the new unit. Neither of us knew how sensitive my alarms were and it scared us all. Not a problem. The company had given me an estimate of the cost the previous Friday and the bill was exactly what they said. This is the same company that installed our upstairs unit last year (the house is 14 yrs old and they were the original units) and I was pleased with the service then and I am still happy with the company now. I highly recommend them.

The tune up and inspection went well and I would use them again. Everything has held up fine since then. There were no issues with scheduling.

Matthew was on time, extremely professional and knowledgeable about the issue I needed addressed. We would reccommend Aire Serv Over the Mountain and Matthew without reservation. They will be the company we use for our AC needs going forward.

On time, clean, efficient

I purchased the Big Deal A/C Tune Up. I received a phone call to schedule my appointment the same day as the purchase. I was able to schedule my appointment for the following week. I received a call the day of my appointment to tell me that the technician finished a job early and would make it to my house a little earlier than scheduled. Justin showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. after the job he explained what was done and was very knowledgable. My entire experience was great and I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone who needed work done.

They removed a dead heat pump and installed a new one. Their service was excellent.

It went great. The tech explained everything he did and answered all of my questions. I marked that I wouldn't use this provider again because the tech told me they charge $205.00 per hour. to me that is outrageous.

Very professional and we were pleased overall. However, they did tell us that one unit needed a new part (which we did not buy), and that turned out not to be the case when we had the unit re-checked by another company sent by our home warranty firm. The other company simply performed a minor repair (we didn't have to replace the part after all) and the unit has worked fine ever since. I would use this company again if we had another coupon, since I think that is a reasonable price. But I would not replace a part or unit on their word alone, or anyone else's for that matter. I would always get a second opinion.

I used a coupon for AirServ to check my HVAC units. The coupon was unclear on whether the discount was for all HVAC units or just one. I was surprised that they were going to charge to look at each unit. (the coupon should state the discount is for 1 HVAC unit and not the whole house). The technician, however, was very good in working out an acceptable deal and provided excellent service. While the cost was more than I planned to spend, I liked the technician.
