The quote was extremely high for the work that I wanted. I wanted to have a couple of branches cut off because they were hanging over the house, and they charged over 400 Dollars. I had the service done in the past and the guy had charged me 75 Dollars, and so this price was really odd.

We've used Aand A in the past, and they were extremely professional and CHEAP. We decided to cut down about 6 trees including demolishing a wheelchair ramp we no longer needed. Aand A had the best priced bid by $300. In addition, they had all the necessary equipment needed. They had to utilize a bobcat, dump truck, and huge trash container. They arrived promptly at 8:00 AM and began work, they used enough guys to make sure the job got finished in 1 day to minimize our disturbance. They listened to my instructions and performed admirably. All the tree stumps were ground down and now I have plenty of mulch. In addition, everything was taken away and even the grass was blown off leaving a very clean work area . Overall, this is, in my opinion, the most professional and ironically the cheapest tree service in the B'ham area. Call them first!

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and considerate. They were careful to avoid a situation that would allow my pastured horse to escape. They even tilted the uprooted stumps back into the ground to make the place safer for my equine. They were careful to avoid sensitive areas that I pointed out (desirable trees) with their caterpillars. They worked all weekend sunup to sundown until the job was done.

Chris provided an estimate within 24 hours and was able to start work four days after being hired. They did an excellent job removing the trees, grinding the stumps, and cleaning up afterward. I was always able to reach Chris on his cell phone, and he made it clear that I wouldn't pay for anything until I was completely satisfied with their work.
