AIR MAX HEATING & COOLING

This company was punctual, professional and responsive. My air conditioning system was filled in March, 2012 with coolant. Air Max was the third company to come out this year to fix my system, which was blowing hot air. The system worked for a few weeks after it was filled in March, but by late April was blowing hot air again. They really impressed me by coming out on a Saturday and not charging extra. The techs were very nice. However, I told them that the system had been filled with coolant six weeks before and that should have been a big red flag to them that I had major leaks in it. They filled the system and told me to contact my warranty company for a separate work order for them to check for leaks, which I now know was not needed, since that was supposed to be done anyways. A week later, my air conditioning system was again blowing hot air. Now this company was not so easy to reach, and again it was the weekend. It took me calling the warranty company and them contacting Air Max again to have them come out. It took over a week to get them back out, and then he said not only could he not find the leak, but he couldn't fill the system with coolant because it was leaking, and had to get another company out here to find the leak. Then it was another weekend without air conditioning. The forth company to come out diagnosed the problem immediately and said the first three companies must be incompetent not be be able to see that my 22 year old air conditioning system was leaking and needed to be replaced. It is being replaced today, and I will post a great review of that company should they continue to provide great, knowledgeable service!
