Gray's Tree Service

Wish I could give these folks a double A! The only issue I had was in getting an estimator out to provide an estimate. Gray's was REALLY busy and the estimator was leaving messages at the wrong number. Everything got solved and again, while it took some time to actually get a crew out to remove some trees, when they did arrive they did an absolutely outstanding job. I had 3 different crews out - one to cut, one to haul away and a crew that totally restored the look of my driveway where trees were stacked. My neighbor even decided to have a tree cut down while I had a crew here! I had one huge dead pine and a huge live pine removed and 5 other dead or dying hardwoods removed. Folks - please note Gray's is a busy and professional company - and I totally confirm they are worth the wait. Each member of Gray's from Nancy in the office, to the estimator, and each crew member are hard working, polite and professional. One just cannot go wrong with doing business with Gray's. This is my second contract with Gray's, my in-laws use Gray's as does my daughter for their tree cutting and removal needs.

Gray's did a great job grinding a large pine stump and the roots. The price was very reasonable. I did ask for a phone call when they were to be at my home that I did not receive but once I saw the great job they did, I was not upset that I was not able to review their work.

They did a fantastic job removing the tree from a precarious location and then promptly and thoroughly removing the trunks and limbs from the street a week later (it was removed right before a holiday). They were a little difficult to nail down on the scheduling, but we were requesting service in the midst of several storms so I know they were busy.

They cleaned up all of the debris in front of our neighbor’s house. However, they left tree trunks and branches stacked about 7 feet y’all in front of OUR house. They even blew all of the leaves into our yard from my neighbor’s tree. When I saw this and headed outside the guys all got in their truck and left. This is extremely unprofessional! Note: the picture is my house. The trees are not!

Great. They always are careful not to damage other trees. Clean up is excellen too. In fact after they ground the stumps they volunteered to spread out the mulch, blow my driveway of debris from Hurricane Irma, and even hauled off a big branch that had fallen in the yard.

Gray's was very responsive, and did a fantastic job from estimate to clean up. They have all their own equipment, so there was no waiting or extra payment for a crane. The crew was wonderful. I would use this company again in a heartbeat!

Receptionist was rude and not helpful. I have not received a follow up call or contact from the company regarding rescheduling or even to discuss the matter.

These guys always have a good price. They do good work and clean up well.

Trees cut down still waiting for them to remove them from my property . It has been raining , so they don't want to make a mess out of my lot .

did what I wanted like I wanted. The price surprised me and I shook hands ASAP!!!! As other services called me to schedule an estimate, I WOULD SAY "no" I had already reached an agreement. They cut the tree and left it on the ground for me and the cost was much reduced because I did not pay for cutting it into small pieces, loading it, nor the cost of hauling it off. The tree was safely fell between two houses and left for new to clean up. I should hv paid lil extra to have the limbs moved but now I will hv a Bon Fire on New Year's Eve and the trunk will become a habit for whatever lives in a fallen tree trunk. I do not live in city. For u guys, they will leave it clean, but your cost will be greater than mine. I am just relieved that I, nor the precious ones, must sleep under a dead mine large enough it shook the Earth when it hit the Terra. My price includes removal of several limbs over hanging the house as we might as well get em now while they are here.

The work was done promptly and well, and they cleaned up nicely afterward.

Gray's Tree Service was very professional, punctual, and did a phenomenal job on taking down large oak trees and cleaned up right away. I received a few other quotes from other companies, but by far, Gray's was the best price, and they did an exceptional job. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for tree removal.

It was the worst experience I've ever had with a business. I can't even go into the details. It would take more space than I'm allowed. Briefly, they made repeated mistakes and then wouldn't adequately rectify the problems. Average work with horrible customer service. We dealt with them for months and months for what was supposed to be a single day job. Just be forewarned: they were by far the cheapest quote for a reason. Eventually we got it worked out well enough to move on. But the experience was terrible and I'll never get that time back.

Excellent. On time, neat and professional. Clean up was very good. Very serious about doing a good job. They work in teams, the removal team did a fantastic job removing 2 very large trees next to my house. The Clean up (removal team) took everything and it looked like nothing happened there. They removed the debris in a driving storm! How often you see folks working in a heavy rain these days? Stump grinder was deliberate and very good. Everyone we came across in this organization were friendly and interested in doing well for the customer. We could not recommend this outfit more highly. Very good.

The first appointment had to be rescheduled, but they had warned us there was a 50/50 chance that would be the case so we were prepared. They arrived promptly on the reschedule date, thoroughly reviewed the work order with us, and immediately went to work with their crane and comprehensive set of tools. They were very and conscientious throughout the process, making sure none of our property was damaged as limbs were cut and trees were hoisted over the house by crane. They were friendly and professional and did a great job. We were extremely pleased and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others!

