The owner, Scott, initially replied to my phone call within 24 hours and set up an appointment to come see the current landscaping and provide a free estimate. At the initial consultation, we told him what we wanted - although vague - and how much effort we wanted to provide in maintenance. Scott took pictures and made suggestions and listened attentively. After about two weeks, I emailed him to check on the status of the estimate and proposed plan. He promptly replied and we set up another appointment. At the review, he showed me a drawing of his plan and went over the materials and showed pictures of most of the plants he wanted to use. We added a few, changed a few, and even decided to keep a couple that were doing well. He gave me a quote on the entire project, as well as a breakdown if we just wanted to replace the edging and remove the current plants. We chose to have him do the entire project. He gave me an estimate of when it could be scheduled (about 3 weeks out) and told me it would take 3 or 4 days. Scott and his team showed up on the exact morning of his estimate and he introduced me to them. They proceeded to tackle the project and stopped long enough to ask me exactly where I wanted the removed plants moved into the back yard. They even dug the holes and fertilized the transplants. They also had to move a couple of existing plants in the back yard - even dug them up and put them in pots for me! The team of two were completely finished in less than 3 full days. They were friendly, answered all my questions, let me know what they were doing each day, and gave me tips on maintenance. Scott came by an hour after they finished and showed me how to use the irrigation, how to initially water the new plants, and made sure I was satisfied with the results. The company was professional, prompt, and friendly. The workers were efficient and neat (never had to clean up after them)! I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Athens/Huntsville area.
