Carol's Cleaning Team

The worker for the company called me after the time they were supposed to be at my house indicating that she had been pulled over by Jefferson County Sheriff's Dept. and told to return to return to where they came from (Chilton Co.???) because Jefferson County was under lock down. Although the City of Birmingham is under A Stay home ordinance due to the COVID-19, I had no knowledge of Jefferson County not allowing persons into the county for work purposes. I thought this was far fetched reason to cancel at the last minute and told the owner of the company so. I also told the owner that I would tell Angie's list of my ordeal with them and that I had to find another company at the last minute (at double what she was charging), and turn the house over to the new owner a day late because of their cancelation,. She indicated she did not know what to do, and that the story concocted by her workers was true,. She didn't care what I told Angie's List.

I will use Carol's Cleaning Team again because I had an excellent experience with this service provider.

It was fine. It was good. They did a nice job. They were very thorough. They asked questions to make sure what to do. They did it relatively quickly but not in a hurry. They did it so well. They didn't rush through. They came pretty quickly. They were very punctual.

The girls were very professional, and I would use Carol's service again.

It went okay. It was fair. I'd give them a B overall because of the thoroughness of the work. Generally, they did a good job but they didn't maximize their time and cover as many things as they could have.

Very good service, professional

First they sent one maid for 8 hours instead of two for four hours. Carol said they were shorthanded and asked if it would be ok if they sent one person in this situation. I did agree to it but wished I hadn't. She spent half the day in one bathroom and it was cleaned well. It did not need this much attention. The bedrooms and living room were not dusted. The chemicals used were very heavy with chlorine. After cleaning the whole house smelled of the restrooms at the bus terminal. The maid took a cigarette break outside every hour. It took us about a week to get rid of the cigarette smell. You get what you pay for. I went cheap and I got what I paid for. Next time I'll expect to pay the extra.

Everything went well. Very good service. I did not expect all the things they did.

After 1.5 hours the 2 cleaners stated they were finished. That totaled 3 hours of cleaning. I didn't go around and white glove what they did. I trusted they would do their best the first time around. Unfortunately, their best was extremely poor. I ended up redoing pretty much ALL of it the next day. I emptied my vacuum bag and redid the carpets and area rugs. When done the canister was 3/4 full of dirt. I had to redo some of the dusting, the kitchen counter tops still had sticky stuff on them, the kitchen sink still had coffee stains in it, the full bath floor still had hair & dust along the edges and in the corners, I redid the kitchen ceramic floor with my floor steamer. So all in all, it was not a satisfactory job! I give cleaning services 1 chance to do it right the first time. If not done right the first time, they lose my future business, as in this case!

Due to not being able to get the job scheduled in time, I wasn't at the house to see how the cleaning went or get a report from the cleaners. I hired them to work in an empty house for 8 hours and had an agreement with the landlord to let them in. The landlord agreed to let them in and let them clean the property for the whole 8 hours. Again, I'm not sure how things went once the cleaners approached the landlords, or if the landlords even let the cleaners in at all. All I know is that I never got a phone call from Carol's reporting that they were unable to do any services or had any limitations, but I received a bill for a complete cleaning of the house a couple months after I moved out. I'm not sure if the landlord is being crooked (which wouldn't surprise me at all) or if the cleaners did nothing for the whole 8 hours they were there. Either way, I know if 2 professional cleaners worked for 8 hours in an empty house, I shouldn't have been charged for a full cleaning from the landlords. In my situation, lack of a phone call, follow-up or any kind of communication is my biggest complaint. My landlord sent some pictures that were supposedly taken after the cleaning had been performed, and if those pictures are true, there was surely NOT 16 man-hours worth of cleaning done to that house.

I was at work. Ladies texted 2 questions during day but other than that they were able to use the entire 8 hours and get everything we discussed done. It was so nice to come home to a clean smelling home!

Price was very reasonable, they called to set up a time then they call about an hour before they came over. Very nice people, did a wonderful job. Would use them again.

They were punctual and very polite. They did a good job for a superficial cleaning. It was not a deep cleaning and I found places that were dusty but I knew they were on a 2 hour time limit because that is what I paid for through Angie's list coupon. My biggest complaint is that they smelled like cigarette smoke when they walked in which I did not like at all.

I purchased cleaning services for my elderly parents. Carol was responsive and flexible in scheduling to make things easy on my parents. The two ladies arrived on time and prepared with all supplies to complete the job. They were very professional, friendly and thorough with the cleaning. They cleaned the 3 bedroom two bath home within the two hours and focused attention on the areas that I pointed out as priorities. They encouraged me to look around and tell them if I saw anything they may have missed. I think they did a really nice job and would highly recommend them. I plan to schedule future cleanings for both myself and my parents.

I ended up not needing the deal because my guests arrived earlier than anticipated. I was refunded for the deal.

They are very reliable. Some of the girls who work there clean better than others but overall I?m satisfied. I went with them because I tried them and I liked them and I thought their price was good.

They do a good job, trust worthy

We have not cleaned our house thoroughly in several years, so I wanted to have Carols cleaners give this a jump start. In addition my wife has bilateral hip replacements and has difficulty reaching to clean floors. The 2 women worked quickly and efficiently and in 2 hours, cleaned or made a significant inroads in cleaning the kitchen, living room bathrooms and family room. We have since contacted this cleaning service and plan to set up a regular schedule for them to clean our house.

They did everything I asked them to do. They followed through with what they said. They were also accommodating and flexible with scheduling.

She came on time and cleaned very well. Good job.
