Great service! This is our second contract renewal with the company

I was not at home.

One month, I didn't pay because I wanted to make sure some specific weeds were taken care of and they turned me over to the collection agency without even contacting me.

Fairway Lawns did a wonderful job. The technicians were there when they said they'd be. In fact, they called ahead to let us know when they'd be coming.

I love this company. I went from a prior service that left me an ugly weed infested yard to being one of the lushest lawns in the neighborhood. They recommend a set number of applications but no ongoing contract is required. With each treatment I get an analysis and directions on my billing statement. To pay I go directly to their website and enter credit card information. The sales staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Throughout the year I have received offers or additional services but they were by mail and there was no high pressure involved. I have recommended this company to neighbors.

I can see the difference in my yard.

Asked for estimate over internet. Someone from the main office telephoned but we got disconnected. Could not get that person back on the line. A representative showed up at our house to give an estimate anyway but we did not use them because another company had already contacted us and signed us up for yard service.

We have used Fairways at two homes. The yards on both homes were in terrible shape when we purchased and they now look great. Our neighbors constantly complement our lawn. Brett is the best. He took both yards from terrible to pristine within a couple of seasons and maintained them. He was very informative and helpful and laid out a plan/timeline and what we could do on our end (mowing/watering schedule) to help the process.

So far, I am very pleased. He was very helpful with the information he gave, and was openly honest regarding the results to be expected. The yard already looks better! He will be returning regularly to continue treatment for our lawn. I will have more information to share as the treatment continues.

We moved into our house in February 2012. The house was built in 1989 and has a well established lawn of Bermuda. As temps started to rise, as did the weeds, and lots of them. Apparently, the previous owner did not keep up the lawn care maintenance while the home was on the market. Fairway came out within a week of first contact and provided an estimate and recommendations. They have been doing regular treatments ever since. I have called them back out twice this year for spot treatment. The came out within a few days, no questions or hassles. I have been battling chamberbitter (mimosa) all summer in my flower beds, which have spread to my lawn several times. Fairway has managed to keep them at bay in the lawn, as they will not treat flower beds as per company policy. I think by next spring, I should be well on the way to a thicker, weed-free lawn.

When we moved into our new house in Alabaster there were weeds galore from neglect. We initially liked Fairway because they do not demand a contract. Other companies make you sign a year commitment and if you move or something happens -- you must still pay. Fairway does not do this. Yet, they came regularly and timely and left a bill on our door. We were simply charged for each service, not for a year's contract. Our weeds quickly gave way to beautiful green grass. Fairway was very easy to work with, very responsive, their corporate office was efficient as well. The technicians we had were very thorough and knowledgeable. Within that first year our weeds stayed permanently away and we received many compliments on our lawn -- far cry from when we first moved in! Unfortunately a year later we had to relocate. These folks are the best and most reasonable around!

This company so far is wonderful! The sales guy who gave us the estimate patiently answered every one of my questions, spending a lot of time going over our lawn. They were here by 9:00 a.m. morning after we called for an estimate. He was extremely informative and reassured that the personnel at this company all have been there for years and are very skilled -- not seasonal hired help. Then we had actual treatment. Justin, our treatment guy, as well spent a lot of time answering questions about what he did and how to take care of the lawn. . He said everyone who works for this company loves their job and has been there for years, that the company really takes care of their employees. So he himself had been there years. They do not require a contract like other companies, because in his words, "our customers love us and there is no need for a contract." They are associated with the University and are on the cutting edge of newest information. They come out in between service for any questions or concerns. Very professional, very informative. I love this place!! I know I will get my money's worth and more.

For the first time in years(after using their competitors services), I could actually smell the fertilizer that they applied. Previously, I would see some coloring on the grass but could not tell that anything was applied. On numerous occasions, I would have to call Trugreen back and have them retreat the lawn because of weeds and such. It is nice to have a service where I don't have to followup behind them to make sure that it was done right. After all, that is what they are supposed to do.

They are great and a lot better than the last company. My lawn looks a lot better and the people I deal with are fine.

I used to use Chem-Lawn, but wanted a company that charges less. I called all over and found this company to be the most affordable. They charge $38 to come about every month. We have an average size yard. I guess they use the same stuff on the lawn as the other more expensive places because we get the same results. No weeds, an overall health looking lawn.

We have a contract with the company and they do all the fertilization several times a year. The price is very reasonable, we pay them annually, and the chemicals are very superior to other brands. We have used their service for awhile now and we are always satisfied. They come on a regular basis.
