Great sevice, professional, friendly, and I will never use anyone other than S&S Appliance for any repairs, maintence or replacement!

The freezer needed a number of related repairs. After the first visit and charge, many of these repairs were done for free. Ultimately, nearly all of the compressor components were replaced.

The person I spoke to on the phone was polite and easy to deal with. The serviceman was friendly enough, and got the job done quickly. Overall we were very pleased.

We had 3 or 4 service people prior to S&S to come and repair our SubZero refrigerator and and none of those were satisfactory. S&S came and did an excellent job!

They are very prompt. They do excellent service and they have a reasonable price. I would probably have them come out again because we went on a long weekend, and found our freezer had been sealed. We don’t want to throw it out, so we would probably have them to come back out and see if it needs repair and if we need to let them move it out and clean the underneath. We can’t get totally under it. It’s the sub-zero freezer and we’ve had it for 20 years. They’ve taken it and worked on it several times over the years. They are very good and also, their work is very fine.

I bought all my appliances from S&S Appliance SVC. Company so it was easy for me to just use their repair department. I didn’t have any complaints with the work done by their service people. They get the appliances working all the time and that’s all what I care about. I would recommend them.

The unit initially worked fine, but not great. Now, three months later, the unit stopped working. When I contacted S & S, they told me nothing was under warranty but they could come out once more and replace the unit again. I told them no. I then called Sears, who sent out a repairman. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a plumbing issue, and told me that replacing the unit would not help. He was competent and professional and I appreciated his insight into the problem. I then called a plumbing company, and they came and fixed my problem. I feel that if S & S had come back out, they would have done the same inferior work that was done originally.

Overall, this was a bad experience. After the sale, they totally ignored us and our needs. We would not recommend them to others. They were wonderful with the sale, but the issue we had with them was with the warranty.

Our refrigerator was running all the time and while the freeze kept items below freezing, neither it or the rest of the refrigerator was as cold as it should be. We called S&S first thing Monday morning, they said they could come any day the rest of the week, we picked Tuesday. They told us we would get a call Tuesday morning giving us a 2 hour window of when they would be there. They called at 8:30 and said they would come between 10 and 12; they showed up at 10:06. After confirming the motor was the problem, they gave me an estimate of the cost. I told them to go ahead. The first motor he installed was defective which he found through testing. After an hour all work was done on refrigerator. He then jumped behind the dryer and shortened and straightened the vent hose. All communications were timely and professional as was the repairman Cost breakdown: service call $69; new motor $48, labor $76; dryer vent labor $45.

I picked this company from Angie's List and called. I called on May 6, 6008 and was given an appointment for May 8. The repairman arrived timely and informed me that I needed a new fan motor and it would take a couple of days to receive. I agreed to replacement of the motor. On June 12, 2008, a company rep called me to let to schedule the replacement of the fan motor. No one attempted to explain what happened and why it took so long to call back.

Pretty well. They were quite prompt in looking that the microwave. Courteous and fast in their diagnosis. Unfortunately, the service call was not free and the microwave's magnetron was broken. Part was under warranty with Sears, but they would charge another fee to look at it before they replaced the part. Labor from either company was not free. We ended up getting a new microwave from a store on the internet. The microwave probably could have been diagnosed over the phone and saved us some money.

Dishwasher sounded like it was eating the dishes. At first the technician thought it was the motor gears grinding but decided to see if there was something in the pump first. It turned out to be small pieces of melted plastic that were hung up in the pump. We were only charged for the trip.

I called the main office and made an appointment for two days later as that fit my schedule best. One of the repairmen called me the morning of the appointment, as promised, to schedule their arrival time. They arrived well within the two hour time frame given. They were both kind and courteous - even when my young puppy jumped on them both.

Refrigerator stopped working. Sounded like compressor was unable to start. Somewhat intermittent. Had previously had another company come out, who's technician was unable to do anything because the refrigerator was working when he came. Technician was able to quickly diagnose that the compressor had gone out. After working up a price, was very honest that he would like to replace the compressor, but that we would be probably better off getting a new refrigerator.

$65.00 for part and $65.00 for coming out and $60.00 for defrosting the coils. He was supposed be here at 2-4:30 but, came at 5 after I called at 4:30. I will still call them again.

He came out during the times promised and checked the compressor etc. He decided that it would be good to analyze the problem by leaving a meter to record the temperature and other readings over a 24 hour period. He came back the next day within the promised time and removed the meter. He said he would call back after his company analyzed the data. He called the next day and said the fridge was working properly. Before each visit they called to confirm the time of arrival.

The repairman was prompt, very nice, and had all of the parts he needed on the first visit. Everything works great now.

This company is great - much better than going through another company whom I usually go through.

S & S Appliance Service Company repaired our oven on the first visit. The oven has also kept the temperature since they fixed it. The repair man explained everything very well before he started any work and was done in about an hour.

The guy that came out from S & S was a real professional and very nice. He made sure that he covered the floor around his work area, as not to mess anything up. After he came out, we have not had any more problems with the ice maker.

With the couple of experiences we have had with them, we have been pleased. They were right to the point and did what was needed. The part that needed changed on the dryer was a simple fix and they got it done fast. They have been polite and respectful and did not give us any problems.

S & S Appliance Service came here the morning after I called them. The worker was kind. He replaced a part for temperature regulation. I am happy with the service. He did a good job. My refrigerator now cools evenly. I would recommend them to others.

The work wasnt bad at all but everything that came with it was terrible for the most part. It cost $50.00 for them to just ring the door bell, so that started us with a bad taste from the start. It wasnt the most convenient service and even with the refrigerator being fixed right, I just had a hard time swallowing such a cost for this type of service.

S & S Appliance Service Company repaired the dishwasher in my home. It is now working great. I am always pleased with their service. The workers are very professional. They were here on time. I have bought new appliances from the too. I would recommend them to others.