The service was put on the calendar (2) weeks out, I took a day off work to be home when the tree was to be cut down. Grays Tree showed up at 3:15pm to cut down this large tree. They did not finish same day and came back the next day to complete. They did not remove the tree until four days after service began even though they scheduled removal for 3 straight days and didn't show up. I had to call them daily, and up to (4) times last day to get them to remove the tree. I know that Grays Tree explained to me that they had several issues with their trucks over the course of the week however they continued to schedule us for removal each of those days, failed to show up or call us to explain. I don't believe that I will use their services again, although I have found as my second experience with tree cutters, they all seem to operate in a similar manner.

Graham was our consultant who was great to work with. We had 2-3 different crews for cutting down, hauling off etc. All extremely professional and all wanted to do what they could to make us happy. They brought in some very large trucks but all was handled very well. It did take about 2 full business days to complete the work but we had a lot of trees to take down and remove. Would definitely recommend.

They did a great job! They brought all the right equipment to get the job done. There were 2-3 people doing the work. Scheduling an appointment was great and they came on time. They cleaned up well after themselves.

.This is a complete tree service. The crew headed by Chris and Leroy and maybe 3 other men worked for 4 hours trimming large oaks and pines cutting down several. They do a complete job..all of the debris, limbs leaves were raked up stacked up then picked up and hauled away. They are very careful not to damage any flowers or bushes. The large limbs are handed down without putting large gouges in your lawn. The men are professional, polite and know their business. They make sure that what they cut is exactly what you want. You cant even tell they were here. Perfectly clean. You will not be disappointed with this tree service. The men are not sitting around doing nothing..they were all busy all the time.

The price was right. The tree removal went smoothly. They used a crane and the crew was conscientious about the yard. They came back in a couple days to haul everything away. Everything was stacked by the roadside, out of the way. It did take a week or so for them to come back to grind the stumps but I know they were backed up due to the recent rain. The crew that did the grinding was great and even took care of a few smaller stumps from trees that we had cut down ourselves. The only (sort of) problem I had was not knowing until the day of service what time they would arrive to work. We thought they would come first thing in the morning and arranged our schedule to be available then ended up wasting part of the day just waiting. In retrospect, not a problem especially considering that we are very pleased with the work. We will use them again as our yard project expands.

I thought the price was great. I got a quick quote and Gil noticed some other work that I had started on that he could finish easily and gave me an add on quote for that. It was nice because the price was reasonable and I had it done. They came out on the day they said and did the work they said. They cleaned up well. Very minor comments on negatives. They did leave a lot of the branches in the front yard and said they would come get them that day. They did not. I had read several reviews that this was the case with them so I was not expecting them that day. They did not them early the next morning and was not a big deal. They should tell people if may be the next day because it was a lot of branches. But they don't expect payment until the work is done so it does not bother me. Also they moved our basketball goal so it was blocking the garage and did not move it back. So I had to do that before we get in the garage. Not a huge deal. Just more of an attention to detailed. If I have work like this again, I would call them in a second. Hassle free, nice price, and did what they said. Hard to get better than that.

.I had 4 guys show up who were in constant motion from the time the truck doors closed. They had the tree cut up and piled along side the street in a very short time. The cleanup was so good there is no evidence that a tree had come down. Two hours later another truck showed up and took the pile from the street. Again, a fantastic cleanup job.

Price was excellent! They took it down and it looked like they had never been here. Did a fantastic job and excellent clean-up. Have already recommended them to someone. Would definitely use again!!

excellent fast efficient care to protect house and plants reasonable prices

We had 2 dead and 5 very large pine trees, approximately 100 feet tall, removed at our daughter's new home. All debris was cleaned up and hauled away. The stumps were ground down to below ground level. Needless to say this was a large job. Gray's had all the necessary equipment needed to remove these trees wwhich were close to the house. They could not finish in one day and were there bright and early the next day, Saturday, to finish. They cleaned up all the debris from taking down the trees. When they finish, you won't know they were there. They are extremely conscientious about taking care of one's property and take pride in the quality of their work. As an example, when they showed up to pick up the last load of debris, the driver noticed some branches from the dead trees caught in another tree. He climbed the tree and removed the dead branches. To me this is what should be done but very few company's would do it. The caught branches would just be ignored. We have used Gray's several times in the past and experience the same level of service each time. If I need tree work done, I don't call anyone elswe.
