The plumber, M.S., showed up on time but his shoes were muddy and he did not have shoe covers. To get to the bathroom, he had to walk on white carpeting. He had to take off/put on his shoes whenever he went to the truck. The plumber, M.S., was very nice and personable. He fixed the sinks and shower, but he botched the toilet. He replaced the fill valve. That night, it kept involuntarily flushing [what I call singing], and we had to turn off the water to the toilet. I contacted AllStar and spoke to the representative, who explained that we may need a new toilet and M.S. could not return soon because they were busy, but we probably should go ahead and buy a new toilet. I priced a replacement Raphael toilet, and at $750, I moved to Plan B. On 11/20, I called another plumbing company and spent $302.46 to fix the problem. We did not need a new toilet. M.S. had installed the wrong parts and the handle would not flush completely, it kept hitting the handle. The new plumber installed a part that was appropriate for the low-profile Raphael. He looked inside the other toilets in the house [also Raphael] and bought that fill valve. Since November, we have had no problems.

When I originally called, they said it would cost $150 but when the guy came out and did the work, he charged me lesser, he said because it was so easy to do and it did not take him much time. I really appreciated their willingness to charge what it cost rather than charging more.
