We thought that the price was reasonable. The only thing with them was that we had an appointment to come and they said that they wouldn’t come if it rained and it was raining and we took down the blinds. We did not know we should not have done that and there was a little damage with putting the blinds down and putting them back up. The windows are great and they did a super job and also did siding around the windows and did great with all of that.

I did not pursure any further.

I cannot say enough about the craftsmanship of Mr. Adams. I have hired countless contractors in the past and have never experienced such professionalism. Mr. Adams responded quickly to my inquiry concerning an estimate. He was punctual and very polite and emailed me an estimate within 48 hours. He requested a 10% deposit and began work at the agreed time. An assistant thoroughly power-washed the entire porch to remove all traces of paint and dirt that were there before any work was done to repair the crack. The assistant was polite, courteous, and equally professional. The area around the front steps was cleaned at the end of each day. We were asked to select a color for the stain and were provided with a brochure with colors and detailed information about the product. We were also given concrete-board samples with colors giving us an idea of the colors as they truly would be. At least a couple of coats of the surface material were applied over about two days. The grid, to give the appearance of tile, was carefully laid out and the grooves applied to the product were laid in with consistency. A horizontal groove was added to the vertical surface of the porch at the top of the stairs to give the impression that the porch was tiled. This is a detail that speaks of Mr. Adam's craftsmanship. The siding and brick of the front porch were carefully masked with plastic and painter's tape. A water-based stain was then applied. Because the stain was a water-based product, the first couple of applications did not yield the desired result but Mr. Adams kept working with it until he got the color we had requested. The front storm door, which had been carefully removed and stored during the job, was replaced and the brick was touched up with paint.

I had the same man do all the work on my house. He had some roofers and they kind of work for him. He needed extra help, but everything that was done was done by him except the carpeting. His name is Dennis Adams. He's an individual. I tend to call him jack of all trades. I'm pleased. He has done work for friends of mine and they were pleased too. He just truly does about everything. He was a home builder in Oregon. He was a contractor there. I needed a lot of things done and he was able to do it. He was very pleasant to have because he was in the house for a long time. It was very, very comfortable to have him around. He was an extremely nice man. In fact, it never bothered me when I had to leave the house. I know that's not a smart thing, but he was totally, totally, completely reliable. He has already done a job for man across the street. I like everything about him. I like his integrity, his work and his attitude. It's not always comfortable having a stranger in one's home for a couple of months, but he was very comfortable. He's just a lovely, nice and a trustworthy man. Everything about him is an A+++. If something came up and he couldn't get here at the time he said, he'll call and let me know which a lot of them don't do and I just would sit there all day waiting.
