Prompt. Did a great job. I've already got another job booked with Tim.

He first came by to look at the damage and give me an estimate. The estimate he gave was that he would have to cut a hole in my kitchen floor to get to the pipe that extended outside so he could shut the water off, this was going to cost over 900.00. I agreed to it because I had no water and set up the time for him to come over the next morning. I had to work that morning so my father met him at my house along with a tree company to remove the limb. When he arrived my father suggested that he could just put a cap on the broken off valve instead of cutting a hole in the kitchen floor. My father turned around to pay the tree company and the plumber had disappeared with out a word. After many attempts to get in touch with him we found another plumber that easily put a cap on the outside pipe and charged us 100.00.

Tim did a great job- came out and fixed the problem. He was finished in 30 minutes, and we were able to continue installing our toilet, and more importantly, turn the water back on! It was a little pricey for less than 30 minutes of work, but that's what you pay when you have to have a plumber come out on a Sunday.

Brought a larger and more expensive commode than requested, but had no caulk with which to redo the seal, leaving the brown gunky stuff exposed (and for me to fix). A year later, the handle on this expensive commode broke and Tim essentially refused to come fix it. He was rude and very unprofessional. Even in the manner in which he answered the phone, I couldn't tell that I had reached a legitimate business. I will never use these guys again.

They routed out our lines on more than one occasion, but the last time we called, they did not show up. When I called to find out when they would come, Tim was VERY rude to me (using phrases such as "you people" and "you've got an attitude") and told me to call someone else. I was shocked and immediately apologized, saying I didn't mean to be short, but he hung up in my face. I was shocked, and so upset that I started to cry. I called Stephens plumbing to do the job...you'll get my full report later. But just to be fair, before writing my review, I took some time to consider that Tim may have been having a really bad day, and I called back and took the time to sincerely apologize for any rudeness on my part. He was not as hostile as before, but not nice either. Did not apologize, and ended the conversation with "good luck." One of my worst customer service experiences ever.

He was recommended by a friend to us. The guy who answered the phone was very nice, he was prompt when he came over, but the price was way too high so we joined Angie's list to get another quote.

Without hearing anything from them by 11AM, we called them again and was told that a guy was on the way here and would be a little late. Then after noon, we got a call from them saying that they couldn't come at all. By holding us so late in the day, we could not find anyone else to come before 5 PM since most plumbing companies schedule their work early in the morning. We, at the end, got another company to come the next day and they came on time and did a great job.

Tim's quote was $80 to pull the toilet and $125 to reinstall. Considering the toilet was apparently installed incorrectly, I was hoping for a more favorable price, especially because I was willing to pay him to pull out the sink as well (to allow more complete access to the floor) and reinstall that (or a replacement vanity). (Total for both jobs would have been $555--not to mention the cost to repair the floor). In general,Tim's work is good quality but he has charged us quite a bit of money for the work he's done for us and I am disappointed that he apparently is not taking responsibility for the faulty installation. We won't be using him again. Tim's response below is to a favorable review we did for him in the past--I have deleted that review. Although I was initially happy with the work he did for us, we had him do subsequent jobs and we began to feel he was overcharging us. I'm sorry about that because, overall, the quality of his work is very good.
