Great service, great price/value and very professional.

After furnace stopped running called warranty provider and then had wade heating call us. I asked if there would be any fees for them coming out today. They told me no several times. Then after coming out and confirming what I told them I the phone they then attempted to charge me 85 dollars for labor. By the way the issue was not fixed. Then after telling them I would not be paying he called his boss and his boss told him to get my signature then they would turn it over for collections. I'm just not a fan of this dishonest attempt to extort money from me.

They are an excellent company. They were pretty good for the job they’ve done for us. We’ve been going to them for a long time because of their service and their workmanship. Their pricing is competitive.

My furnace stopped working sometime in the night. I called Wade first thing this morning, and they told me they would be out after lunch to check my furnace. Justin showed up at 12:45, which was a pleasant surprise, since the woman on the phone told me it would be 1:00 pm. After looking at the unit, and tinkering with it, Justin came in and told me that the gas valve had been stuck, and that he unstuck it. He also said it wasn't a permanent fix, and would recommend replacing the valve. Because it was 57 degrees in my house (in November), and I would prefer to have heat, I told him to go ahead with it. He said it would be $431, which would cover both the service call and the part. He was polite, friendly and professional. I thought that was a bit high, but Thanksgiving is in 2 days and I will be traveling and I had already taken time off work to meet Wade. It seemed like the fastest course of action to accept the work, even tho the estimate seemed crazy high. I have to point out that I called Wade because they fixed my air conditioner last summer at a very reasonable price (~$150), so I felt like I could probably trust them not to scam me. After he finished installing the new valve, Justin came in to tell me there was "another problem." He had a box in his hand. He told me that my thermostat wasn't working right, and that he would be able to replace mine for $150. Since I KNOW that the gas valve is an entirely separate entity from the thermostat, AND I can buy a reasonably fancy programmable thermostat from Lowe's for ~$40, I told him absolutely not. (There is definitely NOTHING wrong with my thermostat, as the house has heated back up nicely since he left.) After he left, I called my dad to discuss the service call. He looked up the price of a new furnace gas valve, which SHOULD have cost me around $100. Since the invoice Justin wrote out has the part listed as $386. I am pretty ticked off that I allowed him to work on the furnace, since he clearly scammed me on the price of the part, and attempted to sell me a ridiculously expensive UNNECESSARY thermostat in addition to the already exceedingly overpriced gas valve. I will NOT be using Wade again. Period. I do NOT recommend calling them. Ever.

I hired Wade Heating & Air Conditioning to come out to do the repair work which he did not do it, they did charge me just to come out and give me an estimate and they did not apply it to the repairs. They were prompt but not very professional. I was disappointed in their service and I would not recommend them.

Bill, with Wade Heating and Air came by promptly to give an estimate. He spent plenty of time answering my many questions and gave us the lowest estimate of all of the 5 estimates we got. Bill helped me finalize the decision on which furnace to chose. After making our decision to go with Wade, we scheduled a day, but unfortunately, it rained that day. We rescheduled for the next day. They showed up around 8am and finished by 5pm. By the time I got home from work, we had heat after a couple of weeks using space heaters, just in time for the recent cold spell. The new American Standard furnace works very well, heating our 1550sq ft home very comfortably with the thermo set to 69 deg. This was on the coldest night so far(day after Thanksgiving). Wade heating & Air is an American Standard Independent Certified Customer Care? Dealer so they should be well equipped to handle any potential service issues. All in all I would give them repeat business in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Wade Heating and Air. We just completed a major house renovation and dealt with many different contractors. Wade was extremely professional and easy to work with. Contract was signed and price was exactly as quoted. They used galvanized steel for the trunk lines, which some HVAC quotes we received were going to use duct board, which is lesser quality and hard to clean. Other quotes we received for similar work: Mainline - $7,900, Guin Service - $9,000.00, WC Wright - $11,450 (using all metal runs). The winner of the most ridiculous quote was Standard Heating and Air (Eric Stone) who said to replace the existing system running under the house would be $15,000 to $18,000. For an overhead system, add about $1,500 to $2,000 more. We just recently had the final inspection and Jimmy Wade could not have been any nicer and accommodating. He met with the inspector and called me immediately to let me know what was going on. The plumbers incorrectly installed a gas line and Jimmy fixed it at no cost to us, and wouldn't even take money for it when I insisted. He's just a fantastic guy. My Mom's hairdresser recommended Wade to us and I can't thank her enough.

I would like people to know that Wade Heating & Air is reliable and they can be trusted. The work that they did for us was great. They didn't leave any mess. We haven't had any problem with their service. I don't think that they over charge you for their services either.
