Description of Work: This request was for my daughter...this is what she wrote me in an email when I asked is she was able to get help... | |"When I called to ask for someone to come out to fix the drain clog problem the woman that answered the phone, I assume the receptionist, was very condescending when she said "...we don't work on trailers" like it was below them. When I asked if she could recommend anyone or if I could ask her to email to me a name since I was driving she laughed and said "we really cant help you". I understand its not her responsibility to email me but it sure would be nice to have some courtesy. Going the extra mile does go along way. | |My daughter is a grad student attending Auburn. Its a well known fact that a large portion of the student body lives in a Mobile Home at some point. I live 8 hours away from her...if I could fix it i would. I rely on services like Angie's List to help me facilitate problems my daughter may have. I'm disappointed this occurred. I really don't want a follow up the issue was resolved by another business. I'm sure this doesnt happen all the time. I'm sure there is other information I'm missing but it is was it is at this point.

Description of Work: Install bathroom faucet. Cut hole in sheetrock inside a closet to remove/install bath/shower faucet. Went very good. Glenn was very nice, courteous, and professional and did a good job.

+ -1 moreWe had a water leak in the yard. It was the pipe running between the water meter and the house - tree roots had impinged on the PVC pipe causing the leak. During the initial call to MARK LOMAX PLUMBING, Ms. Blankenship was very courteous and comprehensive with the details of the situation. They sheduled someone to be on site in just a couple of hours. He was able to evaluate the situation and determine what equipment and personnel were needed. I was provided a quote of repair cost and what to expect. First thing in the morning, the repair was underway and within a short while, the underground breakage was tracked down and repaired. They were careful to make as little mess as possible in the yard, and did a good job on smoothing out the area that had been excavated. The bill came in about 20% less than the and quot;maximumand quot; that had been quoted. MARK LOMAX PLUMBING did an overall excellent job. They were quick, courteous, professional, and reasonably priced.

+ -1 moreThey had a problem because they didn’t put a cap outside so the next time it rained we wound up with about two inches of mud in our basement. They came to us recommended but that wasn’t too satisfactory. Overall, I think they did a fine job. They have a huge amount of up-to-date equipment and they were very neat when they were working inside the building. We haven’t had any problems since they came back and capped that pipe.
Description of Work: Mark Lomax Plumbing did some work for our business. They had to redo our pipe that connects to the sewer pipe.

+ -1 moreThe gentleman that came out was very helpful and he was very good about answering my questions. We moved out of the house so I can’t say how long the work has held up, but at the time it looked good. They always got right back with me but he showed up an hour late one time.

+ -1 moreThey were very helpful in diagnosing the problem. Their repair work was excellent. However, I was expecting a bill of around $800 considering the hours they were here, but it was almost $1200. Maybe, I should have gotten an estimate.
