+ -1 moreNever able to reach the company. I actually wanted to contact Angie to let them know this so they can act on removing this vendor.
Description of Work: I called the first number and it is out of service. The second number's voicemail was full and I could not leave a message. I suspect they are out of business.

+ -1 moreThey never showed, but wasted my time by not showing. 'No call, no shows' are very frustrating and unprofessional.
Description of Work: I scheduled to meet this housecleaner at a particular time. (3:30) They called just 15 minutes before their appointment to say that they would be late (4:15) I called them back to confirm that time. They did not show up, even by 5:30, and did not call to reschedule or even apologize. And I cannot even get them on the phone now to discuss. So, I took off from work to meet them and wasted two hours of my afternoon, for nothing.

+ -1 moreThe overall experience was extremely exceptional! I would definitely do business with Hot Mops Cleaning Service again and I recommend it to anyone!
Description of Work: My house was an absolute disaster and I was moving out of state. My realtor had told me that the best way to sell my home was to hire a local cleaning service. I looked for cleaning services in Athens, AL and I found that Hot Mops Cleaning Service came highly recommended. When I looked at their web site and seen the list of services I was amazed at all they did. I was expecting an outrageous price for all this work, but at a price of $275.00 I did not have to worry at all. I felt that this price was more than reasonable considering the condition of my home. The staff was very friendly and down to earth. When walking through the home, Vernie was able to point out many areas that needed a little extra attention that I would have never seen since I lived there, but I bet a potential home buyer would have noticed it right away. Thank you so much. The house sold only a couple of weeks after the cleaning and I could not be happier.

+ -1 moreAbsolutely astounding! I don't think we've ever seen the house this clean! Not only that, but I don't think we've ever been as impressed by a cleaning group, either here or in any of the other cities we've lived in. Vernie and her crew came over to do an initial estimate a few days ago - and unlike other companies who send a person to do a quick look-see, Vernie got down on her hands and knees and inspected many different areas of the house to see how much work it would be to clean (often by doing some light cleaning to test), and what we expected. When she came today with her group, she spent over 3 hours cleaning - and this was a first time clean, for which the charge was the same as a weekly charge. And not only that, but the house was sparkling clean - areas we thought wouldn't get that clean were shining and amazing!
