Many challenges - not the attention one would expect for the price

Sales and purchase went fine. They installed on the days they said they would. However, the installation is terrible. Tiles are not straight and aligned, grout widths vary. Door jambs were not prepared properly leaving large gaps for grout to be packed in. Two pieces of tile at the door threshold were installed with different grout widths. The tile is not level with some pieces high and some low. I have grout adhesive all over my garage floor. They washed out the grout adhesive buckets in my front yard leaving adhesive in the grass. I believe the tile installer was Eddy. Billy came to do the grout installation. He expressed disappointment with the tile installation. He did what he could do. I have left a message for the Owner of company to call me...he has not. I am not seeking repairs because I do not want the room disassembled again nor miss the time from work to be there for them to replace it. I am wanting others to be aware of this so they get the right installer.

Devine Flooring is very professional and responsive in regards to the showroom staff and owner. However, the workers were not always on time. Normally, they were an hour or so late and were a bit over generous with their estimation of daily job completion. All in all, everything got done and the work was good.

I had used this company two years before when I had a water leak which ruined the floor, and they were recommended by State Farm. I was happy with the work they did, so I called them again when i decided I wanted a change of flooring. I worked with Billy Miller, who is the son of the owner, both times. Billy was the main reason I chose Devine Flooring a second time. I found him to be knowledgeable, not just with flooring, but even with fixing other things in the house; professional, and a very hands-on manager. He came around several times during the day everyday to check on the work, and and he was on top of things to make sure all went well. When furniture and appliances were put back in place over the new floor, he did it himself or supervised it to make sure everything was installed correctly and working properly. I was pleased with the selection that they have. I was trying to match some tiles that had been installed two years earlier, and they did everything they could to get as good a match as possible. i was pleased with the results. In terms of price, I'm really not sure how they compare with others because I didn't shop around. I was more interested in service and workmanship, which is why i would recommend them.
